Great work! YOU guys should do a full shed setup over that booth instead of an awning! It would be SO much better. You could have it fully enclosed then and secure. If you were sanding a car and ran out of time, you just close the roller door. Otherwise you'd have to be moving vehicles back and forth to the shop, or leaving them outside over night! Make it enclosed and use the space around the left side and rear for paint and supply storage!
I think that the main workshop was the maximum size for the land area as mentioned in a previous video, and the only way around the paint booth situation is to use a awning as it's classed as temporary to cover it. You're right it should be enclosed... mixing and storing paint isn't going to be fun either. I think letting the concrete cure for a week or so and taking the time to read the installation manual would of been prudent as well as sealing the area under the floor. Serious possibility of concrete dust ruining every paint job with contamination if not sealed and picked up by the fans no matter how good the filters.
Good luck boys the paint booth is looking good already. You should probably go with the shelter over it just to protect from heavy rain and hail . Plus would make a great outdoor prep area . 👍🏻
I strongly recommend you move the paint boot inside your hangar or at least making it more rigid with an exterior skeleton. Strong enough wind will probably tear it up easy. I worked with similar panels for a mushroom growing room and it isn't the strongest thing out there... basically it's just polyester sandwiched with a composite.
you guys have talked about wanting to build a paint booth since your beginings, im happy to say that i was here back then, and im here now to finally see it come to reality, so happy for you guys.

Awesome video with the whole family getting it done. I really missed seeing videos of how hard your family works together. Looking forward to the next video stay safe out there and have a blessed day. Happy birthday Eleazar. Aloha from Kansas
The paint booth isn't heavy enough. Those high walls present a big profile to the wind and the building itself is quite lightweight. It needs to be anchored to the slab. Also, with the paved parking area sloping down to the booth, and the booth being a few inches lower, you are going to have a water problem. I am so glad to see you get this booth. Its been a long time coming and will be a major asset for you.

The steel reinforcing for the slab should have been lifted up off the floor on standoffs. I hope the paint booth slab is higher than the low part of the drive (or you have a drain in between), it looks like the asphalt drive runs down towards the slab. I would have kept the steel off the concrete floor too. You should have sealed the outer edge against the floor and I would have painted the concrete floor below the paint booth. You definitely want the same amount of lights on each side.
Rebar should have been tied. You can get the reinforced steel with little legs on to lift it as for the asphalt I think the concrete was above it, but it should have been level with a drain in between the concrete and asphalt. Madness the concrete guys don't tell them this before they pour it.
Yea, there's big drainage behind the booth. They were specifically told by the township to build it by codes. Now they put an illegal paint booth on top of it. It will definitely be a problem for them.
Reinforcing should have been lifted and overlapped, organic material under the base should have been removed, paint booth needs to be anchored down so the wind doesn’t take it away.
Congratulations guys 👏👌. Seeing you guys come so far......from small beginnings a few years ago to now, gives me and I believe alot of other people motivation. Keep on going guys👌👍

Great video I like the long ones with more content I've found you guys years ago when you were working on Jeep TJ's I have a 2004 TJ the progress you've made from then to now is amazing.
Yeah I was thinking the same thing watching this one. I thought they’ve really gotten quite a bit of use out of the ole skid these last few years. I’m in the excavation business and we use those almost daily, and we they bought that one I thought that’s a really nice machine, and they get to start out with something brand new, and will have a warranty and all that, but that is awfully high dollar if you’re not going to be using it every day. But they have got alot of use out of it. Plus they do hold their value really well. So in the end if you’ve got the money and can afford it, it’s probably not a bad investment at all.
When you caulk the outside joints Use blue tape Run the tape vertically about 1/16 off the edge of what you are caulking Over shoot the silicone on the joint Use a flat tooling knife to push it in Makes a nice neat caulk joint that will look like a rubber gasket.
We are so happy for you all!! We are really missing your regular 3 posts a week. Could you please post more than once a week. We are excited to see all your projects!!! Love when you have the family & all the animals in your videos too!!! Jewels has grown soooo much! 👍👍👍😊😊😊
I don't think they sent you extra light panels, I think you guys messed up cause you have two lights at the back and two on the right and five on the left, I think you need 4 on each side. Also, you should've waited for the concrete to set before the weight of the booth on it, that's why when you were putting it together, the panels were shifting and you guys didn't use the silicone to seal it. Not putting that silicone between the panels will make a huge difference when dirt tries to filter in, just my opinion 🤷🏻♂️
They will have bigger problems down the road. They were rushing to put it together. They both have been slacking since they got married. We don’t get 3 videos a week anymore, because they rush to get home. They use to be my favorite RUclips show. This is why their subscribers have not been going up, anymore. They're making money in Merch, and Dang Sauce. But, without Subscribers. This booth really disappointed me how much they rushed it.
Wait, do you seriously think the panels were shifting because the concrete wasn't ready? Have you ever poured concrete in your life? The weight of that paint booth is nothing in terms of PSI compared to someone standing on it. It was more than ready enough.
