Nothing on the television even comes close to the quality of this channel. No political narrative, just meeting people and enjoying the beauty of this great blue planet.
I have been providing free medical assistance in those very villages for almost 5 years now. Humping those roads with my nurse on a 25 year old Yamaha 650. thanks for filming this, have always wished I could share the experience but it’s not in our budget. Rainy season is starting early this year so we are already back in the mud.
So wonderful that you were able to show the kids your drone and give them a bird’s eye of their spectacular mountain top home. I’m sure that will be an everlasting memory for them
I can't sit down to eat without watching one of your videos, I admire you a lot Noraly, you are a very beautiful person physically and spiritually, I hope that God always accompanies you on your travels, I am Latino from costa rica
One of the most heartwarming things I've ever seen. Such kind people, the beauty of the land, the joy and the struggle of riding and then to end it off with you teaching two adorable kids Spanish. Depression makes it hard to feel sometimes, but this went straight to the heart. Thank you
Thank you, Smit, for your comment. Noraly's heartwarming and uplifting attitude that comes from the bottom of the soul defeats depression and goes straight to the heart, like you said.
It never ceases to amaze me, the kindness and generosity of people around the world, who have so little, by our standards and yet, give it freely to strangers. Very humbling. Your travels and films have literally made me see the world in a different way and I thank you for that.
@@davericketts9101 I have travelled to more than 80 countries in the world and you can see it everywhere. I've been invited to people's houses a lot especially in the middle east, 90% of the time it's poor people.
@@sayuas4293 Yes. And I learned long ago not to confuse wealth with rich and think of what many believe are "poor" people. Financial richness is so different than spiritual richness. One is not a garantee of happiness. The other mostly brings happiness and peace and harmony. I think. @@boogiedownbronx73 I didn't mean people were not generally nice, I was just saying this it is not the prevailing thing you hear about other countries. All I heard about Japanese people where how strict the fathers were, and how they all worked long hours, etc. Then I lived there for 12 years and found out they are just like everyone else. Kind, generous, and not the rigid people they were always portrayed as.
Well, I must confess, seeing how the folks lived at the end on the mountain really was a touching moment. Some may say they have it rough, but in my eyes they are living life! Stunning mountain views, clean air and not jammed up next to anyone!! This one really was a great episode!! As I've said before, some of the best content on RUclips! Safe travels!
With this episode I realized that spiritualy you are a love generator maybe you know this already, being a love generator the children felt that in you so they stayed close beautiful
The children were sweet and so excited to be around you. You made a lifetime memory for them. They will always remember you. Pretty Special for all of you! safe travels
I'm constantly amazed at how easy you seem to find and pursued total strangers to help you, you are so resilient. Such admiration for you Noraly. I really had no idea what these countries were actually like, and you bring them into my home. :) Amazing footage congratulations, loved it. take care.
It is not about pursueding strangers to help her. In those poor countries the people are willing to help. Its like an big event for them. Most people, even in the richer countries, are friendly and want to help. But the more you wander/travel the the poor countries the more you will see, that their helpfulness will increase big time.
RUclips needs to have a special big thumb just for Noraly. You give off such positive energy wherever you go & people instantly warm to you. Amazing....🥰
Yes, her contribution to make the world a global village bringing people together & beyond race, religion and egos/ envy is amazingly immeasurable.Hats off,Noraly.. ❤️
Noraly in all your travels throughout numerous countries, you are the closest thing to a Superhero many of these kids will ever see. A pretty blonde lady, from a faraway land, who rides through rivers and mountains and deserts alone, dressed in a special costume with a magic red motorbike and a wonderous bird that flies in the sky and lets you see what it can see. You can't get any more Superhero than that! You are a true Superhero to so many Noraly. God Bless and watch over you. Let's Go!
These thoughts are about what I was thinking after watching this video-but you said it much better than I could. This one made my eyes leak a little. Godspeed Noraly!!
Yes, what lovely people! And, he Ixil family where you stayted the night - The curiosity of children is found everywhere! Beautiful country, as well -- the children will long remember your visit and the drone. Maybe some day, they'll have one of their own! Because of the people, one of the nicest videos recently, and no "damage" or calamity getting up the mountain - "top of the world" no doubt. Cheers!
For some reason I like coming back to visit the Ixil episodes-there’s just something So endearing about their way of life and ability to keep their culture. ♥️
Another top episode from Noraly... and we learn some new things again. For me, I was touched by the family that played the Xylophone for you. Hospitality and family activities like that seem to be going extinct in richer countries. The other was the lengths Elena and her people went to help you. Such cute and innocent kids! Faith in humanity restored, once again!
The absolute selfless generosity of the Ixil family restores my faith in humanity. The son, without a thought, hefting massive rocks in his Sunday best to help you cross the mud is beyond wonderful. You make me want to visit every place you've visited (except the bandit road... I'll pass on that one)
