This is so unbelievably good. I rewatch this series from time to time because it just has so much charm and charisma. And its a shame that it has so few views but i guess this was normal for back in the day.
I was really starting to worry about the direction the channel was heading as sponsorship and project budget went up, as most viewers come and stay because you guys show stuff that the everyday guy can do in his mom's driveway. But, I have to say, this is a genuinely great direction for the show to head in. Thanks!
one of my car club guys has a '52 Chevrolet 4 door, they were pretty similar. His is flat black, rat rod style. I LOVED that buick. Its good to see that our antiques & classics are appreciated around the world.

just a random question is he autistic because I was similar when I was his age I preferred autotrader magazines over baby books. use it to teach him that's what my mum did with me.
Kyle Soler Taught him colours/shapes via car books/ videos. Knew basic parts of cars at a very early age. Now when eat lunch, we are reading top gear and talking about the new Ferrari being twin turbo. Or how some vehicles are 4wd drive or rear wheel drive. Teach him about types of motors. I guess he just loves it so its easy to teach. Coming up 3, I really need to buy a new project car.

Next to The Defiant Ones, this is my favourite mini series. You guys are awesome and your videos make me laugh and cry, I hope your videos last many a more years. It's that wholesome Aussie content we need.

I definitely enjoyed this :D Wish it was a little bit longer though. The cars seem a bit rushed tbh, but I suppose that's because this is meant to be a bit more mainstream, so you probably can't go rambling on about the cars for ages without 'normal' people (non-petrolheads) dozing off. Still epic fun.
I also like how the "Lend us a ride: Australia" title suggests there could be more seasons in other countries :D Please do come to the Netherlands one day for a single episode season. You can cross the country in a day :') Great car scene though.
I think they were just spoiling themselves prior to actually borrowing cars. They organized these car favors before for fun to get some exotic cars. No one surprises you with a delorean and a 1950's buick. They are totally awesome cars. I imagine this is going to be a lot more like roadkill, where the cars they borrow or buy for cheap, like a couple hundred or just actually borrow, will work sometimes but not work other times. They may break down or even have to walk. This series has been fully shot and done, so it's safe to say no one killed them on their trip, but it will be interesting to see how many people, how often actually just say yeah you can borrow my car.

seeing all the responses to fans, and that the videos will be captioned, in several languages, is incredibly impressive. Super classy, really great to see that MCM cares so much about the fans. I only just got introduced two weeks ago and love the show, so thanks for doing what you do guys!

I think I would be very disoriented if I tried to drive a stick in Australia. Being on the opposite side is one thing, but then shifting with my left hand instead of my right, that would take some getting use to.
Its honestly not that difficult. I drive right hand drive in Canada, I was able to drive no problem the first time.

imac8175 I found it on Craigslist. It's a Honda del sol SIR Jdm with the Trans top.
I have to say it's not that hard at all. In France we drive left hand and I have try an imported toyota mrs (witch is a mr2 but we don't call it that way in France 'cause it mean shit when you pronounce it x) ) it was really easy. The thing that scare me is more a drive on the opposite side of the road to be honnest.
It's a really cool series, I love it. Noticed you've got a camera man, a chase car, and it's all very professional. Probably on par or better production level with other RUclips shows like roadkill. That's great, I'm glad to see you guys expanding your horizons. Keep it real!

It's funny to hear that they've been all around the world while they visited like 5 countries.
East, west, north and south equals around the world mate.

I want to make something similar, but for North America. Go from southern Mexico to Northern Alaska.

@@healthyamerican I'll admit, the lines will get blurry when you go down South to LA, there's quite a mix.
Also, LA drivers are the worst. You have to be alert and vigilant for the idiot who crosses 2 lanes and through the junk patch to make an exit.

That and probably the most important reason: Freedom! They are restricted by just a few rules here on RUclips. If they went to TV, they would have to adjust to certain formats and sponsorships etc...
I prefer YT since I can watch it here in Spain, but you're right, these guys actually deserve being on TV!!
I am glad they have stayed on RUclips. If they were on TV they would have a set time of when an episode would have to be released, tv producers would add fake drama for entertainment, and episodes would be a set time of 22 minutes for a 30 minute spot, or 44 for an hour long spot. I prefer watching them on youtube. Also, for car mods that they do you can talk to people in the comments about certain questions and concerns you may have which is handy.

Its a Doctor Who reference that seams to pop up when time travel is mentioned as the Tardis does time AND space, it also does not rely on that outdated flux capacitor technology.....
Actually time and space are connected, so whenever you travel through time, you also travel through space.
Of course it traveled through space, even a stock DeLorean can do that.
Maybe not as far or as impressive as the time travel, but I think it would probably get you from Sidney to the Mountains or so ;)

yes yes yes a thousand times yes. the gramps build is all i think about. i need to see some numbers, I'm dying to see some laps, and most of all i want it to slay an unsuspecting GTR. I know you can do it grampy

Really disappointed by the show so far it seems like the have planned the cars which they will be driving and who will actually want his car to be hundreds of Kms away how would he get it back + future episodes they claim they would get cars from people they don't know and i just don't believe that and who would actually lend a car to a complete stranger!!!
on a second thought the show would be amazing if they actually will deliver cars for people along their route.
well obviously they did or they wouldn't be able to film an entire series. and would've cancelled it not released it. obviously they figured something out.
Because the strangers will most likely be massive fans of the show and won't have any issue lending their car to MCM.
Hell I haven't met them and I would lend them my cars.

I was so happy to see the Mighty Mira back! I just rewatched the build (not even knowing I'd be seeing it in this show) and it still looks as good as ever. No idea why he ditched the Recaro seats though, they must have been worth a fair bit.
As always this is just awesome. Look forward to every episode. Cannot wait for the day my wife, my son and I can head to Australia for a visit.

I LOVE!!!!!! that you guys show the reactions right before you expose the object/vehicle to the viewer.Your variety of cars shown are dead on. jumping around from awesome (nissan/subaru) to dumb (civic) to intriguing (v6 subie) to weird (blue turd) to epic (Delorean). Beautiful work guys!!
