- Trying to reach the remote Nakum Mayan ruins turns pear shaped. The track is in horrible condition and part swamp, part mudpit. I get stuck with my motorcycle and then the enormous struggle begins. How am I getting out of here?!

I’ll just put this here - yes, these tyres are not good, I know 😅 In case you missed it when I talk about this before: I cannot get better tires here in the size that I need (nor a little taller, wider etc tires). They are simply not available. Ordering from abroad takes a month or more so is not an option. Trust me, I have looked at ALL the option 😂 That’s just life on the road when you don’t have time to wait somewhere for weeks for tyres, you have to work with what you’ve got 🤷♀️ And no bad tire is holding me back from trying to see some amazing Mayan temples 🤪
Don't Sorry, Just editing my personal considerati One.
In the US you will have them.
vidionya sangat menarik.. sallam kenal saya dari indonesia😊😇
❤️❤️❤️❤️👍👍
Hi! I am a girl and I have a Duke, tires with almost no tread and once I drove onto a dirt road after rain. I had to go uphill, the tires slipped and I constantly filed, bathed in all the puddles, in some of them three times))) I had to lift the motorcycle many times, I was afraid that I would stay on that road forever, I somehow stood on my feet , so tired. But in such cases, now two thick, strong large sticks help me, I use them like levers, a heavy motorcycle can be lifted, even if the wheels are higher than the steering wheel. I recommend taking a small saw or a chain saw with you: you can cut such sticks and firewood.
I’ve been riding motocross and off road for over 40 years and I wouldn’t have attempted what you did on those tires. I was cheering you on the whole time. I bet my neighbors even heard me. The feeling you get when you accomplish something that seems almost impossible is only felt by those who never give up.
Gotta be careful and smart when you start getting that feeling. Epic to watch her finish. Curious to see what type of shit she stirs up in the future!!
So true.
You are one of the bravest people on earth. Middle of the jungle with jaguars running around on a bike with horrible tires yet you keep going. Kudos to you!! Makes for great content! Love it!! Good luck on your journey!!
The jaguars are not the issue. It’s the people.
My family has 20 aces on a river in Honduras adjacent Pico Bonito national park and a resident jaguar on the property... It has been no problem for the one worker living there. I am scared of them though. I was walking with a friend down a path onto the river beach when we heard rustling in bushes surrounding a tree we just walked past. A huge black animal jumped out and bound away from us into the jungle. I am glad I was not alone.
dude what the heck are you talking about, jaguars. There are like 9 jaguars in all of guatemala. lol crazy guy
Jaguars running around 😂😂😂😂😂😂
@@douglasestrada26 I think a just saw a flying pizza behind this bush over there. Look!
I HAVE to say this...i started following your journeys about 6-7 months ago, i have been watched 6 to 8 videos a day, every day, for all those months. You have got to be the toughest, strong minded and most resilient and perseverant person i have ever seen. Your will to move forward regardless of the odds and the obstacles ahead of you is AMAZING! I have seen the ups and downs...I've seen the breakdowns, crashes, border issues, weather problems, etc.. etc... and you handle them all with such a positive attitude. To top it all off....You are fearless! To ITCHY BOOTS, i say this.... You....Are......Inspiring!!!
Thats called an addiction. Seek help, get a life.
Watching 6-7 videos per day 😮
You must need help for sure
Noraly: "Nothing will stop Alaska and me!" Jungle: "Challenge accepted!"
right, when I heard that I said ut oh she should know better than to say that!
Yeah I thought the same thing
Jungle: "Hold my mud bucket"
hmmm me quede preocupada pero confio que estara usted muy bien espero noticias suyas pronto...
@@mariatrau1509 espero que bien ya que me tranquiliza que haya editado el video, buena señal de que regresó bien.
There aren't very many riding adventure series that I watch every rut, rock, and washout mile after mile, season after season. Thanks for demonstrating your grit, resourcefulness, and continuing sense of awe.
