Hi everyone, first thanks for watching and subscribing, and all the kind words, i really appreciate it all. I recently have life happenenings happen, and as of now am not able to continue make videos. When i have my personal life sorted out, i will be back to making content like this again, which is sooner rather than later. Thanks again for your time, and take care. Edit: 1/20/24 My work continues :)
There was never anything for us beyond this canopy. No stars within our reach, no rock to carry our weight, no wind to grace our cheek. All that ever welcomes our presence, houses our dreams, sits on our little isle. With you, I will always be at home.

Seriously, one of the most creative ways to do a Signalis ambient music playlist, and that add in of the ship POV train ride in the asteroid belt is priceless. I wish we got to see some peaceful stress-free moments like these outside the game fr. Watching this as a space nerd, it’s beautiful.
Not enough German voices harshly speaking numbers, while a dramatic piano has its keys slammed and my retinas constantly assaulted by flashing red screens with Chinese/Japanese characters taking up the entire screen, before the eventual 'This space intentionally left blank' popping up every once in a while. ;)
Thank you so much for that Asteroid Belt segment, you didn't have to include it, and not only did you include it, but you also put Train Ride over it, such a good combination.
That video is absolutely well thought out and beautiful, every music fits each parts of the video super well, well done Also loved the touch of putting "Home" on the Earth video, that was nice lmao
This is absolutely amazing. Thank you for making this. Im so glad i stumbled upon this. Im saving this for myself permanently. Absolutely gorgeous content! It would've been nice to change the video timestamp names to the in-game planet designations, but I guess it would be hard to name Jupiter Rotfront since the focus is Jupiter, not Europa, and there's no Uranus designation in game
Great stuff. Jupiter, being one hell of a gas giant certainly deserves to be paired with that song. No, seriously. The planet is absolutely nuts, don't go there. It will give you cancer once the opportunity is present
So does this game take place in the Sol System or in another solar system entirely and if the latter half is true where they looking for the Sol System or just trying to find other solar systems that could support life?
The game pretty explicitly takes place in the Sol system. The Penrose Program is said to be intended to explore the Oort cloud for habitable worlds, aliens, resources, etc.
@@Bathezid Gotcha the videos I seen at the time wasn't really clear if this was taking place in the Sol system or not, thank you for clearing that up for me.
@@xianderthest8014 Signalis takes place in alternative reality with a solar system similar to our own Sol. There are some planets missing, some are different, but general composition is the same.
also, didn't they come from a solar system different from ours, an alternative one? you know, bc theirs are Buyan, Vineta, Kitezh, etc. Would that mean that they found inhabitable planets in our system and thus accomplished their mission successfully in this au? 🥹
for anyone thinking why is it not the same solar system as ours, i'll just say that what convinces me the most is the fact that Mercury, Neptune and Uranus are missing in their planetary system model. but due to many facts, like the mention of Jupiter's "red eye", for example, i'm open to a more accepted interpretation that humanity still lives in our system.
@@MaliUrum When I first had the concept for the video, I knew I wanted to have an animation render done for each of the planets in our solar system, with the themes of Signalis in the background, since I think a lot of the songs fit that "spacey" kind of feel, and also technically because its a game that does happen across space, first on Leng, (Pluto) and then on Rotfront (Jupiter). I wasnt as knowledgeable in Blender as I am now when I first created this video, and i knew I wanted to expand on the actual setting in Signalis, which is why I ended up making my second video, that predominately features my representation (with references ofc) to the actual setting of Signalis. This video was not meant to be a one to one for the universe in Signalis per se, but just to open up the songs to match the ambience of space, which i think it did for the most part. But I do believe that Signalis takes place in the Sol system, albiet it an alternate version of ours. I think the exclusion of the other planets is just for simplicity sakes, certain worlds are kilmaformed, and others arent, and the ones that aren't werent of enough importance to make it onto the Star Map that we see in the game. Would be interesting to see more of the universe of the game though.
@@MaliUrumThe planet puzzle says it only displays the INHABITED planets, so it’s possible that neptune and the others you couldn’t see on model are still there, they’re just not inhabited by humans and thus isn’t displayed.

Penrose is shaped like an arrow: never meant to return

not really.

This is one of the best Signalis videos I've seen. It really makes the universe of Signalis feel like a place they inhabited.
Wait until you see the next one ;)

oh hey its the Mmm Yeah person
This is so beautiful! I love how these SIGNALIS themes match up with the design of each planet as well as the Penrose passing each one. :)
THIS IS SO AMAZING I'M CRYING RN
Thank you for making this, I'd like to think of this as the good ending.
this is actually good!

What a beautiful journey! How long has it been?... hey, why is my nose bleeding?
the world of signalis is surprising and disturbing
For a similar vibe, try the video game Scavenger SV-4
