Us Māori would love to have that whale bone as we carve our weapons with it for our Taiaha, wahaika, Mere and Kotiate and other things. Whales are sacred in our culture we don’t go hunting and butchering whales just to make weapons.. to our ancestors whales were sent to us as a protector a hood omen to the people
