Its a great car. Compared to the Model 3, the i4 has a adaptive shocks, air suspension, HUD, quieter cabin, laser headlights, premium interior with nice ambient lighting. Its within 2 tenths 0-100km/h but beats the Tesla 100-200km/hour by almost 2 seconds. The i4 also has decent range at real highway speeds at 75mph. Its one of the only EVs with a higher EPA highway range number than city.
Thanks for the info! it's an amazing car. We don't get Tesla here in South africa.
I have it a month now and I love it so much
Got this 2024 i4M50 in Dravit Grey about 6 weeks ago. Absolute joy to drive :)

Nice hat - I've got the same one lol
With the start of the electric vehicle era, the paradigm is undergoing a complete transformation. The challenge now lies in awakening the somewhat stubborn masses. Let's delve into the core analysis of the head-to-head matchup between the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N and the BMW i5 M60:
Top Speed: Ioniq 5 N - 250km/h vs. BMW i5 M60 - 230km/h
0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) Acceleration: Ioniq 5 N - 3.4 seconds vs. BMW i5 M60 - 3.8 seconds
Maximum Power Output: Ioniq 5 N - up to 650 horsepower vs. BMW i5 M60 - 601 horsepower
Motor RPM: Ioniq 5 N achieves around 21,000 RPM [Note: BMW falls short in this aspect]
High Power Output at Low SOC: Ioniq 5 N can sustain high power output down to 10% SOC [Note: BMW faces limitations below 50% SOC]
Battery Thermal Management: Hyundai's Ioniq 5 N outperforms BMW in stable heat control technology required for high C-Rate, fast charging, and high-discharge situations.
Battery Density: Ioniq 5 N - 9,½,½ [Note: BMW does not adopt this configuration due to cost-cutting]
Regenerative Braking Performance: Ioniq 5 N performs better than BMW in regenerative braking.
Charging Speed: Ioniq 5 N boasts fast charging (800V, 350kW) [Note: BMW is unable to match this performance]
Dual-Stage Inverter System: Ioniq 5 N features a 2-stage inverter system on the rear motor. One inverter operates during regular driving, while both inverters work together during high-speed driving, optimizing motor performance based on driving conditions. [Note: BMW cannot match this feature]
After-Sales Service Convenience
Repair and Maintenance Costs [Note: Tesla is known for expensive repairs and longer repair periods]
Regenerate response
The fake noise is dumb
The combination of the speed you feel with the sounds make it quite a cool experience. Still doesn't beat the sound of a good exhaust.
Who cares if it's a "Rocket Ship"? Who cares about the numbers?! It doesn't give you any emotions, it doesn't make you love this car, it has no sound whatsoever (it sounds like a subway), it doesn't make the driver excited, it doesn't make you connected with the car, it's a plastic toy car for woke kids. I'd buy ANY DAY an E36 M3, E92 M3 over this crap. Btw I'm proud owner of an M4 F82 Competition.
So you’ve drove this car have you
@@stuartodell2828 I am owner of an M4 F82...What car do you drive? Have you driven an M4 F82 before? No, so bye.
@@Stilo95 I have an m50 how can you comment on the m59 if you haven’t driven it so bye bye
@@stuartodell2828 You want to tell me that your electric M50 sounds better than an M4 F82 from 2017? What a disgrace you are 😂
Picked my i4 m50 up yesterday after selling my mk5 3.0 Toyota Supra, I was feeling the same way regarding electric cars and was worried I would feel empty (moved to electric for tax reasons) but I must say it’s honestly such a fun, responsive car and offers an amazing level of comfort. Yes I miss a turbo charged engine but I probably wouldn’t go back in a rush!