The further in Noraly rode, the higher the sun got, I kept thinking "and she's got to ride out of there the same day!" I was on the edge of my chair ducking the brush and grunting along with her. Noraly's determination gave me a calm thought: even with the world in flames we should not give up hope; people like Noraly prove that we're built to overcome the odds, no matter how steep. Thank you for another bright encouraging moment.
This gave me nightmares, just thinking about being alone in the jungle! Hats off to you, the bravest woman I know!
Do Jaguars eat people?
No one is in a position to criticize the way you ride. You are the one there seeing things firsthand and experiencing the conditions. Your determination is inspiring.
That's not how life works.. Sometimes being challenged by others is how you learn. Being told you are doing great even when you're not isn't going to make themselves better. As long as the person is giving constructive criticism its all fair game.. Being a jack ass and just saying you cant ride stop already or you are too weak to do this!! Does she make lots of mistakes, yes, does she learn from them yes.. Will people call her out on things she's doing wrong.. Yep because she putting this out for the world to see and not expecting pushback isn't how it works. Challenge yourself.. take on the people who criticize don't live a life expecting people to just tell you want you want to hear.
yes, it's very easy to bash when sitting on a sofa front of computer ... Riding alone far from habits is something !!! I did it, even paid iI won't go riding these places with the adventure joke tires...but i'm more impressed by your actioncams weight on helmet and bike all gears... even if they are light, one+one+one makes an heavy bike at the end. NOt considering the mental charge to take care of it, the backups, the editing, etc...
Too many keyboard warriors, probably never attempted anything like this in their lifetime. But think they have expertise on how to tackle a situation sat on their arse at home! lol
Another cliffhanger!
Will Noraly find the ruins?
Will she escape the Jaguars?
Will Alaska ever be clean again?
Stay tuned for our next thrilling episode.
The jaguars will miss her badly when she stops cuddling them and moves on. 🥺
Same Bat Time Same Bat Channel
You are hard one.😯
Normally I HATE cliffhangers (especially on YT), but in this case it is justified and the right kind of cliffhanger.
I'm afraid I have to admit something ; Noraly has been one of my greatest inspirations in motorcycling, have loved all of her adventures, etc, but it's time for me to admit, I have a huge crush on her ;)
It takes a lot of courage to travel alone on such dangerous jungle roads. 👍
Courage? I have another word for it.
@@DoStuff1958 So⁉️

You are the bravest!! Bike stuck in the mud in the middle of the jungle alone!! I would’ve panicked already! 😂😂
I’m so impressed with your tenacious and fearless spirit, Noraly. As an armchair explorer, I’m grateful that you share your adventures in such detail. I found myself holding my breath watching your struggle to free Alaska from the clutches of the jungle mud. Thank you for demonstrating to the world that adventure awaits for those that are wanting to embrace it. 🙏❤️
That mud was a huge challenge... that you overcame! It's amazing how determined one can be when there is no other option.
I knew you'd make it.
I don't think a jet engine would make much difference in this case she just doesn't have the traction!! All the best from Surrey BC Canada
@@dennisbailey4296 Oh, I was talking to my screen again: saying "just a bit more speed... don't stop!", but I again reminded myself how Noraly has ridden more than half the planet with remarkably few crashes, and she has never been stopped.
That's mighty impressive!
This was intense. I am glad you didn't have to spend the night with the jaguar on the jungle floor. Good Lord what a journey.
When the going gets tough, Noraly keeps going!!! The jungle throws its worst at her, she throws it back and keeps on riding. What a legend!!
Err don't tempt fate people can and do lose their lives going into very remote places with no back up. Weather, conditions and equipment can all go pear shaped meaning people struggle to stay alive then it becomes a question of survival and how good your problem solving is and whether you make the right decisions to get out alive and in one piece. As I say people do die, perish because they got into a situation they couldn't get out of.
"It's the most stuck I have ever been"
Doesn't turn back.
Keeps forging ahead.
A true adventurer.
