  • Why I think these are the BEST active 12" speakers money can buy! Canadian built, baltic birch construction (cabinet), 3'' neodymium compression driver, 12'' neo woofer with 3'' voice coil, phenomenal vocal clarity, sweet highs and deep thumping bass - powered by a REAL 1200 watts of available power and made to sound good at ALL LEVELS thank to multi band limiting! As always, with Yorkville's famous 2 year, "even if you break it" warranty extendable if you purchase from Long & McQuade.

Still rocking my PS12P's. If i had the money though I would consider the EF12p's the clarity is amazing. Love your Canadian content!

Thank you so much. The PS12Ps are absolutely excellent 12'' actives as well. Was contemplating those initially for my purchase, but told myself, while I'm spending 1600$ per cab, why not just make it a clean 2K :)

How it compare with JBL 812 P and RCF NX 32

@@jirawatliw180 All of these are top MI class actives. It would likely come down to personal sound preference, really. The JBL and especially RCF might be able to muster a few extra DBs (especially the RCFs which are typically conservatively rated), but all in all these are all extreme performers and what top DJs will want to be using when clarity is of the utmost importance. Add subs under these and perfomance improves dramatically as well - once hi-passed and able to focus all of their energy on upper bass / mids and highs. I personally am not a fan of JBL, so would opt for the RCF if I didn't already own and love the Yorkville :)

@@duss2duss Lucky guy! I would love to have a pair of those. Probably the ultimate stand alone tops and amazing with subs handling the low end as well. RCF service is pretty poor in Canada however - or was many years ago, so I opted for something that was easily serviced by Long & McQuade (which is located 5 minutes from where I work).

I live my life long term.
Do they offer full warranty for 30 years.
    No
So I buy extra for when they go down.
So they need to be pretty fu=kin good to achieve that.
    Bic lighter special?
    We’ll time will tell…
