    I love this but I would like to see more life stages like babies toddlers and kids etc but overall I love this 👋

      The relationship status thing in the live mode trailer showed a toddler

      Pretty sure they have confirmed all life stages at early access launch.

    LOL! The people saying that parts of the UI aren't noticeable enough really, REALLY, REEEEEEAALLY need to get out there and play other games!! ANY other game at this point, LOL!! The UI features are so noticeable compared to all other games (except very young children's perhaps) that they literally slap you in the face!! I don't generally like the word st****d to describe people, but... These people obviously only play The Sims 4, and the only reason they think they aren't noticeable is because only know ONE game mechanic because they've never played any other games!! 🤣🤣🤣 They'll get used to a different UI on a different game. Even Stardew Valley has notifications that are less visible - and that's pretty visible!! And you'll be specifically watching for this notification anyway! Other games, particularly complex games, have players searching through menus trying to find features, and often have very important game loosing notifications only appear in tiny print in the bottom corner of the screen and often with no sound warning at all - you have to be paying attention. And usually, it's only ONE notification rather than stages of warning - Paralives almost bashes the player across the head with notifications! Particularly the needs notifications. Honestly, how the heck did these people even navigate their way to the forums to ask this question??
    My only concern is that it takes a whole minute for that notification to appear. That' a long time to wait. I'd reckon that time should be halved.
    And there's absolutely no problem with the pop-ups sizes for conversations. As they say, it's user initiated, choose one and it's gone, plus it obviously pauses the game anyway. Once again, these worriers are people who simply aren't used to pop-ups because they aren't in The Sims. You won't miss anything. They are fine. Good grief!! These are the things that really make me wonder about the IQ of human kind...

      @@Thyana-ig5no I play a wide variety of games, but honestly these notifications should be ridiculously obvious to anyone with more than half a brain cell, unless you're talking about accessibility for fish and newts.

      then i suggest you to try write constructive criticism to paralives yourself. This is a just a mockup UI, so it can't be perfect. There must be flaws. Try to find them, and keep in mind not only the needs of an average gamer, but also the needs of diverse disabilities, players with different kinds of experiences and ages. If your guesses aren't correct, that's fine! Noone of us is a profi. But each attempt of constructive criticism is very very valuable.

    I've played a game where needs appear as notifications like paralives (start as a minor concern and slowly get more urgent), and it's not bad at all, it honestly was easier than finding the needs panel when I was a beginner lol.

    2:46 All those listed is completely understandable for a small team and one animator. Cars are already difficult to animate, making sure the size is correct and the routing. Pets especially the design too, I’m sure they probably got some sketches but pets not easy either especially when i know people want horses and probably others . Horses are the toughest there’s so much issues with them than dogs or cats . The rest yeah I hope people do not rush or pressure them. I think they should add pools and basements, family tree and memories first whenever before the rest

    Out of all that, my biggest pet peeve is that they put the dollar sign AFTER the numerals (in the paycheck notice). Even if they don’t end up using a $, every currency in the world is written out with the symbol first followed by the numerals. It absolutely KILLS me to see it switched around!
    If any has the ear of a dev, please, please pass this on.
    (Pet peeves are so irrational, aren’t they?)

      I believe the devs have put the $ after the numbers because they are located in Quebec and writing it like that is common in French-speaking parts of Canada (from what I’ve heard! I am not Canadian).

      Many other countries (and the Canadian province of Quebec) put the currency symbol after the amount.

      @@qwerkiangoo-o2929 Ah, yes, if you are writing in your country’s native language, that’s true. If you are writing in English, it’s the sign first and then amount.
      Of course, legal documents are probably written out in a different, specific way. I’m not a lawyer so I wouldn’t really know.

      @@novaverieI’m sorry. I should have said “In English…” But I thought it was a given seeing as how all the text on the job screen was written in English that the currency sign style should follow that convention as well. Because surely the developers intend to distribute outside of Quebec? 🤪