Yeah after recovering that I would’ve noped the hell out of there haha
Going through that jungle one way and all the struggles, knowing you got to do the same thing all over again on the way out! Mental and physical strength - you're a tough cookie!! 💪💪😊
Go girl, Go!!! You're amazing!!!
My heart beats so fast when watching this video.
Thank you inspiring me to pursue my goals despite the obstacles 💪🏽
Absolute mad respect! In awe of your perseverance, self-reliance & problem solving while also filming and keeping a positive mindset. Salute you Noraly! You are an adventurer and explorer of great grit & skills.
My sentiments exactly!
Well said, could not agree more👍
God’s angels are working overtime to keep you and your adventure alive! 🙏🏼
I have a crfl 300 and had it stuck in deep mud. It’s heavy to maneuver. Took me an hour as I dropped it a few more times during the process. At the end I was completely covered in mud and exhausted. Noraly is an impressively strong young lady!
Props on the great recovery out there! Goes to show all your experience you've gained on your journeys.
You're smart and knowledgeable already as we all know. But the cleverness of switching your way of thinking into creativity with the front brake and the survival instinct being active and the trust and strength and also determination you have in yourself got you out of it as well. Glad you showed this as well in the video. An eyeopener for many people, for sure!
The frustration of being a pillion passenger with Norely is being unable to help her get Alaska out of the mud when she’s taken you into some bizarre swamp area. Great video, wouldn’t have missed it for anything.
My first thought, too, wish I was there to help her.
I was yelling use the big sticks she found as leverage to slide the bike.
@@gb7168 ::: she’s not like us and that’s the exciting of things…!!!
Sabes como Guatemalteco estoy orgulloso de ti, estas conociendo lugares que muchos no conocemos y no son documentados. Gracias por permitirnos viajar contigo.
I keep thinking of bike breakdown, flat tyre before every normal ride, here the queen is riding in Guatemalan jungle full of wild animals and I no help around. I bow down to you queen.
Thank you for sharing your struggles with us Noraly, stay safe!
Noraly you are such a brave lady, And I am increasingly impressed with how you always have such a good mood and positive attitude to all the challenges you face, no matter how big or impossible they may seem. These muddy jungle roads remind me of my childhood in Paraguay and all the bad roads we come cross. I have now seen all your videos and am very impressed with how you always manage to meet the challenges in such a positive way.
Noraly be safe.. take care. I appreciate your efforts to bring us this beautiful videos around the world... Huge fan.
I always wonder how you stay in shape , now I know 🤪
Take good care dear friend ❤️.
Honestly, it's amazing what you're doing. Such an inspiration.
I been following you for some years Noraly.... you may have had more difficult challenges, real or perceived, shown on film or not, but being stuck like that was the first time I had concern you might have hit the limit. Massive respect to you. I show my young daughters your videos and I know they are inspired.
You are one of the most fearless and enthusiastic explorers I've ever followed. You are also a great teacher teaching your viewers unexplored geographical areas in Central America. I love watching you, Noraly. Stay safe and sound. By the by, get rid of those tires from Alaska as soon as possible. That recovery of Alaska from the mud pool was incredible.Last but not the least, that huge animal you noticed knew well that it’s Noraly, the go getter and that’s why it doesn’t wished to appear in front of you 😄
Maybe not so smart either???
@@kleerogers New to this channel, Amundsen?
HUGE respect! Not only your grit and ability to keep calm and fully functioning in these situations, but your skill …… and most importantly your willingness to keep filming and showing not only the good but also all your struggles. You are a legend.
after watching this episode, you are my wonder woman & superwoman! may you be blessed & safe in all your travels! i love you!
Absolutely massive respect for that recovery and for continuing on. 👏💪👏💪 Super impressive and what an adventure.
Incredible courage and stamina. In light of all the troubles that she encountered on the journey she still had the peace of mind and ability to give a meaningful commentary as she rode on.
Please please be safe, route was really scary , and with unsuitable tyres Alaska performed well, & no words to describe your skill, courage
Always praying for your safety
I think, "Please be safe" was left with her luggage.
