      Very cool.. So many options out there for planes.. Its too hard to pick which plane to take to the field... Or buy...

    Nice flying Will! Great lil jet, and a bargain for the price.

      @@SteffenRC Adam is guilty I fell in love in this model and so experienced fliers in the club. I have ordered 6 for me and them from January on xD. Another friend also 4. Our latest mod is 7S HRB 1800-2200, Vgood 120A (8S) Esc, Freewing 6S 2500KV edf. My friend has without landing gear clocked 230 km/h (144 mph) and still good to fly :)

    Perfect flight, Will! I'm tempted every time when I see the lil' Futura pop up on some website and then reason kicks in - the ol' buzzkill - and reminds me that I already have the Freewing Banshee, which has similar specs and also flies comparable - apparently. I like your controlled flying style a lot and it fits mine even though I'm still not quite as good (particularly landings😆). What impresses me the most on that little Futura is the small size combined with the benigne flying capabilities. The downside is, that the speed of the jet is rather limited on 4S, even though it is more than enough for a beginner. Retracts would be cool on this class...

      Thanks for the comments... This is the best 4S EDF I've flown and seems to find its way to the flying field quite often. Just a no brainer type of flying. Like you, I have many planes and its hard to thing about getting the lastest and greatest, when what I have is fine.. To be honest, I'm lucky that FMS sends me planes to review, so I do get a chance to fly many FMS planes. But I'll still buy a new plane, if it fills a gap in my hanger... Agree, retracts would be cool, but the weight would really kill the performance. Maybe an upgrade to 6s system.. :-)

      @@SteffenRC 😁 Yeah, that's what I'm about to do on my Banshee, just waiting for the ESC to arrive.... You haven't tried the little Futura without the gear, have you? (and yes, I agree that black or green stripes on the bottom wouldn't add to the beautiful looks of the yellow bird 😆)

      No gearless flights with this one.. The Ail servos aren't protected and would get damaged.. Plus, I like doing TnG's...

      @@SteffenRC 😂 With the Conscendo, I'm doing these, too - or better: nevertheless 😋 Ok, not really comparable. I found some vid, where a guy was 3D printing protectors and indeed got a 15% increase on the speed. Which is kind of impressive, but not enough (imho) to sacrifice the beauty and grace of a butter landing on wheels 😁

    Hey Will, this is my color too :) Great video and review! I would add that it´s a great jet for gras too. That was the first reason for which I found it on january. I don´t now if it´s the airframe or my rates but with this I tend to gain a lot of altitude while doing long turns although I´m always turning with some rudder on all of my planes. Maybe I use too les elevator also being afraid of stalling. I´ll keep an eye on this :P

    • @SteffenRC
      @SteffenRC  2 месяца назад +1

      Not sure about the climbing. Often I don't even add rudder, just bank and yank. This plane is pretty forgiving on stall. Do some stall tests at altitude to test the limits...

    • @ficosk8
      @ficosk8 2 месяца назад +1

      @@SteffenRC yes I’ll need to test stall. But with me both the old and newer 64 I have had stalled hard on me 🤣 I’ll check again with more room underneath :P

      No you didn't miss it. Thats just a silly thumbnail picture.. Something other than me holding it with a cheesy grin.... That said, I think I could hand launch this plane

    Can this plane do a inside out loop? Like reverse loop

    • @SteffenRC
      @SteffenRC  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes it can. But, gotta have a bit more speed and gentle application of the elevator or she'll snap out of the loop.
