I remember when Paralives first came out with their concept of gameplay and the kickstarter. There were SO many naysayers claiming it's just the build mode we don't know what the actual game will provide. I'm so proud the game turn out so amazing so far. I'm so pumped for the release.
not even embarrassed to admit that I cried when I saw the wheelchair in your thumbnail. I've been playing life sims since I was 8, and have yet to be able to represent myself and my life in them; the sims' attitude to disability inclusion in the past of it being "too heavy" for their game makes me so sad, because my wheelchair is the happiest thing to ever happen to me, it gives me freedom to move that I've never had before, and the idea that it'd be "too difficult" to include wheelchairs in the sims 4 has been really upsetting to me (feels like it's people saying that me and people like me aren't worth the effort to be included, which is a sentiment expressed a lot towards disabled people) especially after it's been said that there won't be a new sims game that could include us from the get go. I'm not surprised paralives have committed to inclusion of disabled people because from the start it's been a very community driven game with inclusion at its core, but this is the first time I've seen visual confirmation that mobility aids are going to be in the game, and yeah it made me cry haha. representation is so important, and I can't say how valuable it would have been to eight year old me to have the opportunity to play with disabled characters in a life sim game. maybe I wouldn't have waited so long to allow myself to use a wheelchair, saving myself years of pain and isolation because I was ashamed and embarrassed that I needed a mobility aid.
i'm excited too, but it isn't functional ( yet! they made it sound like after the initial early access they'd definitely be open to it but they want to be able to do so accurately?? from what i've seen about it in videos reading them tlaking about it )
As long as disabilities aren't in the game and all aids are nonfunctional and purely visual, these things sadly feel more like a marketing gag. Not like an attempt to get us disabled more into society.
Stop compare them TS4 no soul at all, they're done when ts3 was closed Now they just sell any fart of this project and it's terrible as f... InZoi gonna be the same no soul project. Yeah, it's beautiful, but that's all... I don't feel anything when I see some videos of this, but when I see paralives shorts about mini details which they added, it's always warning my heart
@@piink_lace No, it actually does more good. Because it effortlessly puts a bad game down while bolstering a good one. Not to mention, it'll get some people interested in playing Paralives.
@@yaroslavuvaroveng I don't understand what you're saying, friend... But if you saying to not compare them, there's no harm in doing so. Actually, it's more harm in not!
@AreteG I understand where you're coming from, but you have to remember it isn't the job of the paralives dev team to ' beat ' the sims 4. The sims 4 and paralives are on completely different levels in terms of budget. They may not be able to include certain things in the game that are already in the ts4. Having people constantly compare ts4 to paralices sets paralives to a bar that an indie game with an indie dev team may not be ready for. I'm super excited for paralives and I'm sure you are too , but comparing the two games together only does more harm than good in the long term ♡
Paralives is looking to be so cozy and good, I’m excited to see roofing and weather, also economy and how gameplay will be engaging. I know it may be weird but I do hope they actually have paid dlc, reasonably priced and with free updates too that give a lot more to base game
When they released their first longform gameplay reveal video, they did specify that they'll release free DLC. In case you haven't seen it, the video is still on their RUclips channel and shows several ingame days of the life of a Para, including charactee creation, work mechanics, social interactions, skills... It's still early for a number of features, and we'll see more as the Early Access release approches, but there's already a lot to be excited about !
5:30 while you were talking i imagine a sort of challenge where you would start with 2 families on either side of an empty map and try to build a civilisation while having a rivalry between the families. idk if we’ll be able to own shops but would be cool if each family could add to the high streets and businesses around and slowly build up
Paralives looks very promising. I am definitely gonna check it out when it releases. The biggest surprise of the video was the baby in the background. ❤️ Congrats with your little one.
Looks amazing!! All the work you have done is insane, all details in construction, by neighborhood and style 😮 I really want to explore and play this game 😊
Omg you're telling me I can build my home city? I could go out and visit everywhere and for places I can't see I can make things up? That sounds amazing
Ι still remember your channel starting small and then growing larger and larger. I also remember the first Paralives video you uploaded. Wow. *crying in greek*
Paralives is making the huge loss of Life by You tolerable the only life sim I'm interested in now. I wish they would add the population control system Life by You had last thing I really need
I dont know how I missed the terrain sections for worlds being s thing. This will be great for allowing players with different machines to be able to play the game without it being bogged down with more lots than what their PC can handle.

I love how grass works in Paralives ❤ I can't wait to build houses around nature
Paralives is everything TS4 should've been.

EA: we hear your complaints but we make to much money to give back to our user base
PARALIVES: we'll gladly take your market share, brb

The sims 4 is limited and everything evey feature is not free !
I've noticed that there are no curbs in the neighborhood.
Missed you! Where have you been? 🙂 Welcome back!!
I've been around, just a bit tougher to make videos with a 6 month old 😅
5:39 *FRIDG*
Do we know the maxium Household size yet?
I hope EA doesn't tank Paralives like how they "allegedly" tanked Life By You
I cannot waaiiitt to build in paralives!! The little details… 🥹 you can tell this is a game being built with love and with players in mind
