Once again a very well informed video for us Albert. Thanks for the share. This thing really does look like it’s flys like butter! What a great tune. I need a big long range for sure.

I'm just not ready for a quad like this yet but hopefully someday I can get myself a cruiser

Let's gooo you got it done really well!! The build is looking pretty clean, you're an amazing quad builder, I wish I had at least half of the experience you have when it comes to building quads! The goggle dvr is looking real smooth too! As always great video, Albert! Keep up the great job!!! 💪

Nice looking frame. Plenty of room on the top plate for a decent sized lipo. The folding props are very good for cruising around, smooooth. Happy flying everyone. 🤓

Anything less than 100A ESCs on a tinywhoop is a DEAL BREAKER! 🤣🤣🤣

Great build tips, and additional components one would need to complete the build. Very smooth flight. Wow that is a big battery!!!

That is cool. I'm keen on build kits. I think it reminds me of the old school "Tamiya models." I personally like the 30 x 30 stacks they are a little easier to work with and most frames have holes for 30 x 30. i just built a quad with a vista kit. The vista is 20 x 20 and the my quad did not come with 20 nor 25mm M2 screws, had to order them. I think that a 65 AESC is a bit over kill, but it makes swapping parts easier. I like the DAL folding props. I think they look cool. I know they have less bite, but they make transportation a little easier and look kinda cool. Great video Albert. This is definitely a kit worth looking into. Do you like the Foxeer Stacks, are they reliable? I really like this quad. Thanks for the review. Great video. A quality quad worth the money.

I've used the Foxeer stacks on other builds and they are all still going strong. Nothing died yet but everyone abuses their parts differently so YMMV.

Great build and flight Albert Kim!
The higher esc amp rating is not bad, there is a lower chance to burn the esc.
Betaflight presets makes it easier for beginners and people who don't like to tune.

Presets are the way to go... CLI dumps are outdated tech.

Very clean looking build! There are quite a few quads I have had to design adapters for since I only have 20x20 stacks. I have an Explorer and have yet to do any LR flights with it as I am afraid to lose my build LOL. Great info and keep the vids coming AK!

Makes me want to build a 7 inch quad for long range, my fear is losing it without gps installed

Nice build and fly review! Foxeer is coming along nicely as a manufacturer! They seem to be alittle more quality than quantity imo....💥👊 thanks Albert.

I added the same Reaper ESC, but I was having dropped Dshot frames. Tried dshot 300 & 600, but still having issues. Flies & sounds fine, but did you have any issues if so how did you resolve it? It seems like i had less dropped frames messing around with PWM in blheli.

I had no issues. You might have some firmware or other settings related issue here.

That's a beefy boy. I've never seen those kind of props on anything besides photography drones. The color is nice though. great build!

I've used these 7 inch folding props on a lot of previous videos. Welcome to the channel.

    • @pandrews01

Those are "DALPROP folding props." They come in several pieces. (I believe 5 or 6/and a variety of color combinations) Less bite and a little more expensive, but actual blades can be swapped out should one break. Much easier for those who travel with props on.

Wrong flight controller…life of evaluating non production units. 😝 7” is a big drone! I imagine it’s easier to install electronics into a bigger frame. With the new FAA updates, I’m planning to stay in the sub 250g world.
    Thanks Albert!

@@AlbertKimTV I had a bad DJI/caddx camera and have been waiting a month to get a replacement. Not sure how much longer I’ll have to wait. It’s not like I don’t want to fly the drone or anything…😫
