Good show. The one problem was that the audience dismissed most jokes and was pretty much waiting for the Will dirt.
The audiences energy was evident.

I actually loved the special. Chris Rock, at his worst, is infinitely funnier than these ancient, crusty, disastrously out-of-touch JBP lames. A word of advice: If you don't have the vocabulary for critique, don't do it. You've got to bring more to the table than yelling, "It's traaash" 🙄😂

Live and scheduled release is basically the same for Netflix, in that they are wanting to be apart of your schedule. Most people have at least a loose schedule, and time for entertainment. They want to be able to show that they can get X# of eyes at a Xtime. It’s trying to add stability in a sense. Don’t want you to forget, or binge later, watch it when it drops to be apart of the culture (or within a couple days, just like TV ratings used to have ratings for 3/5/7 day replays).
That show was funny as hell. Mel sound like a hater but Chris Rock’s style ain’t for everybody

The reason why anyone would say they fell asleep is because they are surfaced minded thinkers, I feel sorry for the lady on the couch. He address a plethora of issues some that are important to the American family, like the way he was raised and contrasted his now privleged daughter and how it bothered him. He talked about victim hood from persons undeserving, hence the line he said about the hospital filled with papercuts. The name of the special was Selective Outrage and all of these stories are similar to that of Smith. Talked about the division in America. Read, write and comprehend, comedians have a gift and Chris Rock blessed us. But the ignorant will keep the masses lost.

The honest truth is when hbo max dropped and had movies on the same day it came out it changed the game of streaming. Not only did hbo max have great shows and could afford a-list actors for their own movies they had world premieres on their platform for only $10 a month how can you beat that.

If there are “time slots” that are underutilized or underperforming, if someone were to create something interesting enough to bring viewers to that time slot, it’s an easy negotiation point. I was able to do “x” in the worst time slot. I could easily do “Y” if I had a better time slot
