@@carolebarker2195 hey, I just discovered this song in the past year, I just LOVE the early Cars and their harder raw sound. Plus any chance to hear Ben speak.
@@julenepegher6999 I know, me too. Can't get enough of hearing Ben's spoken voice, so sexy. "Costume curls and all your lah de dahs" who CAN Ric be talking about, lol?
@@carolebarker2195 couldn’t resist to comment again, yes the it’s the mystery of Ric’s song writing. A lot of his lyrics are very quirky, He is one of a kind. I delight in all of the Cars songs. Great unique band.Long live the Cars!!
@@julenepegher6999 Yes, mysterious and quirky is right! Very hard to unravel Ric's lyrics at times, he was such an enigma. Love the early raw Cars songs. If you ever want to enthuse more about Ben and The Cars, my email address is endlesslyentwined@gmail.com.
@@slimedog That was the manager and record companies I think. I'm so jealous that you got to see them in their prime! I prefer the older live versions of their musik when it was the whole band contributing. They were all so talented. Later 80's it was all about Ric :(
Half punk, half kick-ass classic rock! And to think Ric and Ben's days as CSN-like - and maybe a bit Bread-like - Milkwood was just a few years before.
I used to think "You're All I've Got Tonight" was The Cars' strongest rocker. I stand corrected! 😊👍
Loveeeeee loveeeeee loveeeeee this!!!!!!!!!
Wow!! Don’t know what sounds better this song or Ben’s incredible voice introducing this song, Mmmmmm....
I know, what a find! Just fantastic, and the band are on fire! Ben sounds like he's having the best time, lol!! Bless him.

Wowza!!!!!! Cars rocked!!!!!
Rockin' live!
WOW! The Cars knew how to rock! Thank you...🙏🙏🙏
They could! I saw them in the early days. I do love their recorded work but they learned to tone it down a bit to make it more commercial.
@@slimedog yes,sadly! I prefer their early albums...😉

@@animemanganet I'm from Boston and saw them at The Rat which was our CBGB's. And this was before they had a record contract.
Thanks for sharing...Great job on the video..