For 40 plus years I have been spending time in Guate, I have done most of central America on a dirt bike so I really connect to your youtube channel. Thank you for sharing, you show why I love the Guatemalteco so much. Stay safe and stay free! If you come back to Atitlan come to Posada de los volcanes in Pana and I will make you a latte and some latino food with a Canadian twist...peace.
My dear Pana. I definitely know where you're located in town. :) Lived with a family across the street from the church for 3 years, after living and doing some grant writing work in San Marcos departamento (quite possibly my favorite place on earth) and then at a language hostel in Antigua to brush up on my Spanish for 6 weeks before settling in Pana. The family I lived with are now my family, in every sense but genetic. 💙🇬🇹💙
The Ikil people seem charming! Elena and her husband seemed like kind, with a sense of humor and the kids at the place you are staying are curious but not too clingy. Have fun here!
Your love for Xela is obvious and a future visit is a good plan. Elena and her family were so amazing and helpful. The welcome with a marimba was so precious and I am so glad we could also share in it. Yoohoo what an awesome ride up that hill. The Ixil home and the little children is very special. Thank you Itchy Boots for exposing us to this remote family. Loved the drone footage of the beautiful countryside.
Oh wow, what wonderful scenery you've shared with us on this episode. Those children are so warm, adorable and welcoming to you. There was one commenter who said that they saw in the little girl's eyes that one day she would want to do what you are doing. I hope everything lines up right in her life and also in her brother's life for many opportunities to open up to them. Not to forget that earlier family that assisted you to find your host family. I enjoyed very much that man's way of giving directions. I could listen to him the whole day, with the slowness but formidable authority and clarity he describes those directions almost as though he knows that you will get what he says in one go without needing to repeat himself. And that name Miguel Gallego, wow, love it. Oozes power, especially the way that man giving you directions said it.
The Ixil Maya have endured so much. It very meaningful that you sought them out in friendship and publish here how wonderful they are. Plus, this was a fun riding and vista video!
It’s difficult to describe the power reflected in this video - in the human connections that simply inspire hope in humanity. It’s not hyperbole to say your are an ambassador to the world. You leave an indelible mark in the hearts and minds of those you encounter. It’s a privilege to watch the videos you share.
The ixil (Ishil) region is a stunning mountainous place. What a stupendous job you did capturing it’s beauty, of both nature and its people! You outdid yourself, bravo!
Noraly, you are truly an ambassador of good will and I’m sure those children will remember you for a lifetime. You exposed them to a drone which I’m willing to bet they have never seen or may be didn’t know of their existence. Pure delight in seeing their faces. Thanks
This episode made me cry! I dont know why. The ending, the view was just so amazing! It reminded me of my host family in Costa Rica. I miss living there the people, the food, the hospitality. That wooden house at the end was awesome that is a dream, with a view like that! WOW. Good luck on your travels.
I really don’t know how you do it Noraly?… international explorer taking us to places we would never otherwise see and a top class cinematographer producing high class beautifully edited films whilst working in such out of the way places, absolutely amazing. Those final drone shots were truly the icing on the cake…. Thank you 🙏
After exploring the planet for more than 40 years...Nothing is more enlightening and fulfilling at the age of 60, watching my crops grow in my small unknown mountain village... Home where my heart and soul is and will be. Live Long N Prosper 🖖
Your hosts for the night are absolutely adorable, Natives worldwide are like this, hospitable and willing to share their humble homes with travelers. I found this to be true in Borneo, Irian Jaya, New guinea and the Aborigines of outback Australia. I look forward to your next "no plan" instalment. That's how I traveled the globe... no plan on a bike... 3 decades ago. The memories are standing me in good stead in my dotage.
Our family LOVES Noraly! She really scratched our itch with this outstanding video! Even though none of us have actually met Noraly- she has become a family favorite. We all LOVE you Itchy Boots! Let's go!
I totally emerged myself in your videos. Especially at the end, the drone video was captivating. It totally took me out of my world into yours.Thankyou. I needed that break.
This is great. Another example of believing in people rather than believing in television programs taken as a "human life manual". Best of luck and a virtual hug to you Noraly. Safe travels always!
Never ceases to amaze me how industrious the human condition is, looking at the landscape it seems inhospitable but there they are with roads and modern construction
I've found myself holding my breath unconsciously when those drone views came up, absolutely stunning, this world is so incredibly beautiful. Drones have really changed the way we see our world, we can really see how immense it is and how tiny little being we are.
Noraly, just wonderful. Perhaps odd, but the thought occurred that you are a modern day Marco Polo, on a journey of discovery, travelling a day at a time, documenting and sharing a world most of us will never experience, yet are amazed to come to know through your eyes. Thank you.
Yes. And I also love the wonderful glimpse that Noraly provides of what 'others' in the world, who look quite different, can be like! Isn't she a lovely "ambassador?"
The children were enamored with your company. What a joy for them to have you in their company. I'm sure they loved the drone also. God Bless you in your travels.
