Greetings from France again. All the merit and credit go to you. I have made over a dozen since, and now the cold weather is in full swing and my Newfoundland wears her neck warmer to keep her ears warm after her one hour swim. I made many small size neck warmers for my 10 year old grandson and his parents really appreciated YOUR BLESSED IDEA coz it came in useful to wear it on his first flight to Montreal this October, to visit his Mom, (she was sent on a three month contract by her company). Thanks from the bottom of my heart ❤️🥰🌹. I am wearing my new pink neck warmer I completed today. A big warm cuddly hug from my gentle giant my Newfoundland. 🙏💕🤗👍🏆🏆🏆

Hi, I'm very new to crochet and so far, it's been one month 😊, I learnt the single, half and double crochet.
I loved this pattern and want to try to do it. I have a query, the down part of the neck warmer is it the double crochet??
Thank you for your time and help.

LOVE THIS PATTERN. Easy to customize length of ribbing (folded down collar) and width of shoulders (those DCblo's). Here's my pattern takeaway from video
    ch 44
SC in 2nd ch from hk to end (43 SCs)
SCblo in next 25 (ribbing established), put stitch marker in last SCblo to ID when/where ribbing begins or ends, HDCblo in next 2 sts, DCblo til end (last 16sts). Ch 1, turn.
REPEAT until folded project fits comfortably for you.
DCblo IN DCblo's FROM ROW BELOW | HDCblo IN HDCblo's FROM ROW BELOW | SCblo in SCblo's FROM ROW BELOW
SCblo in 25sts ribbing of folded down collar established
HDCblo in next 2sts (establishing height)
DCblo in final stitches (establishing more height and width for shoulders)
ALL STITCHES SHOULD = first row of SC stitches that started the pattern
[Could start out with FSC to skip the chain + 1st row of SC's]

My first thought on seeing the notification was, "Oh lovely skirt"... Until I read the title! 😁 It was a cowl. I thought it was a cute little skirt for a baby! Still, this will be good for a cold, windy day or evening. Thanks for the tutorial!

Very nice! I wasn’t sure I’d find this, but here you are! One thing, though- the title is translated wrong. What you have here is a “Dickey”, not a cowl.

I tried this, I keep messing up my yarn tension i believe … I’m a beginner. Instead of the rows being straight when all together, the rows go outwards the more I make. I’ll try again!

You might not be crocheting into the last stitch properly - it is easy to miss the right loops on the first or last stitches. That makes the work wonky. Don't give up!

@lynnbrown9897, Hello, very encouraging, I'm new to crochet as well. I have a query if you can help me. The down part of the neck warmer, is it double crochet, whereas the neck part is of single crochet? Thank you for your help.
