We've seen TSO 5 times in 4 different states- PA, LA, MS and 2 in CA. They never failed to impress! I've been going to rock concerts for 40 years and nothing truly compares to TSO for a full on show.
I caught them live back around 2008 or 2009 in VA Beach and it was the best concert I’ve seen in my 62 years on this planet. Absolutely astonishing musical, vocal, and special effects talent, and should not be missed. They will blow you away, guaranteed! 👍👍👍
Just came across this on Searching for music. Totally Blown Away. FANTASTIC. Wouldn't have found them if I didn't see them on RUclips looking for Christmas songs👍👍👍👍
My wife and I went to the Moody center in Austin tx. In 22 the 5th time we have seen the show it's been a experience to remember , the first time in the center it was fantastic

This medley by Robert Kinkel, Paul O'Neil, and lJon Oliva "Christmad Eve (Sarajevo 12/24)" tells the story of cellist Vedran Smailović who stood outside in the ruins of his city during the Bosnian civil war while bombs fell, playing classical music to honor each person killed. The orchestra plays "God Rest Tou, Merry Gentleman," the oldest Christmas carol the composers could find, while the rock band plays the Ukrainian New Year's Eve song "Shchedryk." Little Swallow, whose tune was borrowed for the copyrighted modern "Carol of the Bells." Here it's more the two cultures of Bosnia. If you listen closely, a lone cellist plays through the thunder and chaos, trying to unite the two sides, calling for peace theough his music on a cols winter's night. Listeners may of course imagine their own meanings as well. But I think this year, considering what's happening in Ukraine and the Holy Land, we shouls pause to consider what this piece symbolizes, whom it honored - the peacemkers, the uniters - and the story its composers said they were trying to tell when they made this particular arrangement.
I think I saw them down The Rose and Crown in Walthamstow knocking out covers of old Dubliners tunes. I can’t be sure as I was a bit pissed but it did look like them.
neilfreeman5824 That's actually funny because Janey, their amazing keyboard player is a friend of mine and she vacations in Ireland. She loves the emerald isle.
Anyone who fails to see these folks live is missing out on one of the best shows ever!!!!

The best version of carol of the bells by far. The beat, the drums, the loudness. Just amazing!
This is the greatest show on the planet. No holds barred in sound light or talent . Bigger better brighter louder tighter.
Of course it is 😃

The most Macho Christmas Carol in history
Started as the metal band Savatage
I record a several songs from 18th row center for the 3PM show. Is this 3pm or 730pm?
I was 12th row center…screaming like a maniac.
In 2019, we were in the 2nd row, somehow. Never been that close in all of my 13 times since, before and after.

@ellenbryn, here in Ukraine this song (Schedryk) is for the Christmas Eve, not the New Year's Eve, and yes, it sounds pretty much everywhere on Dec 24
Those who were somehow there when this happened
Trans Europe Express connection?
Christmas Eve / Sarajevo
I've seen them three times. Outstanding, but this is Christmas in Sariavo not carol of the bells. no matter the name, incredible just the same.
Same song.
It would probably be too loud for me which kills the enjoyment.
Nice cover version.
It’s not a cover
Cover of who and what?🤯
I wonder just how many are really trans, or even from Siberia. 😊
The same amount as there were insects in The Beatles.
@@kevinflynn4519 Beat vs Beet. 😁
Great job but how about wooly bully watch it now 😮
I think I saw them down The Rose and Crown in Walthamstow knocking out covers of old Dubliners tunes. I can’t be sure as I was a bit pissed but it did look like them.

You should do your Mayan history and find out what this place really is
How can anyone breathe with all that smoke?
