Seeing Draugr in this episode I thought they've followed you over from Skyrim ! Keep reading the important bits of the story as it's nice to have a narrator. The word Pyre is a large pile of wood on which a body is burnt. Keep ripping apart those draugr with your bare hands Lucille Uurrgghh !

Don’t ask too many questions. It’s meant to be confusing. Even by the end I was a bit lost lol.
Kratos was a Greek warrior in the beginning. Several events happened through the games I won’t give away, but it’s all Greek mythology and some liberties added. Now he has run from that and is in the Norse area and exploring the Norse mythology.

This game was made for Playstation. It would be really cool if you could play this with a controller. Even better if it’s a dualsense. You’ll get all the features. Later on the combat is too fast to be able to get through with a mouse.

Thankfully you played horizon zero dawn so you will probably have no problems figuring out how to get stronger. There aren’t many armors, but you will want to pay attention to the runes you equip to your armor. That is what will customize your character in ways you want as you go. It does take a while to get good ones. Always check and see what you have that could be a better rune to use.
I don't blame Atreus for not saying the whole thing, he's a child who's lost his mother but...

Kratos was born a demigod, but became a god somehow (I know little about the older games lore, so there is probably a detailed explanation that I don't know) and replaced Ares as the God of War.

Go play the games from the last 20 years. You’ll understand how he became a god and what powers he has and why he tries not to fully use them.
When I first got back into gaming after a lengthy hiatus, I bought a PS4 on a Black Friday deal in 2018. This game and Horizon Zero Dawn came with it. The combat in both games made me feel like an old man because I really struggled with the pace. I hadn't been gaming for over a decade; it turns out I was just rusty. I picked Horizon back up some time later, and I really got into it-eventually even beating it on the highest difficulty. I've yet to get back to God of War, but it's on my production schedule for a blind LP early next year. I guess it's true what they say, "Great minds think alike!" Since I've previously played the first little bit of the game, I'm going to watch your first episode. Best wishes for this series. I hope it does well for you and that you enjoy making it.🎮
