All those times i walked across my room, all those times i accidentally stepped on a random lego, all those freaking time i nearly passed out because of the pain. All of it was worth seeing this video, thanks PressTube for making me feel avenged (no matter how irrational).
+Blockmanz the Nunchuck Warrior haha want me to send all the previous attempts that I recorded for this video ? ;)) It's a short speech, but I think I recorded it like 7 times before I managed to do it without any mistakes :-D
You should try heating up or partially melting the legos in a solid circle shape and then crushing another layer around the edges. Hopefully it would fuse the legos together and make a sort of plate. Just thought that would be pretty cool, having a multi-color lego plate.
Who can tell us how many tons these LEGO bricks handled before they got crushed? Thanks for watching, and if you liked the video please give it a thumbs-up. -PressTube OuT-
You couldn't have made this any more boring. Move over, let the Hydraulic Press Channel have this one, as they deserve for popularising the subject in the first place.
+Alex Paulsen And this my friends is how jealousy looks like.... good thing it's allowed to have more then 1 channel on RUclips for each theme. RUclips would be very boring if it wasn't allowed. Take care byebye
Adamski1409 - XBL & PC invalid argument ;) RUclips is full of channels with the same theme. If this wasn't allowed then RUclips would be very very boring to spend your time on. Thousands of car, sports, gaming, prank, ..... channels ....
Wallpaper is a kind of material used to cover and decorate the interior walls of homes, offices, cafes, government buildings, museums, post offices, and other buildings; it is one aspect of interior decoration. It is usually sold in rolls and is put onto a wall using wallpaper paste. Wallpapers can come plain as "lining paper" (so that it can be painted or used to help cover uneven surfaces and minor wall defects thus giving a better surface), textured (such as Anaglypta), with a regular repeating pattern design, or, much less commonly today, with a single non-repeating large design carried over a set of sheets. Wallpaper printing techniques include surface printing, gravure printing, silk screen-printing, rotary printing, and digital printing. Wallpaper is made in long rolls, which are hung vertically on a wall. Patterned wallpapers are designed so that the pattern "repeats", and thus pieces cut from the same roll can be hung next to each other so as to continue the pattern without it being easy to see where the join between two pieces occurs. In the case of large complex patterns of images this is normally achieved by starting the second piece halfway into the length of the repeat, so that if the pattern going down the roll repeats after 24 inches the next piece sideways is cut from the roll to begin 12 inches down the pattern from the first. The number of times the pattern repeats horizontally across a roll does not matter for this purpose.[1] A single pattern can be issued in several different colorways.
RAGNARTHEVIKING9595 well i mean, its just that the pressure gets distributed around when you have that many flat things on a flat surface get crushed by a flat ceiling. the 1st clip where the lego is by itself best represents the strength of a lego under pressure, and its not that strong.
RAGNARTHEVIKING9595 I dont know how you can disagree with me on anything i said. Literally re-read what i posted. I never said anything about the number of tonnes it takes to crush a lego piece. So you cant tell me "no", because that literally doesnt make any sense. If youre disagreeing with me in saying that you think a Lego piece is strong, then you are just plain wrong. The reason we dont build with legos is because they are structurally sound, ESPECIALLY in comparison to stronger materials like metal, cement, and wood. The lego tower that Matt Bilik mentions is really cool, but its a completely solid (not hollow) Lego tower that is held up by support beams (more like cords, but i guess it doesnt matter in the sake of this argument.). Point is, you cant go inside it, and there will be no way anybody is building anything on a large scale with legos that you can go inside, because its not a structurally sound building material. It is weak under pressure in comparison to steel and cement, and maybe even weaker than wood too. with that said, there are some hollow lego towers out there, probably because it would be quicker to just build a shell than a full tower, but it has external support to keep it upright
I like how the 104 bricks were almost enough to resist the press. Fun fact: This is the same amount of force that was used to make the pieces in the first place.
+Hugh Mungus What a coincidence!! I used your picture at 4:42 min ;) Oh btw, if you ain't trolling ...... these are REAL lego bricks. We bought 500 pieces and they set us back about 250 euro.
LOL!! It turns out that one brick takes about 400 kg before the top starts to collapse and 800 before it collapses completely - a lego tower like the last one can apphearently hold up a car without even deform. That was more than I thaught :)
think of how painful that was for the press .....

Grizzly Melon You should keep your Lego instead of leaving it lying around
You should melt all those Legos now and make one big lego brick and then press that
It's so nice to see Legos die after so many times of stepping on them. HOW DO YOU LIKE IT NOW LEGOS HUH!

That LEGO now uses a plastic that is inferior to what they used to use. They now are basically just Megablocks with a "designer label".

HA - VENGEANCE FOR STEPPING ON THIS MONSTROSITY
That poor, poor press must have experienced tremendous pain in the making of this video..
I was here before this video went viral
Alex C 27k views isn't quite "viral"
+Nick Fowler That is why he said 'before'. :))
I gotta say, for someone who doesn't speak english as a first language, you speak it very well
Hopefully I'm not just insensitive

I never thought crushing LEGO bricks could be so interesting! cool stuff!
Could you try to fold paper more than eight times using a hydraulic press
GenericCookieDo I thought the myth was seven...
GenericCookieDo And someone did it by using a steam roller though
Tony Flamingo yes it is. But a actually with the right paper you can fold it like 10 times.
I think the paper will get torn where the bends are before getting to that many folds.
Z0MG H4X No it happened
why u do that. lego lives matter
Julian Bejarano2 especially the orange ones. they're going extinct.
Project Dedux yeah and they also trump supporters
Julian Bejarano2 was that a joke on the "this isn't what we meant by orange is the new black" trump meme?
Project Dedux uhh i guess😂😂
Julian Bejarano2 aight then 😂

