I bought a used 2020 z650, coming from a Grom. Was a bit intimidating at first but you get to understand the bike with experience. I put a Black Widow exhaust, sounds alot better. The power really kicks in at 6k rpm. Great bike.
I’ve had my 2019 Z650 for almost a year now, first bike, it’s been great. Perfect city bike, excellent beginner bike if you want something you won’t outgrow in 6 months. Bike is basically the same from 2019-2024 with just a change in the dash screen. Can’t go wrong with the Z650.
I have a z900 I got last year after riding a 250 for a couple years a long time ago, and while it was intimidating jumping up to that after not riding for so long I have to say it's a fairly forgiving and easy bike to ride despite its power. You really have to get the RPM up high to tap into its real power and it feels lighter than it has any business feeling, despite its actual weight being pretty high. Would love to see what you think of it if you dont already have a video on it, I didn't see one if you do
I have the RS version, pegs are lower which suits my 34in in seam whereas the Z650 I found was cramped for me. don't know if you guys get the RS version over in the states but if you do, consider the RS for greater comfort, plus looks better IMO
I’ve been drooling over this, the ninja 650, and the Versys 650. Leaning towards the Versys. Coming from a Drz 400 sm and looking for a little more top end speed and cruising capability
@christianridgel9234 I was under the impression that it came with the electronics suite from the '24 mt09 except the IMU. You're right though, the quickshift is optional, not standard. It does, however, come with cruise, gps, ride modes... all that stuff
I love my 2015 MT-07 with Koso RX4 dash. It still rides like new and with the Koso dash it also has that modern feeling. I don't care much for tech features and still don't want to get rid of it, but, I think I will try this one as well.
Love mine with a background of cbf500, bandit 1200 and sv650. Fast enough for road use and my skills, reliable, extremelly good looking, frugal on fuel, motor very predictable and fun after 5000rpm, super light bike in general and clutch lever, very good blgearbox and brakes. Overall for the 4000eur i paid for mine (2017 abs 59k km) i couldnt ask for more.
Hi my friend! Very nice as always! Do you intend to do a review on the BMW 1300 GS (not adventure)? Would be nice! Do you know "The Maestro"? Amazing rider and person!
The z650 is a better beginner bike, but not a better bike imho, this is a bike you will sell onwards because it isnt as exciting where as the mt07 makes more of a case for itself in the long term, both great bikes though, Kawis brilliant to learn wrenching on bikes as its dead easy to work on and simple and ridiculously reliable, i was a qwak apprentice for years and rode loads of these (all generations from er6- F and N to when they changed the name to ninja650 and z650) Ive got an sv650s for the track but the mt07 is more fun on the road, and the z650 is somewhere inbetween, not as powerful or wheelie happy as the mt07 but better suspension, but not as good of a frame as the sv650 so not as good on track, but if youre a beginner you probably wont notice the differences in frames that much till youre pushing it on track All are good bikes though
He mentioned in the video that he wouldn't get the RPMs too high due to it not being broken in. Respect your break in period. Doesn't mean you can't go over every once in a while.
No offense but these are just cheap recycled vids with a false premise. I highly doubt there is 'popular demand' for any repeat since the original is just as available. Lazy!
@vvevvevvvv I know the owner of one of the riding schools round here which had kwaks but recently just got 2 trident 660s so went to him again to try one out 😂 lovely bikes
Another old bike review back by popular demand ❤
Gotta love the California sun and almost 365 day riding weather. 🏍👍
I love my 2023 Z650. Not too fast and not too slow. Perfect for my type of riding.
Click bait to trigger the Yamaha owners 😂

Love every single video! Please please please review the yamaha xsr900 !
XSR900 in the blue and gold is just too beautiful
I love my z650!
@@TRAIL325 hell yeah! You put a exhaust on it?
Now you have to compare it to the SV650=) We all need to know
America needs roundabouts, no more stop lights
Carmel, IN agrees with you. I’m on board with it.

The new MT-07 is fully loaded with tech. Cruise, quickshift, etc...
Are you sure? their website doesn’t mention cruise control or quick shifter

Love my 2021 z650
I agree. Have experience on both. Would not buy one of them but if i had to i would go mt07 just because of the sound alone.
Nice review! Do the zx6r next!!

Have an iron 883 and wanting to get this as my next bike
It sounds better, that's all I hear. It's the ride Z650 is a great ride. It's the ride, not the sound.

Please review CBR650r 2024 with e-clutch system.
I disagree, the mt-07 sounds better !!
I've heard it sounds nice
You might want to get that checked.
Have you ridden any of the CF Moto 450's?

My kind of bike, great for the commute.
What’s your take on “Break in Period”
He mentioned in the video that he wouldn't get the RPMs too high due to it not being broken in.
Respect your break in period. Doesn't mean you can't go over every once in a while.
Do SV650 next….

SV kills both
They don't make them anymore.
? They do in Europe. Can buy it nee here @vvevvevvvv
Had this m. It was so comfy
Sounds like a lawn mower. Driving school kinda bike.
A lot of riding schools here in the uk use them, I worked in a kwak workshop and lots of schools use them, very smooth and easy to ride bikes
My bike in the bike school was an MT07😅😅😅
@vvevvevvvv I know the owner of one of the riding schools round here which had kwaks but recently just got 2 trident 660s so went to him again to try one out 😂 lovely bikes
Compare it to a Trident 660.
I would get this bike and I know how to ride a street bike already.
Id rather get the cb650
Haven't I seen this video before ?
yes
Unfortunate that it sounds so bad.
Its a great bike, but doesn't sound as good with aftermarket pipe as the hahaha or suzuki.
vroom vroom!
Oh, this I gotta hear.... lol!
I love my mt07
Doesn’t the mt07 have like 20 more hp?
No like 4
The small displacement Kawasakis sound horrible, especially with a pipe. They are not the best looking and they have a cheap looking fit and finish.
No the hell its not lol