Looking so good! Definitely gonna want to prioritize having balanced lighting in the booth, otherwise you'll create weird shadows and you won't be able to accurately assess your paint job. Job number one of the paint booth is ventilation, but job number 2 is lighting! Also, might still be a good idea to bolt down the base of the paint booth; you guys get a good gust of wind and the whole thing will move, or at least get out of square, which could cause leaks between the panels!
Yes . I was thinking about that as well. Big storm with Hugh wind definitely do damage. Reinforcing the booth walls bolted down in the concrete excellent suggestionBrendan
Love seeing the business compound grow. I noticed there is a gap in between the slabs. will that be a problem getting low cars in the booth? Also, I would test out the booth with something else before trying it on the Aventador first.
Nothing phases you Boys , You always keep going and achieving the impossible, Now you're experts in Building Paint Booths !! Dannnngg Sooooonnnnn 💯💯💯💯🙏🙏
May be the 2 back wall lights were supposed to go on the other side wall of the booth. My professional installed booth doesnt have lights on the back wall just the sides and ceiling.
Paint booth tip: get sprayable grease and spray the walls pre painting anything. This will do two things. 1. Make the paint job have less debris. 2. East to clean and re apply.
So much stuff packed in this video - Happy Birthday Billy, that is an awesome paint booth and that 55 Chevy, the machine shop..... wow epic.... great call on getting in an expert for the welding, he knocked it out. So much hard work... just unloading the truck was crazy and timing was perfect really. I think they're doing bad from 2023. Their video quality and content are getting worse, not following schedule anymore. Also not finishing builds 100%. Their last 3-4 builds they did not finish 100% before they gave up on it and moved on other builds.
As well, known as they are if they didn’t check with the city I Hope as soon as they are 90% done cause you know they don’t do anything 100% the City comes in and fines them and makes them take it down cause they know they are being watched so they deserve all and any penalties they get
These boys have accomplished so much financially at this point that they don't have to do any manual labor anymore. But, what do they do? They continue to show us how hard they work and how humble they really are with all their success. It's so inspiring and awesome to see. Love you guys!!!y
Lol you told these boys are humble? 😂 Act of 20-30 mins on camera don't make them humble and kind. What kind of humble person removes their dogs tail and ears to make them appear aggressive?? What kind of humble person sells $150/small scrap metal piece to their fans??
Could you have put one of the light panels on the other side and traded another one with the back of the booth so there were three lights on the end and even number on both sides
Make sure you guys get the spray on film for the inside for any overspray to keep those walls clean … spray it on then after 3-5 paint jobs wash off the film on the walls and reapply to keep it fresh .. also add clear film wrap to the window doors so you’re not cleaning the windows all the time . Just peel and repeat …

Loving the content! Great seeing your dad so involved, I lost mine and it makes me so happy for y’all to have these opportunities.
Congratulations guys, y’all never disappoint with the content. God bless y’all
You two came a long way. Sense ur waiting a little to post ur videos I’ve been watching your videos over again. Keep up the great work
Let's go guys, wish I had some your motivation. God bless!
To date, this has to be the most stacked video with content that you guys have done. Outstanding.
You guys deserve everything and more keep up the great work and videos. Keep the car building alive
So do you!
@-Simeon_Goonzquad This screams fake account to me lol...
You guys can pretty much handle any obstacle thrown your way. Bravo
When you caulk the outside joints
Use blue tape
Run the tape vertically about 1/16 off the edge of what you are caulking
Over shoot the silicone on the joint
Use a flat tooling knife to push it in
Makes a nice neat caulk joint that will look like a rubber gasket.
Why? It'll just crack and fall out in 2 years.
@@1one3_Racing not if you use the right caulking
Dow Corning is what you want
It is what is used on commercial buildings
Lasts decades.
@anguslean4058 they'll use cheap hardware store shit and won't clean it first
We are so happy for you all!! We are really missing your regular 3 posts a week. Could you please post more than once a week. We are excited to see all your projects!!! Love when you have the family & all the animals in your videos too!!! Jewels has grown soooo much! 👍👍👍😊😊😊
Really excited for the Aventador to get finished with that beast of a paint booth
Darn nice job and it’s yours anytime ya need it. Man things have changed very cool. The whine from that Chevy also very nice.
Is that paint booth bolted to the concrete? I hope y’all don’t get heavy wind’s because it is going to fly away. Super nice!
Thanks for bringing us along on your journey
Yeah I was thinking the same way
And it has to be bolted down,a little storm and the booth will move.very unproffesional job!!!
Wait, do you seriously think the panels were shifting because the concrete wasn't ready? Have you ever poured concrete in your life?
The weight of that paint booth is nothing in terms of PSI compared to someone standing on it. It was more than ready enough.
Correct
U guys are "killing it" with awesome videos. This one was great.
Didn't get a permit either? Why is the pad so huge?
You guys are lucky (there is no luck, just hard work) to be able to spend that much time with your father. Keep up the good work guys !
Master skills handling the flipped lens, Simon
You guys are amazing! Good luck everyone! Someone’s going to get blessed with this awesome car!
