Hard to beat a good bite with good friends! Love the sound design, A D!!
Thanks, that's one of the hardest parts.
Beats phatter than cheap bacon, Alvin comes through with the sounds
LOL!!😂 You know it!
Nice rig your friend has , good to see it passed the fish catching portion of its test . Thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
Alvin, i’ve got a long winded question for you! I’ve been fishing a creek by my house that has big fish in it (I broke off a 7 pound bass last fall). Lately I have had a hard time getting bites. They seem to be very very finicky (despite the fact that no one else fishes this creek) and won’t take anything. I’ve thrown everything from poppers, clousers, and even slowly drug craw patterns on the bottom (at all hours of the day) and haven’t caught anything. any suggestions for ways to catch bass in a creek like this?
Boat dogs rock! Glad you got to fish. Those bass were killing the poppers!
It was a good day!
Way cool Alvin . Live in Granbury , your making me want to go fishing. No pain no strain. ❤
Go for it!
Coolest music on the tube
Thanks, sometimes that's the hardest part.
You and me both my friend.
Awesome fishing..music..and video! Thanks Alvin! 👍👍🎣🎶👌✌️

Nice trip! Taking the fly rod with me to the creek tomorrow. Will try the popper and see if it works in my neck of the woods

What kind of boat is that? Doesn’t look like a hog island but definitely got the job done.
Here are the specs: 1652 Southfork MUDD with the Mercury 60/40 jet, custom sponsons/Float pods. Got it from Eberlin boats and motors in Hermann, Missouri
Nice fishin!
Thanks for watching!

I forgot what weight is your streamer rod. I watched the video you did on you gear but can’t find it now🤪
I usually start with the 6 weight. I did throw the 7 with a sink tip for a little while. Here are a couple of videos. ruclips.net/video/2r-3cIyz3bc/видео.html ruclips.net/video/PZtfzVueEZc/видео.html
@@AlvinDedeauxFlyFishing thanks, for some reason I thought it was an 8wt so you could pick up sink tips easily 👍
I go check it out now😉
Jealous... I tried to get a river trip tomorrow so I could put it down as my last float trip of the Summer 2022. Struck out on finding partners to share the rowing and the shuttle....
Well I would feel sorry for you Tony, but I know you had a few good days out there this summer. How is fall fishing over there?
@@AlvinDedeauxFlyFishing Well yes, I have had my share of good river days this summer, just wanted one more before summer officially ends. We have had a dream summer with lots of water in our smaller rivers. In the Fall, our Smallmouth fishing slows down but in my experience for fly fishing it goes to hell once the leaves start falling (Mid to Late October). However, our wild trout fishing kicks into high gear in the autumn. Spawning brooks, and browns, and amped up wild rainbows eating trout eggs. Then throw in bow hunting for deer and turkeys, and October does not have enough days in the month.