You are an amazing person & motorcyclist!
Thank you for the adventure.
I just love your determination and spirit! If something goes sideways you just get back on your feet and try again till you succeed. Amazing :)
You have 'true grit' Noraly. That was a tough ride for sure and looks like more to come. And then after that you edit the footage into a gripping video with the most fantastic and appropriate music to match. Thank you for another great watch... ❤️
I blame the Mayan's myself, fancy building somewhere at the end of a long muddy track like that 😛
Although you didn't help yourself when you tempted fate at 08:55 with your challenge of "nothing will stop Alaska and Me".
The jungle was bound to answer with "you asked for it".
Great video.
This video brought back so many memories of doing geophysical surveying in the Gran Chaco in norther Paraguay. We were surveying along lines cut into the bush & the terrain was just like this. We spent many a happy hour digging our vehicles out of the mud. All the vehicles had winches, but the nearest suitable anchor would always be just beyond the end of the cable. Sometimes we just had to sit and wait for the Aguatero to come by. If it looked really boggy, we'd stop and investigate, and then out with the machetes and cut a bypass. God bless & safe travels Noraly.
Increible scenery, stamina and perseverance....my hat to you..🎩🎩🎩🎩
We are speechless with this episode. You are incredible and a very intrepid adventurer! We can hardly imagine you doing what you are doing. Unbelievable!
I would have turned around after a couple of those mudhole. Kudos to you for your tenacity and the armchair motorcyclists have to acknowledge how much you give to your adventures. Take care and keep the videos coming
Just how many of us do you think are arm chair motorcyclists? I have driven heavy full dress motorcycles across small rock strewn streams because I had no choice and many, many other adventures. I bet that there are many motorcyclists, especially older ones like me, that enjoy watching this tenacious young woman go places even the locals wonder about. The only thing I cringe over is when she slows down for some kinds of obstacles when she should plow through. But I'm not there, so in that respect, it is only my experience speaking.
You are the, “Indiana Jane” of backwoods adventures.
Hope Netflix would make a travel Adventure as you go through unimaginable distances around every continent.
Both are fiction, so yes, very similar.
The amount of respect i have for you is indescribable. I love you and all your videos. In my own mind, i am going along with you on your adventure.
My mother-in-law, who was Dutch, often used an expression about a determined Dutchman. After watching this episode I understand what she meant. Love your channel. Take care. Be safe.
It's amazing. Braving swamped trails and jungle cats all at once, and those are only the observed dangers with many more hidden.
Solo into this type of terrain could put oneself into real danger. I did something similar in the desert and was really fortunate help came along. Lesson learned.
Bravo Noraly, you are tenacious. Nothing gets you down and you persevere through all. Amazing and really beautiful videos of Guatemala too.
Oh my. I’m at the edge of my seat all the way through this adventure. Keep safe. I’m a wreck just watching you ….don’t know how your feeling so safe and confident. You are a truly remarkable young lady. ❤
That was an absolutely amazing ride in the middle of the jungle and a lesson in sheer determination, strength, problem solving and guts. Of course Itchy Boots does not give up and takes us on adventures to the remotest areas of earth. Stupendous, thank you!!!
Unbelievable how determined and how tough you are! 9,999 out of 1000 would have turned back very early in that trip. I am totally amazed at your skill.
lol
Isto é que é determinação!👍👍👍👏👏👏
Just beautiful determination well done, you’ll always remember your trip,in beautiful dreams
Incredible how you picked up your heavy bike and made your way through. You are so strong and brave riding through the jungle alone. Admire how driven and cheerful you can be no matter what struggles you face. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing journey. 🤗🥇🌟
It's a light bike which is why she prefers it. 😊
This was the most stressful ride I’ve watched you go through. You are one determined and resourceful woman!!! Your riding abilities are just amazing. I hope to see your get back safely through that swampy mess in the next episode!
You are a very inspiring adventure rider, thank you for taking us along.....