One logo brick can take about 0.35 T before failure.
D-365 just like my penis
so it can't take one of you stepping on it then?
Yeh
Who can tell us how many tons these LEGO bricks handled before they got crushed? Thanks for watching, and if you liked the video please give it a thumbs-up. -PressTube OuT-
About 61T until it started to flatten (104 flat)
PressTube is it weird that I want those crushed bricks
PressTube the Lego bricks are plastic so it means it's not strong
Just under half ton before they start to fail. :)
How about you try to crush a camera whist it's recording. Like try and live-stream it to your PC.
Hi (sorry for my bad English)

Adamski1409 - XBL & PC Judging by the number of subscribers, we aren't doing a bad job. ;)
Make a Mosaic out of those crushed bricks.
Hello your videos are so satisfying! I have one question though, how heavy is your press?
+DhruvTheDude who there, do you mean the weight or the press capacity? The weight is approx 1200kg and the pressing capacity is 150Tons
yah you are right
damn thats heavy
Poor Hydralic Press, you made it step on like 100 Legos... I would cry.
Should take all those crushed legos and melt them in the super oven!

Why not crush the whole factory while your at it
It's one thing to read these things can sustain a lot of pressure but holy cow the engineering behind these toys is absolutely spectacular
So, it actually takes quite a few tonnes to crush these things, you could make a real building out of them.
Many homes have been built out of lego. There is even a lego tower which is a couple of stories tall. It's pretty cool.
Matt Bilik Holy shit, gg.
RAGNARTHEVIKING9595 well i mean, its just that the pressure gets distributed around when you have that many flat things on a flat surface get crushed by a flat ceiling.

max chavez actually im right i only meant one singular mitochondria
I like how the 104 bricks were almost enough to resist the press. Fun fact: This is the same amount of force that was used to make the pieces in the first place.
This video somehow got 720 (high quality) at 60 frames per second.
It even has 1080p @ 60fps ;)
Blade1067 like your profile pic

Firepool - LightClan Thanks :D
PressTube Oh. Well I was in mobile. I don't use RUclips on Computers because my computer is laggy
yeah you get 60fps on phones too
literal definition of when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
zalige video!!
+Joris Cleiren Merci makker ;)
Finally some sweet revenge for all lego's we've stepped on throughout the years
Disliked because you used a 2010 meme at 4:41
Seth Collazo 😑 really?
Seth Collazo it wasn't just a meme from 2010 and your dislike doesn't matter especially if your dislike was for a stupid reason.
Seth Collazo where?
It seems people don't understand the concept of a joke.
The last crush [104 bricks] would definitely fit in one of the "most satisfying videos of all".
When you say "LEGO" bricks, you really mean chinese knockoff "colored building blocks" or maybe LEEGO's?
+Hugh Mungus What a coincidence!! I used your picture at 4:42 min ;) Oh btw, if you ain't trolling ...... these are REAL lego bricks. We bought 500 pieces and they set us back about 250 euro.
PressTube Damn right I was trollin, more truth trolling :) Good catch. Glad to hear that you are using authentic products.
+PressTube hi
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME EVERYTHING IS COOL AND WANTED TO BE FOR THOSE DREAMS
OF LEGOS
Lets all take a moment of silence to recognize the amount of pain this press went through today.
Huge respect.
You didn't use real legos?!? Cheap legos break extremely easy compared to real legos
Thatonehuman stfu
Thatonehuman stfu
+Thatonehuman Nice troll
I hit a mega block many times with a saucepan and only 1 stud was dented.

hydraulic presses are far stronger than any person
Maybe with all that force you could pop that LEGO guys arm back into place
IN SOVIET RUSSIA YOU HURT LEGO

Lego is expensive you will distroy it 😡
Jen idio It depends from which country you are from. In Canada, for example, it's not very expensive.
HAHAHA!!! 4:40 Troll face! That made me laugh. Lol
my child hood dreams CRUSHED
Imagine the pain the press had to go through stepping on all of those legos with so much force...
owchie
Crushed lego bricks look like some sort of post apocalyptic currency.
The sound of him arranging the fifty flat sounds like when you build something in a Lego game
If anything, this video teaches that things are stronger together.
It was a sad day for the Danes, you can still hear them crying if you listen closely in the background...
rest in tiny pieces legos
this surprised me... Lego bricks have more integrity than i thought
I hate the people that made these videos. Ive become addicted. and why? Why do I want to see things smashed? lol
The 50 flat blocks put up a good fight it seems.
Our feet will be happy at this. Rejoice, my friends.
You TALKED! you have a voice? nice to meet you:)
i liked that.that crushed my childhood
I'm pretty sure you ended up stepping on at least one of them.
It seems like by the time of the 50 to 100 bricks the Lego blocks got up to about a ton a brick before the first collapse. Quite impressive.
I love how it makes the bricks more shiny
The Hydraulic Press screams in terror as it steps on the lego!
they resisted more pressure than you would expect thats cool
LOL!! It turns out that one brick takes about 400 kg before the top starts to collapse and 800 before it collapses completely
- a lego tower like the last one can apphearently hold up a car without even deform. That was more than I thaught :)
Do yourselves a big favor and watch at 2x speed. R.I.P. LEGOS!
