On this episode, I continue the 1979 Peterbilt build and install the fuel tank on the passenger side and do some work on the gauges Авто/Мото
I'm a disabled driver, drove for 28 years. Love those 359 petes. been watching since you stared. Makes me want to get out and run that freight. Thanks for making an old man smile. Truck looks Awsome keep posting them videos.
So close now!! Those new guages look great!
Truck looks amazing can’t believe how far it’s come amazing work. Keep it up
I agree
Devyn Wickwar Took the words right out of my mouth
I love the truck and what you've done but more than anything I like the way you have shared it in these videos. This is by far the best set of progress videos I have watched, no annoying music, no 30 seconds of razamatazz at the start, just wonderful quiet informative entertainment. Love your work.
Little by little. Nice work
I loved the hardwood floors you put in your truck so much I went out and bought hardwood flooring for my 351 Pete!!!
Coming along nicely
Love the music in the vids love that old country music, especially the old boys gang,
She’s standing tall. You have done a awesome job and haven’t jury rigged anything. Quality workmanship 👍
I've really been enjoying this series, and it's great to see the old girl looking almost new again. Fantastic job with the fix-up!
Takes me back to when I was a kid. Used to ride with my dad during the summer months he was driving a 77 352 cabover Pete. I miss that truck. Now that I’ve been driving myself for awhile now. I would love to find an old cabover for myself. Preferably an old 352. Maybe someday. Lol
Little by little. Great job!
I’m loving the small time lapse segments too!
That truck is already a thing of beauty... can't wait for you to get her on the road.👍
Beautiful truck, thanks for sharing your progress. I like watching this more than cable TV.
Beautiful truck
She's coming along brother man. I want to salute you for your diligence and your patients on this build.👍👍👍
Raymond Bradley it’s easy when it’s your passion ... glad you’re enjoying the vids 😁
Nice pickup 😁👍
L B L looks good without a wash, even better with a wash. Good video.
I've always loved trucks but have never even sat in one. I do enjoy watching your journey.
I'm a truck driver in Korea. I support your efforts.
Piękny trak
It's really looking good twin sticks, can't wait to see the finished product. Good luck.
It's crazy seeing the process. That truck has come a long way. I would've went crazy months ago.
The old girl is coming along in leaps and bounds you should be proud of all the hard work you've done twiny, jus Ty great to see
I'm in Australia, where Paccar decided this would be Kenworth country (they are manufactured here) and no Peterbilts will ever be sold. A few smart guys imported Pete parts to change their Kennies. We are as you Canadians were until pre WW2 right hand drive. Love your patience!
Every video has me in disbelief on how far you have come with her! Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing. 😎👍🏼
The old girl came a long way!
Looks sharp! She is almost ready for the road.
Looks very nice very sharp.👍✅
every time more beautiful! 👌🏻
Nice work 🙌
Very nice!!!!!!
Look8n good 👍👍
Starting to look good in am still watching and waiting for the big day when we can all take a ride together you are truly blessed to be able to do all the work yourself keep up the good work
Looking good. Can't wait for the final product.
Truck is looking awesome, big difference from what you started with. Keep up the great work man
There you go lad, one task at a time. I liked the time lapse of the tank install, reminded me of "Hammy" from "Over the Hedge" ( the squirrel on coffee beans ). She's looking good and getting there nicely, won't be long now when she goes from the "imagination" to the actual road. Keep safe and keep rolling! Cheers!
Things shinning now! can't believe the change already youve come so far can not wait too see it finished!
That Pete is looking really good brother.
Been watching all these episodes. Can't wait to see it on the highway.
Very good.
She's lookin good.👍 You finally got the other tank installed.Awesome !
Nice one fella you’re back 👍 that truck is looking fabulous. Good job as always stay safe fella. Regards from south London England 🏴
Great job my friend . She’s come a long way .Thanks for all the sweat and hard work it took to keep that old gal out of the scrappers hands. It’s guys like you and I that keep the awesome old heavy duty Peterbilt masterpieces alive and well. They just don’t make them like that anymore . You should be proud . So glad you kept the two sticker in it . I cut my eye teeth on a 4 an 4
Mike Mayfield ya she’s a pretty special truck ... the tow truck driver who brought it home offered to put an 18spd in it for me and I laughed and told him the sticks were the reason I bought the truck 😂
359 TwinSticks nothing like old school shifting .
Wow!! She’s really coming along. Good job, Man.
👍👌👏 again and as always!
G’day it’s great to see how far you have come on the restoration of her, the twin tanks really look the part and you can imagine what she will be like when it’s completed, good on ya mate I love watching the progress videos that you do thanks for filming it kind regards John Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺
Looks like she's 3 coats of wax away from getting back on the highway. Top effort, she does you proud.
Saudações do sul do Brasil.
