- Biden’s Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy, recently issued a first-of-its-kind Surgeon General’s Advisory for “firearm violence.” Murthy argued that firearm violence is a “public health crisis” that must be dealt with immediately. But Glenn translates that into what it really means: “when the government says, ‘it's a public health concern,’ what they mean is a lack of control of the public.” Plus, Glenn reviews a terrifying bill that Delaware’s legislature recently passed that sheds light on why everything is being declared a “public health crisis.”

Declaring "firearm violence" a public health emergency, does several things to restrict our 2nd Amendment rights. First, guns are NOT evil or VIOLENT. People are evil and/or violent. It makes no difference what tool they choose as their means of committing violence. Second, making this a public health emergency would not just encourage your family doctor to ask and then report details of people who own firearms, but actually require the doctors to do this. In order to coerce the doctors to do this, the government can now refuse to pay doctors through Medicare and Medicaid. Any person who may be diagnosed with any kind of mental disorder, such as Bipolar, PTSD, Dementia, etc; could be deemed a threat to themselves or others and have their rights to keep and bear arms taken away. Any person, church, business or organization who displays both, the American Flag and the Christian Flag, have now been labeled as "Christian Nationalists". How long before that term is determined to be a mental disorder? See what they are after? They have been unsuccessful in their effort to take guns away in a direct action, so they are doing an end-run around the Constitution by declaring Constitutional rights as a public health emergency.
Anyone who admits depression or anxiety or is on any meds for these as well. Be careful what u say to a Dr, or what prescription you take
