Thank you so much! Spent some time looking for permission issues on S8+. Luckily found this great video and realized that tiny mic hole was clogged just 1 month after the purchase. Unclogged with a toothbrush and BINGO!

I am having this problem for a long time and I have to restart the tab or phone when it happens. I m using a lot of platforms which require mic. If I am using one of those the same time this problem occurs. Very annoying software problem. I hope they solve this problem.
hello im currently having problems with my mic. see my mic is atually okay but whenever i record something, there would be an annoying static noise on the background of the voice recording. what could be causing this? im using samsung tab a8.
heyofficial bro, Did your Tab faced any hardware damage by falling or water, it could cause the problem. If nothing is working, it can be a hardware issue, and you need to repair it or talk to the shop, if you have warranty.😊
Marchie Brizuela Bro, Check if you have turned on the volume control with buttons from Settings or not, it can sometimes cause the problem. If it is not the problem it can be a hardware problem.😊
This solved our sound problem on Zoom. We re-initiated, and changed the privacy settings without success. But then when we turned off Bluetooth both the microphone and the speaker began working in Zoom.

Articus Kyliee Bro, Try cleaning the mic, and also if you are using a Case, then remove it. It can fix the issue.😊
