I’m home alone a lot so yeah I love that freedom. I’m used to it and it’s fun. I keep myself busy with chores and hobbies. It’s relaxing. There’s a difference between being alone vs being lonely.
Negeen...One day.. you will realize that you are alone and lonely, depressed, helpless, no one to talk to when things are hard, and mentally unprepared. And there’s a difference about anti-social but still have a best friend to talk to.
Believe me or not. Most people who think like this are gonna be So independent that most of the people are gonna hated it. cuz most of the decisions that your gonna make are so selfish. That most of the time will end up with broken relation ship and broken family when you get married. Pls don’t be that person.dont end up like Karens

I remember getting freaked out when I realized that I liked being alone soo much that I felt like I just couldn't get enough of it and the thought of having that time taken from me scares me. It made me realize who I actually was, what my purpose is, there were many thoughts I had that weren't even mine, I love having my own mind, everything is just more clear to me, no more interference and others telling me what to do with my life. However I am an Introvert, I am a social introvert in that I can be very social, charming and entertaining and people start to latch onto me and want to be my friend but as soon as I see them get those ideas and asked for my number I pull away. I choose my friends very carefully. I feel less lonely when I am alone and sometimes more lonely when I am with people.

When I lived alone I ( introverted person) enjoyed zero interruptions to the solitary activities I was doing. I realized I was a real neat freak too. I would get so excited about how nice and clean it was ... I had nothing nagging in my head needing my attention. I wanted to share this ... then was disappointed when someone came over and didn't notice and left a mess. I thought every home had to have at least one decent sized TV. Then alone I tried to figure out why because I never turned it on. I sit watching my smartphone/ tv happily. You realize a lot about you when there isn't distraction.

Oh my god this is my sign. I've never commented on a youtube video before this is so weird but your story is almost exactly like mine. I just ended a 4.5 year relationship where 3 of those years we lived together, I've been at my parents' place for a few weeks now and am just about to move into my own studio apartment. I hardly have any friends, and none that I'm close with. I feel so lost and scared but wow you went through the exact same thing and you are giving me so much hope right now. Thank you.

Coordinating with your roommate(s) when bringing someone home is always annoying. I’m glad that I don’t have to no longer deal with that next month.
P.S. For any guys out there, please keep your bathroom and kitchen clean. Women notice these things when they’re in your apartment.

I been living alone for almost 8 years in my own place and I was born with a disability. However when I first moved into my apartment, I did not want roommates for several reasons. Thing is you have all the privacy you can possibly have, you make all the rules, you don't share a bathroom and shower is all yours, the fridge is yours, you invite who you want your friend or relationship. You can get lonely at times but I had times where I had people stay with me and I just couldn't wait to be alone again.

Living alone made me be more social, I had to find courage to find my people, online, arrange meets up’s, invite people over for dinner etc. When I was home alone, I felt happy as I was not alone, just on my own for that time ❤️😘

I signed a 6 month lease in the beginning of January with a friend but honestly i can't wait for those 6 months to pass to get my own place. It'll be the 1st time of not rooming with a gf or roomates, I'm excited!
Turned 30 and will be living alone for the first time! I'm so incredibly excited but worried at the same time. I think it's important to keep busy, listen to music to fill the silence and make plans with friends/family at least once a week. I’ve been living alone for 2 months now. I’m a huge introvert and have always basked in alone time, so naturally I thought living by myself was going to be the best thing ever, but it’s actually one of the biggest regrets I’ve possibly ever had. I still have 7 months of the lease left (counting down the days), but I love your enthusiasm. I’m going to try to make the best of this and enjoy this season of life.
Aww yeah that happened to one of my close friends. BUT she wouldn't trade that experience ever. She now lives with roomates once her lease ended and is happy but definitely try to enjoy this tiny pocket of time :)
Can you please elaborate on why you really hate living alone? I’m also an introvert and loooove alone time so it kind of worries me that that feeling switched for you
@@rainingpeace437 Even though I like alone time, I’ve found that I still need some sort of human interaction throughout the day, especially at night. I think I just really don’t like sleeping alone. That was the biggest problem I found. Plus, I worked from home and was in a city where I knew practically no one. So I was pretty much by myself 24/7 and was going a little mad. But if you are fine sleeping alone and really love your independence and alone time, you’d probably have no problem living alone. There were definitely signs before I moved to indicate that living alone may not be the best for me, but I wanted to try it anyway and I’m glad I at least tried it out. I am staying in my city (where my friends also live) and I go to the office everyday so I have fulfilling tasks and interactions there. Hey love I lived with roomates for 2 years and this was my first year alone. In the beginning it was very hard coming home and dealing with all the silence and not having anyone to talk to. Then Covid hit and I've been working from home ever since. To fill in the silence I would play music, shows but mostly RUclips videos lol. Errands will keep you busy but also try new hobbies and things your interested in trying and budget for them if they cost anything and plan them out. Read, go for walks, exercise, declutter. Decluttering has helped me a lot girl. Our minds tend to hold on to our to do lists and decluttering has helped me think more clearly believe it or not. Just do what interests you and makes you happy. Hope this helps and just know it gets better. Anything new can seem scary, intimidating or uncomfortable but your going to do great 🥰🥰🥰

my issue atm is that i think living alone and having the freedom of my own space will make me considerably happier, but the monetary costs are high. but at what cost is me staying in my current situation costing me MENTALLY?
seems like spending almost half my pay every week on rent would give me the freedom of being happier, but its so expensive. thats one of bigger things holding me back i guess. i don't like the idea of saving such a minimal amount etc. but the mental freedom is worth way more right? it would be cool if you could make a video on how worthwhile living alone is in regards to monetary vs mental costs. hope that made sense. haha

I’ve had roommates for a few years now. I got a promotion recently and now make enough to have my own place. I just got approved and am moving into a really nice 1bd apt. I’m ready for this. Yes its nice not paying a lot for rent but, I really want to be on my own finally. It’s something I want for myself. I plan on getting a dog once I’m settled in. Ik that’ll help a lot with the loneliness. Tbh tho, I’m used to being alone. My family lives in other states and I don’t have any friends anymore cuz all my last ones were alcoholics and I don’t drink anymore. Not to mention my current roommates are always in their room so, I feel like I live alone already. The one thing I’m looking forward to is listening to music whenever I want however loud I want. I’m also gonna be starting a cd/cassette music review channel soon. I can’t wait for it, I just really want a dog or some sort of pet.

I just found your channel yesterday and I feel you came into my life at a perfect time. I’ve lived alone for just over 2 years now. Living alone was sooo hard at first but I got a bit better at it. I entered a relationship beginning of last year and I thought we’d move in together this year. I was so excited to live with an SO and to not deal with loneliness anymore. Well of course, we broke up recently and that’s not the plan anymore. Now I’m looking around myself like, well, I guess I’m still gonna be doing this one bedroom thing for a while. I’ve been feeling disappointed that I’m still going to live alone, instead of with a partner by now like I’d planned. Thank you so much for your beautiful outlook on this time of life. Seriously.
