Two of the diodes in the bridge rectifier are reversed at 6:00 - enjoyed the video, thanks for posting.

Just wanted to comment that, diodes have to be flipped either the two upper or two bottom ones.

Left hand rule? Man everything I learned in college followed the right hand rule

Multimeter development did nor require the invention of tubes or transistors. They existed before and were widely used until their electronic counterpart were as cheap or cheaper.

They still helped in the evolution of electrical technology. Only thing is now the idea behind what work being done for someone with electrical devices and current is long sense forgotten.... Now its all about building something that can make money and not using ones imagination to build/invent something electrical that can do physical work for anyone. Thus in a sense (from then on)making the physical material do work for them using only the minds imagination and intelligence.

@@TheZafootz Paul, do you truly think, back then, the primary motivator, was not $$? If so, your thinking is akin to a socialist. Are you a democrat?? Democrat socialists put 'social purpose' over 'profit'. But, profit is spelled, L-I-F-E. Lack of profit spells, D-E-A-T-H.
