- We here at JustDisc love watching disc golf together, and this year in 2021, we’ve truly seen some incredible throws that have brought the professional game to a higher level. We’ve seen new lines and new distances that we’ve never thought possible and truthfully, the sport has never looked better!
Now, considering the 2021-disc golf year is coming to a close, we figured it was a great opportunity to give you our Top 50 Professional Throws of 2021 from the MPO division.

Off the top of my head my top 5:
1. JC holy shot (undisputed best shot of the year)
2. Eagle parking a 700ft hole
3. The unemotional Ace from Dickerson
4. Casey White tilt up and over no chains
5. All of Eagle McMahon's Rollers (to many amazing ones to count)

JC shot us the undisputed best shot in disc golf history
Nathan Queen's "ice-in-the-veins" park job on 16 to seal the DGPT certainly deserved a spot here. But, all of these were great choices! So hard to pick just 50 when there were so many great ones this year.
What an amazing shot at an incredibly important moment ... When you factor in how hard that hole is for a lefty ... Fantastic !

I think you could make the argument that Hannums ace is the 3rd best shot on this list behind the holy shot and the slip ace
Eagles 700ft drive should be #2 imo, it was huge and viral around social media moreso than any of the others (barring the shot)

I couldn't put it above Kevin's ace even though it's not from this year. The ace Id argue was even more viral than eagles shot and just a crazier shot in general. Obviously not many people can throw that far but I bet if you gave eagle the chance he'd have an easier time recreating that shot versus getting that ace.
totally agree. aces are lucky, 700 parked job is insane
how many people that have aced a 250 foot hole (lots) versus people that have parked a 700 foot hole not down hill or windy (probably 1) shows how high it should be on the list. like chris's ace at idlewild was cool, but has happened many times before.

Fun to watch! I can't think of the tournament, but I know Corey Ellis has some amazing drives that deserved to be included in this video. He birdied the hole every round, which was considered unheard of.

Yeah, so good that it was from last season.
I would only say that Eagle's standstill forehand at DGLO deserves a much higher spot and also the Dickerson ace was Idlewild, not Ledgestone.
Next season is gonna be crazy.

Anyone who has been watching this year should have known what the #1 spot was going to be. Still an amazing shot.
Awesome video. What a year of disc golf we've had! Definitely a shame to not have any of Queen's shots (particularly the drive on 16) included from the Tour Championship. Also maybe worth noting that #4, Dickerson's ace is listed as being at Ledgestone when it was at Idlewild.

The Holy Shot was undoubtedly the most important shot of the year. But that's the only reason it deserves #1. Eagle's 700ft park job was by far the most impressive thing I saw all season and would be #1 on my list.
I feel like this list rewarded aces too much. It's single shots, casey whites throwin was better than any ace on the list because of how cut off the angle into the basket is from that height. Also, JC throw in definitely #1 but Eagles 700 ft park job is a close second.

Very understandable Vien Le, but we did not include it to avoid violating copyright rules as best as possible. Some channels just make a highlight reel without changing anything, but they are at a high risk of violating the rules since they are not following the "Fair Use Copyright Act".

Good question! It was his last shot at winning the tournament, and he had to get it in to win the tournament. Not to mention, he was playing against the 5x World Champion Paul McBeth! It was the best disc golf shot, or at least moment in disc golf history 👍

Eagle's monster match play drive (#10) and that ridiculous road barrier straddle shot (#23) both deserved top 3 in my opinion. Just because something is an ace doesn't automatically make it the best shot. Great list otherwise, thanks
I can't believe his straddle sidearm was 23. Most people can't throw a sidearm that far with a full run up

Hey Turtles! The main reason we do not include the original audio is to avoid any copyright strikes. Since we are using their original footage, we like to make the new content as transformative as possible. Hope this helps clarify!

Loved the selection of shots. Just one question. Why did you not use the sound of the clips? For example The crowd going wild when JC made the shot just adds so much to the moment. But other than great video
Great question NaDennIsGut! It really has to do with trying to avoid copyright violations. We wanted to use the sounds, but we felt it was not adapting/changing the content enough under the Fair Copyright Act. By changing the content up as much as possible, we avoid getting in trouble for borrowing content from others 👍

#6 seemed kind of run of the mill ace. All aces are exciting, but pretty straight forward hole. Maybe was clutch to win the tournament?

Eagle's 700 foot shot.... truly amazing. Look at it from a spectator's point of view. Every single person there probably thought there was no way anyone could get it to the basket but he did. A disc golf tournament throw that rivaled the furthest long distance throws ever and it was on the money.
FPs deserve more visibility

Dickerson's Ace was Idlewild, not Ledgestone. Drew's Eagle was Ledgestone, not LVC. KJ slip ace was 2020. All great shots, though.

Don't get the kind of "rating". Imho best is a word to discribe something nobody did or could have achieved. And for that #23 (Eagles Forehand over that fence) has to be way higher. Sure his rollers and especially his 700ft parkjob are insane, but there are guys on tour that could match him at that. Aces and parkjobs on 300 to 400 ft holes are not that great in comparison

Unpopular opinion! James Conrad's throw-in should not have been #1. Top 10 for sure, I get the impact of it winning him the title but was for many reasons, not the best shot of the year. WAS NOT AN ACE! Therefore objectively not the best shot !!!!!!! Now if the title of the video was Top 50 impactful/winning shots of the year, For certain, #1 by a mile but by no means the best shot. Also Nathan Queen definitely deserved to be in this video for a multitude of throws at the DGPT championship. Sorry for the rant, I'm just the devil's advocate, still fun to watch, thanks for the content

Yeah Austin’s forehand was suppose to be #2 but got lost in the editing process (mentioned above in the pinned comment).
As for the #6 clip, it’s more about the meaning of the ace than then actual ace. He has lost someone close the day before and got the ace the very nice day. Kind of a special moment for him ❤️

It’s in the Top 10?! Agreed that it’s an amazing shot, but my guess is he would be able to repeat that throw after a few attempts, whereas aces are near impossible to repeat. Either way, we hope you enjoyed the video!

That #10 needs to be higher IMO, that was an unbelievable shot.
Yeah, it was near impossible to rank all 50 shots perfectly, but we did our best! For sure some of them could be moved around 👍
#10 is the best DG shot ever that I know of that doesn't go in the basket.

I love watching highlight shots, but the background music doesn’t work. It takes away from how great these shots are. Hearing the commentators in amazement as these shots happen is like living it all over again. That adds to the viewing pleasure in a way that editing music to the background doesn’t do….. Just a thought …. I’m sure I’m not alone. Great collection of shots though!

Mason Ford’s drive at hole 18 at the Music City Open finals should have been included. It was the shot of the young guy’s career.
Being tied with Wysocki at the last hole of the finals means you must put it close. And boy he almost aced it...
