    I have always found the audio quality for the speaking parts fine (certainly better than most video makers) in your videos but I'm personally not a fan of a backing track over informational videos.
    Good one, man.

    I have E. Tenellus in my planted 20-long. Substrate is eco-complete, and the tenellus is far and away the most successful plant in that tank -- it's sending runners everywhere. BTW, I thought the audio in this video was just fine.

    I just started watching you and I find you are very informative. For some reason I didn't know you could put "soil" in an aquarium and no one in fish stores ever suggested it. I would very much like to try this! Question: I noticed you had a lot of snails in you 15 gal. and noticed some in the big one behind you. How do you deal with that? I.e. Get rid of them, or cut down the population? And aren't they a carrier of "ick"? I've never had any luck with plants in an aquarium, so now I guess I know why! And finding them at a resonable price has always been an issue.

    Just bought a narrow leaf chain sword plant for my 20 gallon. I got talked out of a dwarf sag. 😬
    I’ve got Activ Flora substrate and no CO2.
    Hope it works out.

    How do you clean that tank?

  • @toycarfoushboy
    @toycarfoushboy 7 лет назад +1

    I have dwarf sag sub and so far I like them, though I think I'll also have to look into finding some chain swords too, variety in the tank will look good. Thinking the lab with your tank in the background is cool. Maybe setup in front of different tank every so often, cool also, but yeah like the time you spent setting up your background. Thanks for the info! :-)

    I hate to post a question on here but I cant seem to find any active forums with people who actually know what they're talking about. My question: I have an 11 day old (since I put fish in) 55 gal aquarium and I'm not sure if it has cycled/is cycling properly. It would probably be considered overstocked at this point in time as it has 30 fish in it most are barbs and tetras or ther relatively juvenile/teenage fish but it also has a variety of live plants and smaller pieces of driftwood. I test it almost everyday using api liquid testers. For the last week or so it went through a nitrite spike that peaked at about 3.0ppm then it rapidly decreased to approx. 0.25 ppm and has remained stationary for the last few days. The strange thing is that I never saw the ammonia spike it has always read 0.0 and the nitrates were remaining 5.0ppm but now are at 0.0 as well. Is this normal because I'm not sure as to what steps to take next if any are necessary. I had the majority of the other fish I a 29 gal tank but it had a persisitent cloud to it so I had to drain it andchanged the substrate to sand so its now newer than my 55. I started the 55 on Dec. 24th using api quick start stress coat and stress zyme as the api website recommended.