You quickly forget where you are when you are watching this incredible journey...you feel as if you are right there in the environment. This is without any doubt the worlds BEST travel adventure series ever produced. Noraly you are an amazing vlogger producer host with perfect photography and video production .You are brave and we need this ...the world needs to see your videos to understand humanity is one and all together, and that the world through your eyes is a wonderful place. All the best and be safe ...you were born to do this. many thanks Noraly. Best Wishes. Cygna6
The towns look like great places to explore, the 'International Guides' were lovely, kind, and so, so helpful, and the countryside is just stunning. As for that trip up and down the mountains, what an absolute blast!! The drone shots at the end were the icing on the cake. The vantage point which that drone gives you and everyone watching, really does help to show just how beautiful the places are that you are travelling through. I love the shot with the drone going through the cloud. Fantastic stuff.
Fabulous episode. Such generous, warm and genuine people assisting you on your way and at your destination. You would have been a treat for those sweet curious children. I bet they loved you and the drone. Spectacular way to live. Healthy air, off-grid, pure food and water-they are living life well. Oh Noraly, this is so much more than a bike ride to Alaska ... it's our connection with each other and our beautiful planet. You are a true messenger of all things good.
Can you imagine in the future sometime, when Noraly publishes an autobiography what an amazing page turner it will be?? I hope I'm still around when it happens. I'm just over 20 years older than her and I can't see her sitting still to pen a book anytime soon.
I suspect Noraly will follow in Elspeth Beard's foot-steps, probably go quite for awhile, work on her other life Adventures, then publish a book or start a tour company. Noraly is a very accomplished adventurer. But if you tally up all her travel, well over 10 years backpacking and motorcycling. And one thing I do have experience in living out of a bag, however much adventure, it just gets old.
@@jwcgroup You're right. I googled real quick before I start work. She died in 1904. So she potentially had 2 years to ride a Royal Enfield!! 😅 I'll definitely read up on her some time today. Thanks!
What a season so far. There are so many nice people in this world. Every episodes help restore my faith in humanity and I wonder how many have been inspired by Noraly. I can see in Elena's eyes that she wants to do this one day herself. I know I am inspired!
WOW! The thrilling uphill ride and the majestic drone shots! It's mazing what you can experience in one day, with a little help from your new friends! A spectacular episode Noraly!
That which manifests joy finds joy. Each time I think, "her trip can't get any better than this" Noraly proves me wrong. Alabanza a ti, for reaching another mountain top.
What a fantastic ride up in the remote areas of Guatemala! Thank you Noraly for highlighting the remote , indigenous cultures of Central America. Many travelers just highlight the big cities and beaches. You are choosing to get to know very humble people who make up a large portion of Guatemala. All the best on your journey and safety.
Just amazing the people you meet Noraly , so friendly . And not having electricity for 2 years must have been a shock at first , but they just get on with their lives , those children will always remember that blonde lady who visited them on her motorcycle, you’ll be talked about for many years , great video. Well done 👍
I doubt there would be too many adventure riders around the world, who are not inspired by your adventures. You are the epitome of what it means to simply "get out there", and do it. Ride safe. Live long.🤠
You are truly an excellent ambassador for mankind, Noraly. And you certainly prove that "it's not a matter of what you know, but who you know" that get you places. Honourable, indeed!
My daughter currently on her way to Guatemala thru Mexico...so jealous of you both .looks an amazing place! Thank you so much for letting us see your travels... somewhere many of us will never see with our own eyes! Stay safe! 🌞
26 years ago I moved to US and had no idea how beautiful the mountain region is in my old country, I love the way you enjoy riding those country side roads, I like to say thank you for taking us with you on every ride, this time is so special for me because you are showing to the world my dear old Country of Guatemala. Thank so much.
Thanks Noraly. You are showing us bits of the real world, where common people live in peace. Where you are helped by someone you have never seen before.Where children play outdoors and have fun with their pets. It’s a message of high intensity. Common people are against and type of war.
What a home stay! Fantastic flight ... beautiful mountains and I cannot imagine the steepness of the road. Glad the hairpins were enjoyable and not troublesome. The children were cute and curious to say the least. The book and kids was a favorite part of mine Noraly.
Oh Noraly ! This whole episode was spectacular from start to finish. What an amazing place you've shown us here on this big ol' ball of dirt we call earth. Those children were just darling. The drone shots breath taking as well. As always,,,,, stay safe young lady
Noraly, you, Alaska, Ikil community in remote Guatemala and the two kids who really like you. You are so gracious and everything is amazing! Three cheers to you, Noraly a.k.a. Itchy Boots.
Just amazing Noraly. That “International Escort” (Family) was more than willing to have escorted you to your destination. At least the 1st family or community..? What REALLY nice, warm people. Stay safe!
Another outstanding episode , what awesome people , so humble and giving. The scenery… oh my I could sit and look out over those mountains forever. 💕oh yes those kids are the cutest little people 😃
Hello, Noraly . I Continue follow & watching you, since you started your journey from New Delhi (India). I like your boldness, strength, courage, and crazy Ness. Love your from India
