If your valve cover is cracked, that can be a source for vacuum leaks. Change it and check again. Love the build man!
@@Lucidbkeo Do you have a BMW? these have a breather tube that goes to the intake manifold. unless this build has deleted the CCV, then yes, the crack valve cover can be suspect vacuum leak.
Huge fan cause of u I started turboing my e46 330ci been 2 months half way ish done. how much power are u running? And did u use oem head gasket or a aftermarket one?
Awesome to hear! Haven't dyno'd the car, but I'd say around 300 - 350hp. Stock head gasket.
Have you thought of swapping the valve cover out for the m56 valve cover that is aluminum? You being in Cali it shouldn’t be hard to fine one. I’m up here in Sacramento and found one with the coil packs and wiring harness for $275
Yup, I have one already. It should be going on in the near future 👍🏽
I’ve heard an x5 power steering reservoir cap can solve the splashing issue or just zip tie a rag around it
Interesting, I haven't heard of the X5 reservoir cap. Regardless, something's obviously causing fluid to come out and I'm assuming it's due to heat.
14.5-15.1 is ok aft for idle
Under 0.3 psi 14-15.0 is ok
1 psi -5 psi should be between 13.8-12.8
5 psi and up for safety should be 12.5-11.8 pump 11.8-10.8 e85
Remember lean is where the power is and where the metal melts lol
Yup sounds about right.
looks like your in ca..come to phoenix run that car in the canyons
i have 02 325ci 5sp looking to do a turbo build..i dd a civic thanks for your content
If I’m going to Arizona, it’ll probably be to go to musselman circuit, but ya never know. And no problem!
Hey dude I wonder what size is that Intercooler? 😁
Width...I'm not sure. The core is 12" tall though.
2 thing I noticed right off the bat. You’re not venting your valve cover to atmosphere so there fore building up pressure and blowing the seal..
#2 is throw those coils away and upgrade to the pencil type coil found in 03-2021 bmw. So much better.
Had same issue with spark blowout with square coils and upgraded to pencil and no issues
@@Lucidbkeo you change the valve cover to the newer type, and the coil pack harness (2 wires you cut and splice and boom done)
No tuning necessary. Super easy
I am venting to atmosphere. I’m also going to be switching to the newer coils once I convert to m56 valve cover
@@the_e46lover96 do youhave any pics n part no?
@Carloza Good tips! I'll have to look into it.
