I love the term “lazy glam.” I feel the same way about my style but have never been able to really put it into words.
I think elegant and comfortable is a combination that most people don’t think is possible. But you show how it can be done in the most beautiful way! And I love the playfulness of the lips and eye make up against your clothes. I myself look like a poacher in an Oliver Twist play but find your videos very inspiring.
Oh thank you!! ❤ ‘A poacher in an Oliver Twist play’ 😅😅😅
It's been fun to watch your style evolve over the years. Your signature style truly suits you.
Thank you! I’d hope so, I’ve spent so much time obsessing over my wardrobe 😂😂😂
Ah the wardrobe tour! It's exciting to see how your style has evolved from tour to the next.
Thank you for watching! ❤😊
Love it! I turned 40 this year and am wearing what I call "Easy Elegance". Only navy + white, mainly dresses, either solid colour or very large print. It all mixes and matches, and isn't boring, despite being less than 20 pieces.
I would love to see your wardrobe then😄 Sounds so good!
It’s so nice to have the perspective of a fellow Aussie to speak about clothing style! 100% agree with you on the choice between sunscreen and long clothing for summer!
Hi! I have been following your channel for a couple of years now, and it's so cool to see how you've experimented with style and how your style has changed. Since I'm in my thirties now I'd say I have a definitive go-to style after much experimentation, but your videos recently show how we're free to be fluid, and how we don't have to stay in one particular lane if it's time to change. xo
Makes my day when you make new videos Patricia🥺🥺💖💖
Thank you for watching, beautiful. ❤😊
I like your change from earthy tones to b, w & grey. Probably suits your cooler (?) blonde hair & your more easy sophisticated vibe, which I like. Your fabric choices appear sleeker too - fine knits etc. Well done, Patricia.
What's not to love about "lazy glam"?! Thank you for the update.
Love the video! Yes, lazy glam, the best!❤ I love the terminology! You look fabulous, per usual, lovely outfits!
My challenge is how to realise when the pendulum is indeed swinging and what to do with the nice clothes that do not work, or not anymore. Selling or thrift shops are not really options where i live. I am also curious about what came first: new hair or new clothes in black? As in, did the new hair encourage more dramatic clothes, or did the move to a more dramatic style almost call for more dramatic hair?
Love the LAZY GLAM!! chef’s kiss 😘
Yes! Life is about knowing who we actually are, and our style reflecting that. But that does not mean being stuck in one place, because life has us constantly evolving. And our style may have some core principles throughout, but will also evolve along with us. And while that doesn't mean replacing our wardrobes every week, it does mean it's ok do thoughtfully go about the process of changing our style to be consistent with who we and how we live at any given moment. I applaud you being true to yourself and doing it in the public gaze, because lord knows people love to present their criticism. I don't know that i could handle it.
Yay!! As I work my way through your amazing course I was wondering about the size of your wardrobe now that you have had your pendulum swings. I wasn’t trying to aim for a specific number just wanted a general idea of the size that you find to be practical these days. This was the exact video I wanted. It is amazing to see how very different wardrobes we can have in colors and style using the same method. That’s what makes the course so fun and so challenging. I’m really enjoying it and learning so much. Thanks for the course and the video.
Oh thank you! I’m happy you are finding value in my course! ❤😊
That headband is a work of art, love it :)
My favourite era was the bunches of silver brooches and charcoal silk! Glad we’re leaning towards glam again, very fun.
Great video again! Loving your current small wardrobe!
YES! I´m lovin´it! Especially in combination with your very very esthetic filming and cutting habits 😍😍😍
That hair color and lip is a perfect combo for you!
Loved this small wardrobe tour ❤ you look great in all your outfits 💝 have a lovely summer 😘
Thanks Sharon! I hope you are well. ❤
Lovely! Could you talk about a wardrobe budget for quality pieces? How do you plan for purchases and know what you need/want? Thank you!
More wardrobe tours please 😊 love monochrome looks
I’m sure there will be more to come! ❤
👍And achromantic looks too.
"A small wardrobe" tour. I see what you did there!!!😉
😘😘😘
Love your style and that red lipstick, perfection!😍
Reminds me of your first video❤❤❤❤❤❤
You look so much younger and more beautiful than you did in the beginning❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I’m loving your new selection. Funny though. While you are moving towards a more black wardrobe I’m transitioning to a more neutral style with chocolate browns beiges and dark greens.
Totally loving it! Especially the lady shoes and the turquoise eyeliner❤️. My favorite shoes are zip up short boots, but those slip on square toes are very distracting
I am loving it.
I love your style and I am also to glam chic, lazy chic fancy style or something like that 🙂
You seriously get classier ever year.
Oh you are too kind! ❤😊
I'm thinking you have around 50 - 60 clothes (excluding sleepwear, foundation garments, socks etc).
In my wardrobe l own 57 clothes apart from the exclusion above and 8 pairs of shoes.
I live in Melbourne, known for 4 seasons in a day.
This statistic is from Marketing Mag 2021: Close to one in three (30.1 percent) Australians currently own between 50-150 pieces of clothing items.
So l'm in this category and l surmise you are too. It means we are in the lower end of 'average'.
Not so small a wardrobe after all.
Frankly, lovin it.
Mine too 😊 🌟 🌟 🤩
I love it, but most importantly--its wonthat you love it:)❤
Where is the black pants with open legs from?
Hi Patricia 🌸 what camera are you using?
Canon G7X. It’s not that great. 😅
Oh really? I am always so stunned by the quality and colors, but probably it's all thanks to your talent that it works so well :) Thanks for the reply anyways @@patriciamycyk
Where is your red ballet flats from?
Vivaia! Use code PATRICIA15 for 15% off. ♥️
❤
🥳🥰
can't help but think patty is microdosing
I’m not.
@@patriciamycyk sorry, didn't mean to offend
you went blonde so now you dress like a scandinavian
Go darker on the hair, to suit the lips or find flattering makeup .. the blue washed you out and gives off old lady I don’t know your age but I find older women get stuck in makeup ruts and just a makeup refresh would really help!
So stereotypical and not true. Patricia looks fabulous in that teal eyeliner and has inspired me to do the same. I totally forgot that I used to wear it in university often and got so many compliments. My mom told me that it was really hip in the 70s with the young generation to wear blue eyeshadow and she thinks it looks beautiful. So it’s not a “old lady” thing. Perhaps it just stands out if a old lady wears it. But that’s the point. Fancy things stand out and that’s what makes them beautiful.
I don't know where you got the idea that it was appropriate and welcome to share your (uncomplimentary).views on her makeup and hair. It isn't.
You know when the trolls come out the video is doing well. 😂
Your students would be enjoying your entertainment … lol
black/ white are definitely not your colours.. you are a summer type
The blonde hair is what makes black work better