Noraly - you have opened the eyes of those two young children (especially) to the larger world we all live in! Assuming they saw the point of view from that drone footage - their perception of where they are living is forever expanded! I doubt they (or most of the local folks) will ever see themselves from thousands of feet above the terrain! That's mind boggling and just a part of the mutual exchange taking place in your interactions with the people you are visiting. Thanks for sharing all this - and yourself!
You are a wonderful person, Noraly. The way to treat everyone with courtesy shows you are a noble person. I am madly in love with your videos. Take good care and Godspeed.
Oh Noraly, this one just filled my heart. Due to the children , I hope you showed them the drone footage and the view of their home beyond their village . Not to make them want to leave, but to allow them the visibility of what is beyond. You touch all of us, and people you meet, but to have children following you is precious .. more than a jewel... it is precious because they are our future and they WANT to learn. You have unknowingly affected our future in an amazing way, by sharing your energy with these babies . Big feels on this episode. Xx
Another utterly fantastic video from our favorite, fearless adventurer and videographer! This really helps to put into proper perspective how much so many of us take for granted living in First World countries. THANK YOU, Noraly, you are simply amazing!!
🔝🔝🔝 those kids will keep forever imprint in their memories you, a Blound blue eyes princess arriving from far distance & going even much far by her self, never to be forgotten by them! Just how amazing is your adventure DNA taking you all alone to those lost places and to found such a paradise view. Noraly you are an awesome peace warrior 💐🌸🎖
Not taking anything away from the spirit of your comment - it's a little cringy everytime I see a comment on how the poor natives will remember a "blond blue eyed princess". Noraly is a wonderful person with an infectious personality. They'll remember that for sure - I doubt it'll be because of the color of her hair or eyes. No intention of starting a debate on this - but sometimes seen from the eyes of someone else, it does seem a little patronizing - maybe even a little of unintentional "w savior" syndrome. Operative word - unintentional.
WOW !! WOW !! .... words escape me - the heart of the world through a Dutch Lady Traveler ... this proves a smile is understood everywhere ... and your time with those two wee-ones is an episode they will always remember and have to guide them ... what a legacy to leave ... Ride On !!
Those children are precious! And you can be thankful that a TV screen separates you from all of us, your viewers. I have a feeling we'd be following you just as closely IRL as those sweet little ones!
I feel humbled when I see how giving and good people can be . I would not be able to leave there until I offered to use my skills to floor that home for them and insulate it . They have done a fine job so far in the construction but a floor would keep the walls from warping and growing mold . The kids melted my heart God bless them and their family . PK
All what the family needs, is money. They need the funds to purchase the materials to make their home a better place. And to purchase a HONDA generator to power their home. And I mean HONDA generator only. They good, reliable, quiet, economically to run but expensive to buy…!!!
On the bright side - a good opportunity to take it easy. Your hostess extended such a warm welcome to the best of her ability. I'll bet you were the highlight of her day! Hope you enjoyed it. The trip up there was awesome.
I made this comment when you visited the Rama of Nicaragua, and I have cut it and with a slight change I pasted it here, because I feel the same when you are with the Ixil family: "the more you go to the backroads of civilization with Alaska where few have gone before, the emotions just keep getting stronger and stronger inside me how wonderful you are as a human, Noraly, thank you so much for being you and sharing your a-ma-zing adventures. And even more THANKS for your care for the indigenous peoples of Panama and now Nicaragua" (and now Guatemala)
In 1971, I spent a week in Guatemala City and never got to go into the mountains as you are here. I really regret that, but I am glad that you always connect with the children. Those kids are awesome and we can tell that you are good with kids! Such a blessing to see the country and the people through your travels. Thank you!
In the 70s and 80s, the interior of the country was marred with an undeclared Civil War, and was not as safe to travel. The military had created a distrust of foreigners in those communities
Oh wow! What an interesting day! It’s a little bit icky looked like an understatement. The steepness and mud were handled with your great skills! Loved the family and your little shadows. I. Sure they were in awe of the pretty Dutch girl visiting their home. Beautiful video...thanks so much for taking us along🙌🏻
The children will remember Noraly's visit the rest of their lives. She will also be a legend in their eyes. She has the biggest heart! The beauty of the mountainous area was spectacular to see with the drone. What a beautiful country! Wishing you more safe travels Noraly. Thank you for giving us this gift of traveling our planet through your eyes and ears.
Thanks Itchy Boots for the extra efforts required to stay overnight and show us this charming indigenous mountain house. Loved the cooking fire, wood walls and the smiles of your host families. Thanks for the drone view above this beautiful wooded landscape. These mountains are changing in shape, not only volcanic now, but block faulted as well and heavily eroded from the active convergent and transform crustal interactions and the rain. Big thanks!
Amazing country, amazing scenery, amazing friendly people and amazing riding! This was fantastic Noraly, I loved watching this. Your editing is first class and the drone shots just show what a beautiful landscape this country has. Brilliant, thankyou x