Best scenery ever! Thanks Noraly
Wow, I said it before and I’ll say it again, when the going gets tough, the tough get going. You continue to amaze me with your strength, determination, and grace under stress. If I was ever in a survival situation, I would want you to be the team leader! Most people would have turned around after they got the bike back up, but not you. Power on!
Great adventure! Yaxha, "casa verde" in maya languages means House of green-blue . And the colibrí is called tzunun with the mythical mission of giving messages from the "gods" such as the jaguar or Bolom ( for different regions the words may change a bit). The roads to ancient mayan towns are mostly to be respected in awe of their ceiba trees and vines. I believe that you and alaska made a marvellous work to traverse them. Congratulations It will be a long weekend waiting to see the next episode Gracias Noralita Yaxsit (ojos azules)
Little correction yaxha mean 'agua verde' green water . it is a beautiful green water lagoon in yaxha , full of crocodiles by the way.
Gracias, and True that! HA or Ja would mean water or even body of water ( lake, river). I mixed it up with the word NAH or Ná, which means casa House. A few interpretations apply to YAX both "green and blue" (the hues of turquoise and the pigments of maya ancient murals), but also "sacred, - the first"
Mi admiración por tu valor y coraje y tu esfuerzo es una demostración de superación !!!Te felicito 😀🤗
Happened across this and wow.......wow.... what a woman, her sense of adventure and enthusiasm is a marvel to watch, nothing seems to faze her and she just cracks on. Life is surely about making memories and what memories she will have, bravo x
Hey Noraly , HUUUGE RESPECT for you .As a enduro rider I know that type of terrain, it's made for a full hard enduro bike . It's hard for a man to deal with that type of mud , but your energy and determination ... I'm speechless .
Riding through jungle roads in Central America at the beginning of or during rainy season is really hard as all unpaved roads turn into quagmires and swamps. Glad you got Alaska out of the mud trap!
bravo I admire your courage and composure, even though you have been in such difficult situations, you have not cursed once, you are wonderful
Simply put, you are inspiration! Thank you!
I'm a nervous wreck and amazed at the same time watching this episode! Noraly you show us what we are capable of doing if we don't let our fears run our lives. Thank you!
The patience it takes to put in the miles on rides like this. Constant mental geometry with the physical fatigue, you’ve got to ride trails in the jungle like this to fully appreciate what it takes mentally to not get frustrated and do something stupid.
Tons of respect sister! Your mentality is that of a true survivor.
I admire your spirit of adventure, your confidence and most of all your enthusiasm and resilience.
America and its people make a beautiful and colourful continent and you are showing it perfectly. 🙏🤞
Wow treacherous terrain! Big knobbies couldn’t pull you through! Your amazing! I’m very impressed with your wear a thon ! What an ordeal! You pulled it off!
I never imagined that minutes of watching a rider lift a motorcycle out of a swamp could be so enthralling. Bravo! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
My gosh Noraly, that trail was treacherous. Just incredible. Watching you face and overcome these challenges is very instructive. So much grit. Your parents must be so proud of you.
I would shit my pants in sorrow if she were my daughter, going such trails alone is far too much risk.
I am from India.. Many ride Bikes and all But first time i am seeing such a Daring person.. Riding through this jungle is unbelievable😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 Hat's off Miss 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗😞i was scared when u got stucked due to ur tyres... But u came out then & there i was relaxed😎... Thanks for such videos🎥... And Thanks god saved you.... may god bless you
Itchy You constantly amaze me with your determination to conquer obstacles.
As motorcycle enthusiast I immediately spotted that tires would cause some problems especially in trails since you bought it in El Salvador. Although, as you have said you don't have a choice.
Anyway, just always keep one step ahead of any incident. Take Care, Ms. Schoemaker. I really like your content. I observe Guatemalan people were so good & helpful. I really know that people living in the those kind of area you go are more cool than those in the cities. 👊
The amount of perseverance and strength of character is shown by you in this video, makes me admire you even more. I can't imagine where you get your zeal from. Just amazing
watching this season multiple videos a day and if i’m convinced of one thing, it’s that there’s NOTHING Noraly cannot do. So immensly amazed by the braveness, determination and just overal positivity ❤ absolutely adore the way you do life!
