Looks like it would be survivable but that paint work is not good quality if it just flaked off like that. I haven’t seen that happen on other cars in the front on crash test.
@@SiemensIQ700pro yes, small flakes right on the hood. The TB has a nearly veritcal edge on the leading line of the hood. it catches every rock from the road with 0 mercy.
Paint on a car chips very easily and with the angle that the hood went in that seems pretty normal for that I have yet to see one of these on the road with any paint imperfections
The new trailblazer and the new blazer Don’t feel anything like the original the trailblazer is 10x smaller the blazer isn’t as badass as it used to be, they just kinda got rid of that blazer feel... I wish it came back kind of how the bronco did.
door still open and windshield isn’t cracked. looks like it did well
It could still open? Excellent.
Why is there no small overlap crash rating on these
Why it looks same as Hyundai?
@@jonortiz9028 Thanks, did not know about that.

They probably fixed it on the newer models
I think in a crash, the paint work is the least of your worries lol
I purchased one of these in 2021. the paint flakes. if only you had commented sooner.
@@ilyaK41 just from normal use?

I feel like how easily so much paint on the hood flaked off doesn't bode well for this car's paint quality and durability.

Don't safe ?

safe, but a 1.3L engine? come on now.
turbo 1.3l
That’s how all compact crossovers are now I’m pretty sure they are lighter than sedans or even coupes at this point
@@slapshotjack9806 yeah. I was making the point that I have the older model Trailblazer and it's got a V8. Times have changed.
@@kepler240I had the older version as well I didn't know they came in a v8. I had the straight 6.
1.3l gets that fuel economy test drove one yesterday
