In this video we take delivery of a stack of lumber and turn it into the structure for our off-grid Finnish sauna. I am no expert at building and taught myself how to frame this building. This is the most ambitious project I've ever tried and we are learning a lot along the way. We are building off grid so me make use generators, gas powered nailers and battery powered tools.

I only found this series today, but your whole series from buying the property, to the A-Frame outhouse, kitchenette and then the sauna is so awesome!! The cinematography and "let's see if it holds up" mentality is also great lol. Ikea furniture building, is also super fun. I didn't realize it was such an unpopular opinion! Keep it up Kuhns!

Good techniques so far! Only tip would be orient the sheathing horizontally rather vertically. Other than that, great so far! :)

What version of SketchUp did you use for this plan?
Not sure of the release version but it’s just the SketchUp free app! It’s pretty featured for a free tool