Noraly, you are a true champion. I recently returned from a 16 day 5,000km road trip on paved roads only. Only after doing this trip did I start to have a comprehension how impressive your travels are. You are an inspiration in any condition, on any tire and more.
What a brutal ride. I’m amazed that you kept going.
Especially knowing that you would have to return on the same route.
If you got really stuck out there, with jaguars, etc., it could be life threatening.
Those temples better be spectacular.
100% agree.
To ride that extremely difficult trail, alone and with no options to get help in case of trouble, took a lot of courage, strength, stamina, skill, and determination. I used to like you; now I’m coming to admire you 😀. Thanks for the great video. It left me drained and exhausted.
What's impressed me most, that you kept your high spirit even in difficult situations like driving through swamp areas..very tough girl ;-)
Good For You Itchy Boots! Well Done! A fine display of self Reliance!
This reminds me of when I crashed on a dirt road and broke my shoulder! There was no one around to help me as I struggled for hours to lift my bike. Finally, another person on a motorcycle rides by and seeing my struggles just waves and keeps going. You feel so lonely at those times. But, you are so strong from all your adventures, overcoming adversity, wisely getting a bike not too heavy, and made it! Your tires are perfect because you have to ride a great deal on the road but go off road too! I am sorry you couldn't go to Belize because it's the only Central American country we've been to and it's so beautiful and spectacular. However, where you've been is spectacular as well. Excited to see where you travel through the U.S. and Canada! There are too many great places to choose from!
Absolutely amazing ride! You've said it all: "I don't care what you say, that I walk my bike." You are there, we don't. You gotta do what you gotta do. And you did. Oh, but you nailed it!
I"m struggling to decide which was the most difficult/dangerous ride day you had... the one you burned Basanti's clutch, the freezing border crossing into Kyrgyzstan, Sani Pass with Savannah, the flood crossing with Dhanno at Bolivia or this very one.
I pick this one for one single reason: jaguars! All the others were kinda you against the elements and you could always choose to back off and all is solved. But once a jaguar decides you are the lunch, there's nothing much you can do anymore, not even press that InReach's SOS button. So, let's hope a jaguar instinct doesn't feel you that yummy!
Fantastic rides you're delivering to us, Noraly! All the best and try not to become a jaguar lunch.
PS: last week I was traveling with my mum and dad. We crossed some places with jaguars and all the three were kinda worried with that. Now I see you all that happy when glimpsed one... my family bravery lies in you!
You’re amazing lady my respect for you And thank you for the trip Was better than a movie 🍿 ❤️
Take care Mrs
Thumbs up for u.. I have no sweet words I can say for the courage u have shown or showed in journey or tour.
Wow... I'm exhausted just watching you go through this muddy hell! I chuckled when you mentioned not caring about having to walk the the bike through some of those ruts. I can't imagine any armchair or real rider critisizing you for that. You do whatever you have to do to clear the obstacle. I've watched your riding skills and confidence improve over the years. You've got more guts than the vast majority of riders. As a rider who's now had 7 back surgeries, it was painful for me just to watch you drag Alaska from the mud and get it upright. I salute you Noraly. You are an exceptional traveler, rider, woman, and person. I look forward to many future videos and adventures. :)
I’m utterly gobsmacked! Your sheer guts & determination are mind boggling in these situations. A lesson for us all to never give up on your goal. Bravo Noraly!!
You are one determined Lady! You keep pushing forward to get where u want to get, Awesome. Stay safe out there..
Eres una real aventurera. Requiere mucho valor y tenacidad hacer ese viaje en solitario. Te deseo lo mejor.
Noraly, this is not an easy ride. You are so brave to decide to take this route. I am so glad to see you make it out safely. Thank you for the exciting video. 🙏
