Hello! First of all, thank you for your videos and it's great to see you in health. It was a definite hell of a year for everyone and having an injury that bad must have been discouraging. That being said, I just got my Jimny last Thursday and the first thing I did was change the tires, using the standard rim you can put on some 225/75 R15 all terrain tires and be good with it. I have Toyo a/T but if you like a more rugged look you can go with Bf Goodrich. I like them better but were not available at the time. I definitely will be mounting the roof rack and the camping tent on top as soon as I can. It's great to see you both so enthusiastic about your camping travels, me and my wife are wanting to start camping with the 3 kids and me buying the Jimny was a great excuse to start.
Hey Fernando! Thank you for your kind words. Congratulations on your new car and thank you for the advice on the tires. It's good to know. All the best with your adventures
I’ve been spotting your Gimny in Namesti Miru since last year. I was quite interested what was your channel about. Now that I checked it out, I am actually inspired. Wish you luck for your adventures.
I am so sorry guys for everything you've gone through. It's been a tough year but you've made it!🥳 Glad you're both up and running. So much fighting spirit, just like your little badger😊 Can't wait for more content from you guys, bless up!
glad you guys are back. looking forward to more adventures. i am going thru a similar mods / upgrades journey with my Jimny and thoroughly enjoy your videos.
Hey there, great video, looking fed to the next one. I have a 1998 Jimny that I'm also converting to a camping vehicle. Just fitted my roof top tent. I'm in Zambia and hoping to do some travelling and fishing soon. Looking for to the next video. Keep well and stay safe...Derek.
Thank you very much for your vidéos. They are great, simple and very good. I learnt a lot of things about jimny's style and performance because of them. It's a real plaisir for a french guy because the both you speak slowly and clear. I subscride and I enjoy to watching your adventure. I really really like your "badger" and I hope I Will have one jimny like yours as soon as possible. Take care and thanks again (THORGEN from Paris FRANCE)
Regarding tyres, have a look at General Grabber AT3 (215/80/R15). The BFG's tend to be overkill (unless you live on a farm and need tyres that can withstand punishment day in and day out) and are quite heavy, whereas the Grabbers are a nice alternative (cheaper too).
I am waiting to get Jimny in India .. one question is it possible for a 6ft person to sleep inside Jimny? For safety reasons during off road trip.. by you both are such a lovely energetic couple 👌😊
Hey! We hope they arrive in India soon! To be honest I don’t think a 6ft person could sleep inside unless you are able to remove the seats or lay them down flat… we will do some research about that
Tyre's ( All-Terrain T/A KO2 215/75R15 100/97S ) plus long range tank ( THE LONG RANGER 80 Liter Fuel Tank ) would be an very nice upgrade to what you already have :)
Awesome to see the three of you back again. Get 100% soon and thank you for the great content. I run BFG 215/75/R15 on my Jimny and also have the 40mm TD suspension. The Just Jimny channel on YT can also help with the configuration of the Badger. See soon! 💥🤙🏻
W ur suspension i would go for the 235/75/15 bf goodrich at thats the bigest and best looking tire of the market also the best all around and the k03 3 gen of this tire just realise
Hi Patrick, we ordered them from Opposite Lock here in SA and got them installed in George but there are many places to get them done. The Talka covers were ordered from their main office in Jhb and delivered to us. You can get hold of them from their website
Lucky You being in S. Africa. There is a fellow in S. Africa that has focused on the tech aspect of modifying the Jimny. In my opinion they are some of the best videos on the Jimmy and it's Possibilities. One is focused on the different tire options and the related trade offs. it is just awesome and full of relevant details the will inspire deeper thinking on the matter. He publishes on RUclips under the name "Just Jimny". Here is the link to his tire video: ruclips.net/video/h_hlVvjL9mE/видео.html. He also does a tire relevant video on tire pressure for various road conditions. I am not S. African, and an engineer. I rate this fellow as the top on a lot of subjects related to 4x4 tech. He also use "tough dog" suspension. Also, check out the RUclips videos by the Aussies, they are absolutely mind blowing regarding 4x4 offroading. Good luck and good health. Chiropractors are god sent for spinal injuries.
Very much more than a while !!!! Happy to see and hear about you ❤️❤️❤️

Hi. Where did you buy and go for the installation of the new suspension and also for the takla seat covers? Thanks Patrick

Thanks. Did the Tough dog suspension made a big difference? We also looking at putting a roof top tent on roof. Thanks Patrick
Hi. Did the TD suspension made a big difference. Thanks Patrick
Hey Patrick! Yes it did. Less wobble whist driving and helped with stability on gravel roads. It was not cheap but it made a big difference
Get well soon. What do you guys do as income streams?
