Thanks for exploring the township even the township there is upper, middle and lower class for example if you go to Newbriton, Dwesi and Magxaki and some areas in Motherwell they will be considered upper, middle class township areas

@@malangotravels Goma is fairly good. You can still visit, the war is far from the city even though some bombs were thrown in a refugee camp around Goma last week. A Kenyan vlogger was here last week…you’re most welcome.
You can also visit Gisenyi a Rwanda city near Goma while watching the situation in Congo. I’m planning to make a series of videos inside the refugee camps…I’m just trying to get some money to buy refugee kids something. If you can we’ll probably tour around together.

There are townships and informal settlements ( means not planned people just built on land without permission) and many migrants from other countries live there too

Low income doesn't mean one is poor. There are poor people who can't afford a place to stay. By global standards poverty line is set at $2.15 (R39.70) per day. Majority of people in that area surely are above that that line. You can see on this video that some people afford DSTV, Cars and other things that not considered to be basic needs. I also sow fiber being connected. What kind of poverty is that? Should you visit Townships in Gauteng, you will see the difference.

South Africa is no doubt the most developed country in Africa but ironically it’s also the most unequal society in the world! I hope as they go to the polls, they’ll elect someone who has SA’s interests at heart and change this issue of inequality once and for all!