Love seeing the business compound grow. I noticed there is a gap in between the slabs. will that be a problem getting low cars in the booth?
Also, I would test out the booth with something else before trying it on the Aventador first.
Love what you guys are doing because if RUclips was to fail in the future and not continue how it is now you always have a backup plan. Nice work
Nothing phases you Boys , You always keep going and achieving the impossible, Now you're experts in Building Paint Booths !! Dannnngg Sooooonnnnn 💯💯💯💯🙏🙏
Big things happening at the Goonzquad garage. Super happy for you guys!!! Congratulations
Congratulations YOU just won a great big 🖕🏼🖕🏼🖕🏼 Low life scammers
May be the 2 back wall lights were supposed to go on the other side wall of the booth. My professional installed booth doesnt have lights on the back wall just the sides and ceiling.
Damn guys you worked fast in this one moved right along smoothly can’t wait to see you painting the parts and the car next 😎 going to be dope
Paint booth tip: get sprayable grease and spray the walls pre painting anything. This will do two things. 1. Make the paint job have less debris. 2. East to clean and re apply.
Buy booth coat. It's a white, peelable paint that can be easily removed after many paint jobs.
They also make clear. I am a booth technician and can't wait to yell at the TV while they are working on it.
Silicone free caulk or you will have issues.
Then you go to lean on the wall, and you're covered in grease and then accidently touch the car now the paint work is ruined. OH NOES!!
yep
Y'all are some hardworking dudes.
We are having a massive heat wave in Texas and I could not imagine working in that temp, glad it was much cooler in TN. I'm hoping ya'll put in some good anchors after that slab cures. Nice seeing mom deliver the food... Always love your positive energy! Peace!
I've been watching almost 7 years now and you guys have just been getting better. Amazing vidjas and awesome content. I hope you give all the truck drivers and delivery peeps a t-shirt or hat or something. Without them you are at a standstill. ❤
I think they're doing bad from 2023. Their video quality and content are getting worse, not following schedule anymore. Also not finishing builds 100%. Their last 3-4 builds they did not finish 100% before they gave up on it and moved on other builds.
@@TNT-ml1ll Get a life
Well you guys finally got a paint booth. Hats off to you guys and all the hard work you've been putting in on getting this thing installed.
I'm worried for them, if someone snitch on them to the city. They will be in trouble building and putting all the hard work without a permit.
@TNT-ml1ll I don't think it's as bad as its removable its when they start ankerin it down is when the trouble will start
As well, known as they are if they didn’t check with the city I Hope as soon as they are 90% done cause you know they don’t do anything 100% the City comes in and fines them and makes them take it down cause they know they are being watched so they deserve all and any penalties they get
Definitely going to be epic for you guys! Looking forward to seeing you laying down some awesome paint jobs!
These boys have accomplished so much financially at this point that they don't have to do any manual labor anymore. But, what do they do? They continue to show us how hard they work and how humble they really are with all their success. It's so inspiring and awesome to see. Love you guys!!!y
Lol you told these boys are humble? 😂
Act of 20-30 mins on camera don't make them humble and kind. What kind of humble person removes their dogs tail and ears to make them appear aggressive?? What kind of humble person sells $150/small scrap metal piece to their fans??
@@TNT-ml1ll bro you are such a troll, you comment negativity on everyone, get a life. If you dont like goonzquad just leave.
@@TNT-ml1ll I see you under a lot of replies. Why does it seem like you don't like these dude, and if so why why keep watching?
@@thorisor2428why it seems like you don't like my other comments and are still engaging with me?
@@thorisor2428eah this guy is getting ridiculously obseesed and showing his trues jealous self. It's just sad.
Sweet work Fellas !! And who's ever beautiful lady that was helping out also...All hands on deck !!
Could you have put one of the light panels on the other side and traded another one with the back of the booth so there were three lights on the end and even number on both sides
Exactly!!! They go to fast,it's not even bolted down, with a lot of wind that booth will move
I love that you guys have your own booth. Big bro knows how to paint and now he has his own controlled environment… SLICK!!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELEAZER GOD BLESS YOU AND CONGRATS ON THE PAINT BOOTH
i hope you guys will be posting video's like you used to in the past. 1 video a week is a long time waiting boys. anyway good job on building that sucker you guys literally knock out anything you guys get in your hands. well done.
Walking for the first time on the slab, your Shepherd was in the background taking a dump. Great photo bomb!
You guys are so epic! Love the videos! So excited to see you two getting a new paint booth…….your paint jobs will be so nice now! And you won’t have to use that old , dirty, crusty booth again……living the dream!…..way to go goonzquad 🤟🏼🤟🏼🤟🏼❤️❤️❤️ I wish I had the money to buy some merchandise…but I’m a caretaker for my ailing mother……can I please get admission to the huracon sweepstakes? Pretty please!…lol
Finally!! Can't wait to see the quality paint you guys produce with this in your arsenal now!
I think you guys should incorporate a drive on lift into the paint booth, that would make it next level 😍
