Dude…what do you have to loose with this tiny bottle…add a few drops of a cool dark blue to darken and cool the color…see if that makes your heart super happy 😊
I LOVE this color. I’m looking forward to using it in my Onion Skin journal. Yes, it’s light. And I nearly always write with a fine or extra fine nib, but this color will likely minimize the ghosting on the extremely thin onion skin paper. I’m excited to try it out.
Hey hey...it's been a while. I've been watching; just a lot of life shit. You know how it is. Yeah I'm with you: I like the colour but not sure how practical it would be in writing. Now for art - different story. Few landscapes Matthew painted with this grey rock. As do you my friend. Lovely to see you 💜💜💜
So nice to see you! I was just thinking I need to reach out to send you some samples of his ink! I will do when I've got some time. Hope things settle for you. 🥰
Hope you're having a great day as well. Yes the cold, yuck. Pressure migraine happening here b/c the air pressure has been high for several days. I need a thunderstorm. Light inks that I like (just received Colorverse USA South Carolina - Nights of Myrtle) seem to enjoy living in my Sailor PGS Nebula . Oddly, the light/dry inks don't like regular PG - they seem scratchy in both and nibs in the 18k version and I worry that the nib is getting out of place from the scratchiness. Maybe I just lucked out with this PGS not sure if they are all so smooth, but the lighter colorverse inks adore it on Kokuyo Campus Sarasara paper and in Hobonichi.
@@MariaRosseau Hence my hesitation to buy another Sailor PGS - or another PG for that matter, b/c maybe the was just unlucky?? lol. I suppose this is why they call it a rabbit hole. There is no escaping once bitten by curiosity 😂
I'm not a light ink fan - but I could see this being useful in some non-writing but art situations. I don't do much if any art, so this would not be an ink for me. Love your idea from the other night about looking for a discount Colorverse Calendar after the holidays. I AM loving the whole concept and look forward to the next day!
Hi Maria, I wonder how light this ink will be in a pen. Atm I have a specific use for light grey and we know what happened to Kiri-Same. This looks even lighter and could be a candidate. Kaweco Smokey Grey is on the way and perhaps this will be a good light grey, too. (Totally agree with everyday use to be too light for us… ☺️)
@ you can, I bought the Kuretake thinner! But you need a lot. Tried it with purple mist (which is almost pastel). But the flow is superb with it. Don't know if it's cost efficient to "produce" a small 10ml bottle though. Did you try thinning an ink before?

Hmm, interesting idea. I might try that with a sample. 🤔

I would love to hear how it works out for you! I'm still thinking of it so it may end up in a pen yet. 😅🥰

It's interesting how some nibs just seem to resonate more with us. I've got a few that are just perfect, when other similar ones are just ok. 🥰

It is a bit light but it might be OK in a broad nib. You should give it a try. It looks great on white paper.
It does look really nice on white paper. It's a shame I don't do more writing on white paper. 😅
I like the idea of grey ink but have yet to find one that I'd actually use.
I have a few I like. Diamine Earl Grey is my favorite. I also like 75t Rocket Engine from Colorverse.
I do love a grey ink, in fact I am using one now. I must resist spending till next year since I bought another Lamy Studio in my sleep.
Sleep shopping is dangerous. 🤣🥰
@@MariaRosseau I know 😞

Matthew from The Wet Pen did some art with this one that you can see in his video for today. It's so lovely! 🥰
@@MariaRosseau Ooooooooo!!! I'll have to check it out!
Checked it out...and WOW...amazing!

I wonder if you could thin an ink that's a little too dark so that it appears lighter. 🤔

@@MrsAlchemist I did this with some water with Organics studio Nitrogen. But that was to make it less over-the-top full of sheen.
@ makes sense. I tried it first with water and the purple but of course way too dry to use in a pen.
Maybe too light to write but very pretty and calming. Hi!
Hello back! It's definitely calming. Maybe good for daytime writing on white paper, at least with my aging eyes. 😅🥰
I don't like really light inks because I can't use them in writing.
I can use them... But not when I want to read what I've written. 😅🤣🥰
