I think this is the best video for this song. She is a good singer and dancer plus I love the ending with the Anna playing the violin and rocking hard.
@kygreywolf yeah, i was replying to someones post about the violinist being good. it didn't put my post under that one like it normally does. that is danielle singing, and you are correct that they are both very talented. they both used to be in the west group so that i got to see them in texas, but now they are in the east and i miss them.
TSOVids: thanks and GREAT WORK- many of us (chrijens included below) couldn't see TSO this year due to lack of funds, and we APPRECIATE you bringing us this well-shot video to enjoy!! A very Merry Christmas and blessings to all!
I saw them in 05 or 06 and there were many empty seats. The entire back of the Jacksonville, Fl coliseum was empty except for one guy. When the vocalist started singing he walked down to the railing. They turned the lights up and she turned and started singing to him. He was hamming it up, the crowd loved it. I attended their shows two more times, those were sold out.
This is a very hard song to sing. TSO has numerous singers in their different concerts and not all are equal. Unfortunately, some are not quite in tune. The first time I heard this live was Dallas 2005. The singer was Jill Gioia, and she absolutely killed it, as in perfection. I believe this video is also Jill Gioia. She's magnificent. She should've won that rockstar nova contest.
Who is this vocalist? She has an amazing voice although her choreography could use some work. Although the clips of Anna Phoebe are short, I just love her energy! Great video!
I'm sure you do. They are playing here in Lexington KY, tonight, but I am missing it. I had free tickets, but could not find anyone that wanted to go...how sad is that?
I stumbled across a version of Queen of the Night that Florence Foster Jenkins sang and of course it was horrible but it brought me back to this masterpiece TSO did
@TheInamanica "Get over it"? You guys are the ones that brought up Nightwish to begin with. I wouldn't have said anything if you hadn't introduced them into the conversation. This is a video about TSO, not Nightwish, not Tarja, and not even your precious Annete Olzon. PS: u mad?
She obviously has a semi-strong voice.. but she doesn't really have any control over it, and she's really off pitch. However, the band is still wonderful. :) Merry Christmas anyways! :D
Never a true holiday anymore without hearing at least one of these songs.

Lol, I just realized they're referencing the Queen of the Night's aria from the Magic Flute opera xD
my 8 yr old got a present (jacket) from the group jus b4 the show started also the violinist was amazing

The singer is Danielle Landherr. Anna Phoebe is the dark haired chick playing the violin. Both are very talented.
You all amaze me always!!!!!!! Thanks for rocking the Christmas Season in style. I love you all! Merry Christmas! Love Always, James

That's Anna Phoebe. She was a stunt girl before she joined TSO.
@pikeybot

I stumbled across a version of Queen of the Night that Florence Foster Jenkins sang and of course it was horrible but it brought me back to this masterpiece TSO did

@MrNerd314159 They are really famous on the civilliced world called Europe ;)
Just check youtube if you really have no idea.
@TheInamanica Anette Olzon whines. This woman sings, and so did Tarja.
Because some of us like classical music with a contemporary flair. Sorry you don't 'get it'.

Not sure where you get that she's off pitch, but it sounds damn awesome to me.
