Yes I’m more than happy about it I just wish the floor was a little bit rotten would’ve been easy to cut out but it’s absolutely solid really LOL hope you’re okay

The Fiesta body is a lot nicer than a bloody TT 🤣 good job guys and a seriously cool project- I love XR2s. The camper-van is awesome haha. Needs a couple of subs and turn it into a party bus!

I am amazed at the strength of that Audi tub with no panels on it. Incredible.
Impressive how quickly you managed to strip the thing down to a chassis.
Quick question: Do you have a plan when you start these project or do you get over problems along the way? (make it up as you go along?)
Loving this build, best so far. Possibly the most unusual so far. Have you been building one-offs since before you started the channel or is it a newish venture?
Please keep the videos coming. Only thing in tv that isn’t a bloody repeat. Really do look forward to updates.

Hi Ted Hope you’re okay.
The build has been planned over the last 12 to 13 months I would say.
Knowing what we wanted to do with the build. But it’s like any newbuild that hasn’t been done before.
Things change and issues pop-up along the way. Everything is possible. It might take longer it might be a bit harder but it is possible to be done. The plan all along was an extremely well manufactured roll cage to give excellent structure and strength. With the Campervan that Sam got the sale of that he’s going to help the build A lot but the plan is to put a forged engine in it now to get extremely massive break hp. I’ve worked and built cars for many years same as Sam. And building race cars. And repairing crash damage cars so it’s all the same principle of how to strip things back. The motor home sounds like it has the original numbers matching Briggs and Stratton engine! I think the a hedgerow came with the it. What a steal. I swear if you looked up 2 clueless blokes in the dictionary they'd have a picture of these guys. LOL. At first I wasn't sure if I was watching a video of guys doing body work or some old Monty Python skit I'd never seen before. I half expected someone to break into the Lumber Jack Song!!

The fiesta for its age is in excellent condition John it’s perfect for what we need. Just have a look on eBay for Fiesta Mk2 xr2 mate . It’s not been done before with a fiesta but it’s been done before the mark one golf

Im going to do the same thing with an Audi TT soft donor car I have and my VW mk2 GTI. I got the soft top as alot of the strenght is already built into the floor.

@shineautomotive yes, I think you generate static on the mats and so when you plugged it in it connected to earth and it sparked.

Quick question would of been simply easier to keep the original fiesta size as you've have special made as it's so wide
