WOW this is great !! first apartment shown is Paraiso del sol , stayed here with my mum and dad back in 1985 remember walking around the shops just down the road , perfume and leather shops etc . There was a restaurant along the main road called Banana gardens but we went regularly to one beyond veronicas that looked like a shack but it was amazing and cost back then around £10 for 3 including wine 😂 .The beaches was mostly black sand then and there was nothing between Playa and los Cristianos , THis video has brought back memories , been back many times to Tenerife but will never forget that first time

Jason Wright. My husband and I went to Los Christianos in the 1990s and it was very nice, in fact we went twice. We were advised to go there rather than Player des Americas by some friends, they said it was smaller and more up market and it was, we really enjoyed it and the walk along the promenade was lovely. There were some very nice 4 and 5 star hotels also and some very nice shops and restaurants. I would recommend it.
Used to work in Playa de las Americas for many years. At the end Hotel Jardin Tropical, worked there around that era. Veronicas gosh the parties there were epic
Was actually there in 1990. Caledonia Park Apts. I believe they were not long up then. Jus down from Laguna Park 2 apts. 15/20 minute walk into centre . BUT HEY! Young then. lol. Always remember the Big hotel at start of Video; The Bouganville Playa. ( Iberostar)

Great footage and great to see the Tenerife sol where we went 3 years running on our family holiday's in the late 80s. Didn't recognise the German with the tash and mullet you zoomed in on lol. I would never go back though, quite rough from what I've heard.
No way just no way 0:27,, that's the old tribute band place and tourist, I'm sure that may be the same hotel I don't know I remember the beach being closer, they did look rather similar especially off yer nut clubbing, right in the corner of Player de las americas the jet's skiing place, went to the casino on a horse and carriage, took about 20 30 mins