Very pretty scenery, and lovely people, I am always amazed and appreciative of all these warm and helpful people you encounter in all your travels. After many years as a Deputy Sheriff, it is truly pleasant to see more good people than the not-so-good folks out there.
That is the kind of people that you will find in most of the country, Unfortunately if you go to Guatemala city there are really bad places which are the ones that most news talk about, but I am so grateful for Noraly that she gets to show the real great side of Guatemala!!
My husband and I love your videos. Thank you for taking us along with you on your adventure in Latin America. I admire you so much because you travel off the beaten path and interact with local people. This last video is amazing! Your drone footage is so beautiful. The scenery is beautiful! I’m glad you had the opportunity to stay with a family. Thank you again!

Steven, I fully agree with you.
Yeah the kids love having her there… an adventure for them

Hats off to you,Bill. You found the best possible words to describe also my feelings, thank you and thank you Noraly!
Your “International Escort” is a legend. What a lovely family.
Yeah they sure went the extra mile for a new friend. So much of the world has lost sight of the pleasure received from helping other's!
@@nzsaltflatsracer8054 Lovely family 💙
Yes, what lovely people! And, he Ixil family where you stayted the night - The curiosity of children is found everywhere!
Beautiful country, as well -- the children will long remember your visit and the drone. Maybe some day, they'll have one of their own!
Because of the people, one of the nicest videos recently, and no "damage" or calamity getting up the mountain - "top of the world" no doubt. Cheers!

