I love the tentacles as a concept but it sucks that they just get stuck on casting the same four 10 mana spells over and over again. I think they should change the effect that they cast any number of random spells that are worth that much mana. Then they could even scale beyond ten
Or drop the cost after 10 mana spell
I mean the only wincondition is to spam the druid 10 mana yogg box until you win

Unfortunately for you it's his return as he was apparently the original Yogg VA.
@k.bularga9046 Interesting. As in WoW itself or in the original Yogg card? Because that's quite the difference between the cards. I totally could be mistaken.
@@dreww1459 according to some of my less reputable sources this is the original WoW VA - the hearthstone one has had some sort of controversy that made him unfit for the job (the one that did the previous two cards). This iteration however lacks severely in the echo voice effect, which is what keeps putting people off as that was quite the popular part of Yogg's appeal - the booming sound.

I think you need to be a Renathal deck if you want to max out on Tendrils. Especially with the "cast 6 druid spells" being one of the few 10-cost spells, you're just going to die to fatigue so often with only a 30-card deck. The 5 life isn't even as important as just increasing your deck size by 10.
In this update, the developers added the ability to set more than 60FPS. If your monitor allows you to play at, for example, 120, 144 or higher, then you should give it a try. It seemed to me that the animations began to go much faster.

No setting for this in the settings. Do you mean "frame rate"? Because that has been there ages.
AFAIK "high" frame rate was always your monitor's refresh rate.
They added so many draw spells that its impossible to win with random casting.
Yeah, yogg has been a draw simulator for a while now. I think you should never play him with 20+ spells if you don't want to die instantly. Yogg was great while he was still in standard
Yogg has always drawn/generated a lot of cards. Even bag in the WOTOG days. You should never really Yogg with a full hand because there's a *huge* chance he'll draw cards.

Ya know, since there's this 10 mana spell that summons copied stuff from your hand, maybe add some insane death rattles to the deck just to synergies with it.
As cool as Yogg-Saron, Unleashed is, I am NOT a fan of his voice in this mini-set. I’m so used to the versions from the original WoW and even the Darkmoon Faire expac.
@@firstsomeonelastname42 I've read online that this new Yogg's voice actor is the same as Jaraxxus, and that he also voiced both back in WoW as well.
However, I'm still not a big fan of the new voice, either. Maybe it'll grow on me in the future, but I doubt it.

Isn't it repeat until one board is full. So you need both pkayers boards tonbe full for a nullify the time and onenfull board from 2+

This deck seems like it could be insanely good if Convoke was as reliably powerful as a Runes of the Archmage, and/or Drakefire Amulet, Nagrand Slam, or Survival of the Fittest were in rotation.
Convoke being as reliable as Rune of the Archmage would be so boring.
Cards like Convoke the Spirits and Yogg shouldn't be too good, people don't play them to win, they play them to watch crazy things happen and maybe win.
@@Aldrius Oh, totally agree. I hate when extremely high variance cards are on average really powerful (which frustrates me that so much of the miniset was dedicated to Tendrils).

Yogg's voicelines this set sound so off-putting. Why did they use Jaraxxus' VA for him?
Really feel like they should remove Convoke from the random pools. All it feels like it does is draw 6 billion cards and kill you in fatigue. Makes ramping up to 10 with the tendrils seem like a bad thing instead of a good thing.
The Convoke need a reduce mana to 9! too many draw😅

I stopped playing hearthstone for a month and i have NO clue whats going on
Anomalies are kinda fun for a week but getting them 25% of the time for the rest of the expansion cycle is surely gonna suck, especially because this is really fun meta for me. I want to see how the new decks actually perform, not them to be skewed by randomness
Everything is skewed by randomness in hearstone ... people don't realise how small anomalies real impact is... a perfect discover can win a game, a perfect anomalie for your game can't.
@@fixo5132yeah but it's a known randomness. A lot of these anomalies clearly favor a certain type of deck. Minion reduction favors fast decks against control. Spell reduction favors spell heavy and control decks. Your whole deck revolves around hero power? Oh we're sorry here's a new one. It's not the same when your opponent discovers a card that wins them the game and when rules change in favor of your opponent. The second one is just straight up unfair.

This mini set had so much potential
I think tendrils should be buffed to cast a 1 cost spell, then a 1 cost and a 2 cost, etc
Because the pool for 10 cost spells is so weak
Maybe after 10, casting two spells for 1 mana after a single tendril seems excessive...like, 10+1, 10+2, 10+3...
That would be way too much value for what is supposed to be a fun mechanic. This kind of thing can't be good, because every game will just be nonsense

Tl;dr the deck has a 0% win rate and drags the game typically up to turn 15
I always rejoice against this deck because I never lose against it. It’s just way too random and unreliable.

Really dont want to be "that guy", but i dont like where this set or Hearthstone all around is going. Its just random non sense.
Different game modes for that is fine but anomalys and this set are just a chaotic mess. Maybe thats fun for a few games and randomness is quite a key mechanic in Hearthstone.
But i want to play my deck and not just drag cards into a field and hope.
