Glad I could help!😊 when I found out how to disassemble that brush I was like wow that’s so cool- finally didnt need to change them so often just cleaned up properly:)
as needed! depends on how often you run your robot and also how dirty your floors get - if you have pets, if you wear shoes around your house etc. a super clean thorough i do every few months and i check the tray every 2 weeks to make sure there's no clogs but your robot will alert you if there will be any :)
Thank you for the video! Is it safe to use 70% isopropyl alcohol (put on a cloth) for better cleaning or can it damage the robot surface (I'm talking about those parts that actually have to deal with collecting dirt and the sensors)?
@@JuliaCaban Thank you, I had a Roomba (vacuum only) before this one, and I used isopropyl alcohol for the dirtier parts and for the sensors. But I was not sure I should do that with the Roborock.
Please see 6:19 The filter is located on the side of the dustbin, you just pull it out to remove it, and you can wash it under running water like I shown

Thanks! Comprehensive and useful
- Did not know you could pop the mesh/float sensor off the tray for cleaning
- That cotton ball trick is great!
Excellent! Glad I could help😁
If i don’t bring docking station on second floor, Will it able to mop ? Does it have a small water tank to insert into robot as mopping
What a great idea for the cotton balls!
Thank you! 😊
Recently bought a Maxv (what a wonderful machine), thanks for your tips. I didn't know you can disassemble that red brush omg???
Glad I could help!😊 when I found out how to disassemble that brush I was like wow that’s so cool- finally didnt need to change them so often just cleaned up properly:)
How do I replace and install filter
Can you show how you installed the silver ion module in the dirty water tank?
It’s really easy, you can see a couple of plastic bits at the bottom of the tank, just push it inbetween them 👌
I will try to show it in the next video about Q Revo! I'm working on an updated review :)
Can I use a regular washing detergent instead of theirs?
I tried but it gets very foamy in the washing tray so that doesn't work well…
Do you wash the pads in the washing machine with regular detergent
Yes!:) I do sometimes soak in dish soap and vinegar solution if they’re more dirty but then I throw it in a wash with hot water and regular detergent
I just received my and I noticed that it left my floor foggy looking after drying, do you think I did something wrong?
Maybe you have hard water? Im going to be used distilled water in my tank when I get the vacuum in the mail cause our water is so hard where we live.
Very helpful 👌. Thank you ❤
You're welcome 😊
Can you show us how we can use the cleaning solution? Do you just put it in the clean water tank ?
Yes - I showed it in my updated Roborock q revo review - it’s on my channel :)
@@JuliaCabancan you post a link
How often do you do this thorough cleaning though? Seems quite long 🤔

OUTSTANDING. Guessing you're an engineer? ;0)
🤓
Is this still a good vacuum or you moved on to a better one?
I just uploaded updated review :)
@JuliaCaban I am not seeing it in your channel
Thank you for the video! Is it safe to use 70% isopropyl alcohol (put on a cloth) for better cleaning or can it damage the robot surface (I'm talking about those parts that actually have to deal with collecting dirt and the sensors)?
I would be careful! I think it’s safer to use microfiber cloth with some mild detergent or just warm water.
@@JuliaCaban Thank you, I had a Roomba (vacuum only) before this one, and I used isopropyl alcohol for the dirtier parts and for the sensors. But I was not sure I should do that with the Roborock.
I personally haven’t tried cleaning it with 70% alcohol - everything comes off nicely with just mild detergent:)
roborock q revo error 52 I can not fix this...?
I never had that issue. Did you try contacing roborock?
Make sure that little filter on the tray is installed properly
Thank you
Thank you for watching!
I think I can also clean the whole floor after all these maintenance cleanings
Haha! Gotta love that fresh clean feeling! 👌
I came here trying to figure out how to replace and wash the filter and find its location, but this info was not given so not very helpful.
Please see 6:19 The filter is located on the side of the dustbin, you just pull it out to remove it, and you can wash it under running water like I shown
That's gross dumping that tank in your sink. Your toothbrush is there. eeeeeew. Empty it into the toilet!!!
did it on purpose so you would comment! 🤣
dirty water tank is not filled and dirty water remains in tray
is it clogged? that never happened to me - I would contact roborock immediately!