Well said ❤️ beautiful scenery, lovely family with cute kids following you 😂 awesome
Your "international escort" is one funny nice man. You've met wonderful people on your travels.
The absolute selfless generosity of the Ixil family restores my faith in humanity. The son, without a thought, hefting massive rocks in his Sunday best to help you cross the mud is beyond wonderful. You make me want to visit every place you've visited (except the bandit road... I'll pass on that one)
The music selection while the drone is flying is so soulful. I had tears in my eyes. This view over the mountains was so impressive.
Likewise - heavenly sights and sounds.
YES!!!!
Do you know the artist and the name of the song so beautiful.
How a u
U have a husband
The extended dirt road riding footage was thrilling, and the drone landscapes stunning.
One of your best, Noraly.
Been following since India. This is one of your best!
That’s my beautiful country thank you to showing me those beautiful pictures keep enjoying be good 👍
Oh wow, what wonderful scenery you've shared with us on this episode.
It was so heart warming to see Noraly reading with the children. The view from their home was spectacular !
The ixil (Ishil) region is a stunning mountainous place. What a stupendous job you did capturing it’s beauty, of both nature and its people! You outdid yourself, bravo!
No wonder those kids are so happy, they have paradise in their backyard.
The sound tracks in this episode .... Me too apparently

You have to admire people living above the clouds with dirt floors and no electricity. And sharing their home with you.
Absolutely. Me and my wife need the “ Noraly pill” thrice a week else we’ll fall sick and depressed 😢. How can we ever thank you Noraly?
The children were enamored with your company. What a joy for them to have you in their company. I'm sure they loved the drone also. God Bless you in your travels.
You quickly forget where you are when you are watching this incredible journey...you feel as if you are right there in the environment.
This is without any doubt the worlds BEST travel adventure series ever produced. Noraly you are an amazing vlogger producer host with
perfect photography and video production .You are brave and we need this ...the world needs to see your videos to understand humanity is one and all together, and that the world through your eyes is a wonderful place.
All the best and be safe ...you were born to do this.
many thanks Noraly.
Best Wishes.

So well put, whole heartedly agree
Can you imagine in the future sometime, when Noraly publishes an autobiography what an amazing page turner it will be?? I hope I'm still around when it happens. I'm just over 20 years older than her and I can't see her sitting still to pen a book anytime soon.
@@MikePara111 correct you are. I just think about what she might include in a book that we don't get to see.
@@selrahc2061 No idea who Elizabeth Bird is. Thanks for giving me something to do when I get down time. (Truck driver)
I believe your search should be for Isabella Bird ... an early day's Noraly traveller - just no Alaska present on her journey 🤣
@@jwcgroup You're right. I googled real quick before I start work. She died in 1904. So she potentially had 2 years to ride a Royal Enfield!! 😅 I'll definitely read up on her some time today. Thanks!
With my family we enjoy watch your adventures in my beautiful country

Just pure beauty everywhere, including the people. The kids will never forget Noraly!
Well done 👍
You are a brave woman hero, we salute you
I doubt there would be too many adventure riders around the world, who are not inspired by your adventures.
We are so blessed that you share your adventures with us. The communities and wonderful families who open their homes are so sweet.

Hello, Noraly . I Continue follow & watching you, since you started your journey from New Delhi (India). I like your boldness, strength, courage, and crazy Ness. Love your from India
@TrUmP AmErIcA thanks
What a wonderful experience for you, but for the children it must be unreal. I'm sure they will always remember you and the technology you have.

Ride On !!
I travelled in the Guatemalan Highlands many years ago. I'm going to show this to my grade 9's tomorrow. Great memories, wonderful people.
Another exciting, beautiful episode!
I don't think the children where you stayed will ever forget you❣
Those children are precious! And you can be thankful that a TV screen separates you from all of us, your viewers. I have a feeling we'd be following you just as closely IRL as those sweet little ones!

@@josephbull2209 Exactly! 🤣😅😂
I feel humbled when I see how giving and good people can be . I would not be able to leave there until I offered to use my skills to floor that home for them and insulate it . They have done a fine job so far in the construction but a floor would keep the walls from warping and growing mold . The kids melted my heart God bless them and their family . PK
Regardless of what the mass media and social media would have us believe, most people are good.
Adorable children , very curious! Amazing trip Noraly , beautiful scenery!

Let God be worshipped!
