- This is a full video installation of our 5th Gen Toyota Tacoma 83lb Hi-Lite front bumper. Just like all of our products, we use both steel and aluminum in our bumper systems. Our 2 piece design features a beefy, all steel winch plate as well as a full aluminum outer bumper shell, totaling around 85lbs.
In this video, we also cover the installation of each of our optional accessories, including our aluminum connector skid plate, frame support brackets, and washer tank guard. This video also covers the installation for our prerunner bull bar version and our triple hooped bull bar version .

***UPDATE*** The frame support brackets shown in the video are NOT included with the bumper. They are sold separately, along with the washer tank reservoir guard and aluminum connector skid plate. Please disregard the "included" text about the frame support brackets shown on the screen at 0:11.

Oooft I like this bumper setup. I started with the Low Profile bumper just like this customer. I really like the aluminum exterior shell with the steel winch cradle. You guys do good work!

Are any aftermarket fog lights that fit into these holes plug and play with the original/factory fog light wiring? Or do you just use pods and have to rewire?

Very nice looking bumper. Can a 30" light bar be used instead of pod lights?
We have seen people run a 30" bar in the front on top of the center section.

I am in the process of ordering one for my TRD Pro and they have told me YES it will work with the TRD Pro skid plate

It does fit! We've had plenty of customers do this. The cut is a little different on the plastic, but it bolts right up. There's photos on our website listing for this bumper.

Nice design! Does the bumper come with pre-drilled holes for the Baja Design lights? Also, I have the TRD skid plate but I assume that the connector plate replaces the factory skid plate?
Thanks! You can mount baja designs light pods in the fog pockets no problem. As far as lights on top, you have to drill those yourself, however its super easy because it's aluminum. Yes, the connector plate replaces the factory skid plate and joins it to the bumper.

Yes, you can.
Cutting that bumper had my hands sweating, I'm having trouble figuring out what this would look like on a Limited, know of any pics of a Limited with this bumper installed?
Yep! The Custom Shop Inc. In NY has done a couple on limited 4Runners

Installs the same, except the cuts are different. The Custom Shop Inc. in NY has done installs on limited models
Do you sell just the Aluminum bumper same style without the extra weight of the wench mounts? I want the bumper and skid in Aluminum without the extra steel weight
We do not. They work in conjunction with each other. If it was all aluminum, it would significantly lose a lot of strength.
Could this work with 4runners equipped with 360 degree cameras from factory?
Should still work. We haven't officially tested it on one ourselves.
Are the bumper and skid plate made to fit with KDSS?
Yes

Oscillating tool!
The fog lights whay did u do with them and the wires?
Converted the harness to accept baja designs fog lights.
Does the placement of the Baja lights interfere with TSS?
No it does not.

I noticed the shackle holes in the winch plate are off center. Curious as to why it was designed that way?
That's to have plenty of clearance for D-rings or other recovery tools.
So what do you do with this bumper if the camera system upfront ect..
On the newest 2022+ models, most likely you'll need to relocate your sensor, but only if you also have the camera. C4 fabrication makes a relocation bracket. However, we have had customers tell us that they just zip tied the sensor behind the grill a little higher up.
Does this bumper require that you get aftermarket fog lights?
Yes. You can't reuse your factory fog lights.
I kinda like it. But do you have to undo the winch bolts every time you do an oil change? What a pain
No, the oil drain sits behind that skid. Nothing to remove from our end.

You don't use a wire line with a fairlead. Rollers with wire rope winch line.

Why don’t you just use a laser to mark the cuts???
This is a more accurate and consistent way to measure from vehicle to vehicle. Using a laser doesn't account for any suspension sagging. Some vehicles might not be perfectly level.
