3rd gen Camaro Code 42 adventure ECM location

Got Code 42 errors the first time in 300k miles. Pulled out the ECM from the left passenger side. Now have to do the Code 42 tests on the flowchart to see if there is a bad wire in the 4 pin Distributor area by the firewall. 1982 Camaro 2.5L 4 speed manual.

Wow, all that to reset a ecm code? What happened to unplugging the battery for 5 minutes.

Mine was pretty easy to pull out but since I'm going carb don't need that crap
