Closest thing I could find for my honda CLR (it's half CG and half something else) cuz at 31 years old I still didn't have a scooby doo how to do this 🙃 thank you!
Hey man Thank you very much for this tutorial You helped me a lot because there is not a lot of videos about this bike I don't have an owner's manual for it and i needed to know the viscosity of the oil ❤❤❤
Thanks for going to the effort of making this video. Can I ask - with the CG, do you screw the dipstick all the way in to check the level or do you rest it on the threads? Subscribed, liked and notified. Dave
It should be between the top and bottom grooves of the dip stick at the end. For filling too much- just undo the sump plug a little and let a small amount drip out
Don't worry if you have got a little more oil in than needed as the cg has a breather hose on the top of the engine case letter the pressure escape not ruining your gaskets
Cg125 has centrifuge filter , you should open engine and clean the iron filter (no need to change oil filter), the best is to clean it when you change the clutch.

Great, one of the most sold bikes in the world but not much on RUclips for simple servicing
Another vital tip to get all the old oil out, kick it/ use the starter motor to get it all out, and then tip it to one side to really get it all gone👍
make sure your ignition is OFF when you do this!! if it kicks over with no sump plug in boy does it make a mess

Hi. You just unscrew the dipstick all the way to check oil, like just rest it on the threads
@@mopedinthemalverns6661 good question. I screw it in and read it
What about cleaning out the centrifuge
Yes you should do it too
brilliant video thank you
Thank you
Thanks for the video. A little unclear on how you know when you’ve put enough oil in and what you do if you’ve over filled?

How much oil goes into this engine?
About a litre.
The CG150 doesn't have an Oil Filter?
I’m not sure about the cg150

What size socket did you use please?
24 mm
my missus would kill me and burn the bike if I put oil all over her patio 😆
