    All
    I can say is you are a lucky man, not only to have such nice large plants but also have a beautiful life partner that shares your enthusiasm for plants and will go on video and lift these monsters up. I don’t think my wife would ever do this. Congrats. I think your mssg of humidity isn’t everything is imporant, but most important is potting them up and giving proper
    Light and water.

    I just found your other video about anthuriums and subscribed. I am about to buy a queen anthurium and I find your videos to be the most informative yet. I love how Jeanine was literally hidden in all that fabulous king foliage! WOW Impressive plants.

    That is what I would do cut the roots down, but am happy to hear your thinking of doing it to confirm my thoughts. 😅
    I have not seen one leaf over 42 inches in anyone’s home. My longest is 22 inches.

    Beautiful plants. I am an avid grower who just bought their first anthurium which is how I stumbled across your videos. I noticed that the leaves of your plants are yellowing or burnt around the edges and on the tips and I am curious to know if you determined the cause / have a solution for this? If you are not already, perhaps you should measure the PH of your water and consider balancing the PH to 5.8 when watering.

    You have inspired me. I have just started with the Anthuriums. Your videos are so informative. I'm in SW Florida where they should love the humidity.
    What is the ratio on the plant food you use. That's one area i lack knowledge, is knowing what type of food to feed my plants.

    Gorgeous! ❤ Waiting for my Anthurium Luxurians baby to arrive. What would you suggest I do in the first few months to get it to size up quickly? Give it a big pot with lots of room to spread out? I'll keep it under a grow light and fertilize regularly. Water scares me a bit, I tended to waterboard my baby plants to death so now I'm very cautious with water.

      once roots extend to the side of the pot you can transplant to a larger pot - I water twice a week with good results -

    BEAUTIFUL plants, I learn so much from all your videos!! I was wondering - do you use that bonide systemic insecticide on your orchids as well? If so - does it work for mealybugs, scale, thrips and spider mites?

    I have a young queen that I purchased recently. She pushed out 1 new leaf, but the tip started curling down. I can't seem to figure out if it is doing this dude to too much light.
    Any advice or tips that may help figure it out would be much appreciated

    • @growproteas1148

      not sure I can diagnosis online - but could it be the plant getting used to new environment? are you giving adequate water - 2x week -

    • @MrSonoru
      @MrSonoru Месяц назад

      @@growproteas1148 I water it twice a week, making sure to fertilize once a week. The grow lights I've been keeping it under are the same grow lights I use for my succulents for about 12 hours. I'm thinking the light might be a little too intense or my anthurium may be a bit too close to the light. Aside for the curling on the one new leaf, the plant does look healthy

    For some reason this plant does not like me 😢…. I have it in humidity, light , orchid fertilizer, keep it watered( self watering pot), have used both pon, and standard aroid mix. I do have one leaf on one plant and that leaf has some yellow/ browning and some of the green coloring is leaving… and it seems to be a slow grower.
