I've been watching Failure Frame every week, and I've been enjoying the story. Tonight, I've just watched the latest episode. I saw the Tiger lady walk into the bar, and I start to think to myself "... wait a second. I've seen this before..." Goddamnit, I watched this on youtube MONTHS AGO!
That sounds like a great premise for a slow life isekai. I can see the title now: "I wasn't strong enough to be the Hero, so instead I run an Inn." or something like that.
Great story? You're telling me a bunch of teenagers want to have their classmates murdered and to be kidnapped and used for war? I just instantly find this writing bad and hard to swallow.

The goddes 100% knew the danger of that dude, and instantly tried killimg him for the absolutely insane world breaking skills. If everything has no immunity, that god could have just. Been killed. Like that. No wonder she tried removing him as fast as possible.

It seems like this event is foreshadowed by the spear wielding S-rank hero. The goddess slaped her and probably afflicted her with the nulification, thus no unique skill.
I m not a native english speaker but the goddess Vysis somehow reminded me of the word "viscious", which literally means evil . I swear to god they somehow foreshadowed by ANYONE pronouncing her name like "Vyzies" , which matches pronounciation from the above.

At least these dime a dozen idiot plots had the group betray the guy because reasons and that was still dumb but at least expected.

I want to do a manga like this but everyone teleported is genre savvy and expects the guy with the useless skill to be OP AF and expects him to save the day. . but the skill is ACTUALLY useless and he has to figure out how to save things.

I recommend you 'the amber knight'. The mc is good a reading / imitating people. He is pretty weak, il he ever gets punched by someone he will probably die. But people think he is strong and he can imitate the facial expression of stronger people, so everyone is afraid of him. There was a chapter that one of the strongest characters had a bloodlust so strong that it stopped everyone except the mc because he is soo weak he couldn't feel it
The goddesses name sounds alot like the word vices and she’s secretly cruel and uses her humans like disposable toys for her defense, it might be that she’s more evil than this supposed demon or devil lord bandying about with his monsters, maybe it’s a reverse on its head and the “Demon Lord” is fighting to free the world from Visis’s corrupt control. Like how she disposes of any summoned person with rolled bad stats or unwanted abilities she just throws them away to be forgotten about but focuses her attention on her strong summons the S class and A class heroes, everything else is just supplementary to her haul of heroes. She might be beautiful but she’s got a hidden hideousness to her personality that no one seems to see through.
Frankly I am surprised after he learned about the various factions that he didn't outright say something like "Maybe I should seek and audience with this so-called 'Demon Lord' if the goddess discards her subjects like garbage on a whim."
Oh true, taking the main forms of sin, she is a prideful, wrath-filled being who definitely has a heavy air of lust, yet her sloth-like traits prevent her from carrying her envy much further than that.
Vysis reminds me of the Empress of Light (EoL) from Terraria. The smile, the looks too. Except for the alignment. EoL gives the impression of Chaotic good, but Vysis is clearly Chaotic evil.

Oh, I like how he overcame the range limitation. Reminds me of a magician from a Piers Anthony novel who had a 6 ft range to his magic, which is why he would make dramatic gestures when using it. He could actually activate his magic with a thought, but the gesture was to get his hand closer and extend his range slightly.

Is because the power of the fear. She is the top boss and anyone with brain goes against her. That creates a strong balance to things to thrive. Her way, but is a tipe of thrive.

Civit death had me rolling I was surprised the MC did him dirty like that I don't feel sorry for him , I did at first but then I remembered he basically had his men raping captured women.
Not just that but Seras princess would´ve been forcefully married to him and he threated MC with her well being. Because Touka knows he´s dead if he shows up again to the goddess unprepared he opted for the easy option of disposing of Civit right away which in hindsight was the right choice as one of the goddesses lieutenants implies had Civit survived, they would´ve culled some students (likely so the higher ranks would´ve gotten more exp from the golden monsters)

I think the big takeaway, besides his obvious resistance, is that Status effects in the story are told to have a low effect rate. This would imply that status-focused abilities aren't used often because they would be entirely unreliable. Which is the McGuffin of MC, 100% Status effect rate means that he will always be able to utilize an effect that most individuals disregard as being too unreliable for combat and, thus, are unlikely to prepare for.
