I quite like the new AC update and was going to try it as my main front end on the X, but I can't get behind AC minimizing every time I launch a game. Just doesn't feel seamless.
I've had some wonkyness with the inputs not switching over fully or instantly (auto mode going from controller to mouse) Edit: but the seamless factor is cranked overall in the newest version.
When I first used the new interface there was no "get more" button in the general tab* to change them. To get to them alternatively, you need to go to the tab that has the ROG logo and a folder icon. Then in the bottom right, head to "content platform" It may or may not take you directly to the intro animations, if it does not, scroll down through the content screen until you see them. Otherwise, you can search for "intro" and it should bring all of the available ones up Edit:*sp
i did try ghelper and stop all the asus processes, now my ally boot up very very fast and everything it's just better, can't believe how much this asus crapake this handheld slow
@@WinDeckTech actually i also bought a Zephyrus g14 2023 , did all the undervolt and was not happy because of the fan noise, after i discovered g helper decided to keep the notebook and also install it on the ally, the developer of this program deserves some donations and all my appreciation
@cristianJoker2512 Yes, you can get true fan stop with G Helper. I had the G14 before they switched to liquid metal, and their stock software did not allow the fans to go below 30%. I used it on the G14 generation before this one and could get 8+ hours of battery life with a 4080 in it (granted, the GPU was disabled). Now I have the M16 and love it. The battery life is not as great due to Intel, but I can get around 6-7 hours of battery life with only 10% degradation to my battery life already. Once I replace the battery, I could likely get 8 hours or more out of this as well. All thanks to G Helper.
Your rog ally having 20% or less battery through the video highlights exactly why you need the X lol
Lmfao I was waiting for that
Does the ally x charge itself while using it like a mechanical watch
This is the feature we need. I think it would have to be attached to a paint can shaker for it to work, though!
The Robocop intro - great choice! This is a great video going through and reviewing the new changes and additions.
NGL the launch videos are half the reason to have a Steam Deck, Asus comin for Gabe?!?!

For some reason I don't have the option to download more startup animations. I'd love that Robocop one