Truly a labor of love
Looks awesome,
Buff the paint, paint the front fenders, polish the steps, and horsecollar then she will be really pretty
Wyatt Sperry it’s in the plan ... actually I have some newer fibreglass fenders I’m planning on installing in a future episode 👍
Awesome,, your gonna get me to buy another truck... love em... keep them coming!!!!
Awesome
Soon you'll be ready to go with it, it's looking really nice . Great video besafe God bless you and your family.

Highlight of my Friday night, thanks for the update of my favorite build!
Saw that Waylon decal in the sleeper window. Nice!
Truck looking good keep up the good work
Awesome LBL...

Ola amigo que bien cada vez mejor ...estas creando un hermoso mounstruó de las carreteras te felicitó
really taking shape now, make sure you show us all the ins and outs of making those new wiring harness's....keep up the good work ...
getting there and looking good! i did a ih 9300 over
Doing an amazing job man, doin work. She’s lookin good
keep up the good work
Hey man be careful with the background music. RUclips's algorithm can be a f**kin b***h and I really don't want to see you get a copyright strike.
P.S Keep up the great videos.
Fuck RUclips. I get a copyright strike all the time.
Yeah, I've had that happen on a couple of my videos, but so far it just meant I couldn't monitize the video. It did not affect my standing. But, good advice in any case not to have tunes playing in the background.
That’s what I got, they took it down
Nice work
I was just watching the video he posted recently then this popped up, she's looked good man.
👍👍👍👍
Seat belts...my old 1996 Western Star 4964 heritage...came with lap belts...I would send you mine..but I'm using for my 93 frt cabover...wreckers usually have old school stars.
Looking good brother!!! Hello from Iowa
So far so great ! ✅
Lookin' real good. It's coming together nicely. :)
At least here in the states you used to be able to buy a universal speedometer cable kit that you could cut to fit your vehicle. Yeah I know that was in the 70s.
Old pet would be a good name for that rig
I was a pro truck aluminum polisher for a time,..359 is the best looking rig ever made ,don't know how they drive-work though
cool
Looking great. Making wire harnesses will be the easiest thing you’ve done so far.
If you were to stretch the frame of the truck,to add a 300 inch supersingle wheel base;with a stand up walk-in 120 inch sleeper, every yearly annual truck shows;like the NATHS Chrome 75 truck show,or the Macgungie,Pennsylvania NATHS truck show;you can tell all the other truckers: "I've got a really nice house (truck) with a nice hard wood floor".😂
If you do have to drop that tank again, if you air up the cab or jack it up a little, you can get a standard impact and extension on it. takes some finessing to get the right angle on it but it is possible.
I hear you listening to to Waylon Jennings a lot . Trucks name should be Waylon blues!
Hello I watch your video you doing awesome job fixing on your blue big rig truck
Looking good 👍👌.
Great job as usual!
Little by little
Hey 359 TwinSticks. Been watching the build since the first episode. Coming along well. Could get some upholstery cleaner and hard bristle brush for the seat belt to clean up a bit. Just a suggestion. Keep the vids coming love them
Comming along nice
Yup... Yup.... I'm definitely still jealous..
Love the glitter twin sticks. I drove an old kenworth that had white glitter twins
she's comin together bud, I still can't believe how far you've come. Makes me want to spend money I don't have on a W900L. When you pull that wiring harness out you should walnut shell blast the underside of the fenders and paint them with either black bed liner or normal paint (nip that rust in the butt).
Moparmadman69 life’s too short to not restore some old iron 😂 no worries on the old rusty fenders ... I have some new to me fibreglass ones I plan to put on in a future episode 👍
I still remember the episode where you put all those new air lines in....god it looks nice seeing all those new air lines in :) your doing great work brother, your in the homestretch with her! Get those headlights in and that tach working and you should be good!!! Keep it up! LBL!
👍🏼
Looks good
Get a load of quarry process and put it down you won't have a mud problem any longer. It's pretty cheap.
@359 TwinSticks as long as the song clips are under 30 seconds your fine. Also your not using them in the video, they are playing on a radio in the background being broadcast to open air in public. They wont ding you for it. Now if you used it as like an into to your videos, that's a different story. I've used Jerry Reed in some of my video intros and the videos have been up for a few years. Never had a problem. Just remember everyone on youtube is an expert on everything... esp copyright law and youtube algorithms lol
Yea man !!This is almost ready it's looking nice love to project You know what would make it look a little cooler ?If you stretch the frame like 1 or 2 feet but maybe in the future when it's completely in running conditions.
Gaia Alfa haha a friend of mine is a top shelf welder and he told me he’ll add 24” to the frame if I let him drive it 😂
@@TwinStix Well If I was you I would be like yea go right ahead drive this beauty😀😉
7:56 His version of easy and fun
draw sketch gaming 😂 relatively speaking ... installing that tank under the sleeper was a PITA
And I Watched Your Video And I Liked The Video And I Give Your Video A Thumps Up And I AreReady Watch The Video And You Have A Good Day And Be Safe
