I finally got around to making a review of the IsoVox which I have had for some time now. I hope you found the video informative. This is the first ever gear review I have done, and I would like to do more of these. So let me know in the comments what you think!

The official price of the IsoVox is 899 euros, and not 755. The price I say in the video is without VAT, which I forgot to mention. Sorry about the oversight!

Yeah it’s a bit of an investment, but you won’t get that sort of sound/isolation from foam ;) trust me, I’ve tried!

I’d love to make some gaming related videos, even if they are only talk. But I think I would have to start my own channel for that. Maybe in the future when his channel is my main source of income I can branch out :)

I was hoping the noice reduction would be a bit better. You could still hear you from your living room. Want to record vocals without bothering my house mate. still seems like the best solution though I guess, without paying for a studio.

Haha yeah! Lenses are a pain in the ass since my eyes dry up so quickly. So I only use it when necessary :)

thats what I did, foam absorbs no low end and barely no low mid, its muddy af

Thanks for posting this. I just ordered one. I have an sm7b as well. Just wondering if you have to eq the vocals any different in the low end. What frequencies are you removing to get the smallness of the isovox out of the vox? Thanks
Hey! I am actually a very big fan of the tightness in the isovox as I like it to be in your face and then color it with reverb. I have to do really minimal of eq on it as well. All I do is cut everything below 100hz approx and increase some presence/treble. But I think a good reverb is key :)

I an in love with the room verbs of Valhalla dsp and the plates from verbsuite classics from Steven slate. Those are the ones I normally use.

If the ISO-vox is on a speaker stand, can a microphone stand go through or is it somehow possible to attach something to the speaker stand so that almost any microphone can be used in it?
I use a mic stand through it yes. You don’t have to use the metal rod that comes with the isovox. Technically any mic can be used, but like I said in my video the sm7b you have to adjust to make it sit
You could sing in a cardboard box and i would still listen to you :) good on you for finding improvements to what you love to do! I enjoyed this video
