This is extremely light hearted compared to other mangas such as Fukushuu O Koinegau Saikyou Yuusha Wa, Yami No Chikara De Senmetsu Musou Suru and Nidome no Yuusha wa Fukushuu no Michi wo Warai Ayumu. In fact I would go as far to say that this manga couldnt even be considered dark.

Ive watched 2 recaps and read this manga once but didnt know there were this many new chapters (where all of the recaps end is around 1:30:00 after the guild asks about the MC or the more recent recaps had the few other chapters like 5-7 minutes later. So having another 30 minutes i didnt expect it)
So the guy has flashbacks of everyone thanking him and at the very least appreciating him for saving them, and you're trying to make me believe that ONE GUY managed to turn around the opinion of 100% -1 of the population, so they literally want him dead, with no sign of anyone ever being distrustful of him beforehand. Yeah right, sounds coherent to me.
