Fond memories when I was a kid as I used to live in Illinois western suburbs! And of course the smells of the mold-a-rama machine, I’ll never forget that 👍🏻😊
@@christophermartin1138 I'm sorry I had it wrong it's not an attraction. He visited the Mold-a-Rama warehouse 3 years ago. That's what I was thinking of. So sorry to get your hopes up.
When I seen the lion sleeping, I started thinking..."A wee ma weh, a wee ma weh, a wee ma weh......." Now the song is in my head. Zoos are so memorable to us. NC Zoo in Asheboro is one of the largest in the world and it's the one I am most familiar.
On the Gorilla family tree sign, Ramar, the mate of Koola, was the first gorilla at the North Carolina Zoo, arriving back when the zoo opened in 1974. He stayed at the zoo for 24 years before being moved to Brookfield in 1998. As the sign says, he only died in 2018.
Thanks for the awesome videos man! Your excitement about all these attractions is so wholesome. It's great to see someone following there passions like you do!
Next time you’re in New Mexico, you should stop in Edgewood (right off I-40) and check out the Wildlife West Nature Park. All of the animals there are rescue animals and respond to their names. The animals there are very interactive with people.
The gorilla is like a Jeff goldblum poster 🤣 that's all I could think when I saw it. Then you on his hand 💀 I couldn't stop laughing. Now that's a thumbnail. Great video
Ok 7:58 the sea lion playing with you was absolutely adorable ☺️☺️☺️☺️😊😊so precious I wish the sea lions at my local zoo gave me that kinda interaction 😊
Hey Jacob! That was cool. I loved the seal.. I got my pin today and I want to thank you for the prompt delivery. Can't wait for Haunt season and all the Haunted attractions you take us to. Safe travels my friend. God Bless.
I love how you love mold-o-ramas . As a kid I used to go to museums and loved those things. Should have named this episode:how many mold-o-ramas did Jacob get? Lol . God thing you had all those pockets! The answer is 11. You got 11 awesome molds.
Awww absolutely love that wee feline at 5:50 😻 reminded me so much of a beautiful feral cat I cared for with the same appearance and mannerisms. Laughed at 6:41 "Mr Lion you are big and beefy and sleepy" 😂 lions are stunning. That sea lion was adorable 🥰 the orangutan staring at you was intimidating 😅 the Mold-A-Rama machines are so cool and glad you got so many! 😀 Thanks again Jacob and best wishes ☀️
I am happy to see mamy mold-a-ramas in your possession now! They remind me of the small figurines that you would buy at toy stores, but a bit bigger. Lol I am happy to be in this tour of the zoo, with you too!
I love going to Brookfield Zoo! I live like 45min from Chicago. Wish I could meet ya Carpetbagger! Edit: Youre so lucky with all the activity. I have been a trillion times and only a few times they were so active. I still have my blue TRex mold-a-rama. I remember when they cost $2, $5 is a bit steep.
lol@blood thirsty Camel. I'd stay away too if one bit me. I haven't been to that zoo in many many years. Thanks for doing this one. Now I want to go up North and visit it again.
I don't wanna be a negative -Nancy Sir, but that was not a house fly (3:42) on the merry-go-round. It is a cicada. The heck with the like button, Where is the LOVE button?! That's how valuable your videos are! TY Mr. Bagger, Sir.
The cave elk is the infamous megaloceros or the Irish elk! These guys died out fairly recently only 7,700 years ago! So close to seeing them!Love the Brookfield zoo!
Great video. Very enjoyable. Felt sorry for the Black Footed Cat, he looks a little like mine. The enclosure seemed a bit small. You must have soo many Mould-a-Rama things now 👍😁
Jacob and the Mold-a-Rama’s, the saga continues. 😊. The Oklahoma City zoo removed all there Mold-a-Rama’s, but a lot of people complained so they brought some back.
This place is amazing! I love all the animetronics! I'm just thinking, with all the insects you can ride on the carousel, why is there no giant spider to ride? 😉
@@TheCarpetbagger Aw Jacob it wasn't a criticism, just trying to help😁 Ur pockets were about to POP! I got the white cockatoo as a kid, only moldArama I ever found ...
14:38 If you go to Horse Cave, KY, there is a place called Kentucky Down Under. They have kangaroos there, except they are friendly, cuddly like dogs, and they will let you in the cage with the kangaroos and let you pet them and feed them.
If you have not moved on to another area and you have the time, Galloping Ghost is one of the largest video game arcades, really close to the zoo. Maybe it fits in with this channel, maybe not, thought it would not hurt to mention it.
Still hope one day I'll see a Mold-a-rama or Matic in Blighty, would be so much cooler than a lot of the stuff you can get now. Now you just need a Carpet bagger version for the merch store, could even multicolour them with mixed plastic pellets.
Oh man you were right by my house. It was a Locust on the carousel, That area around the Zoo is covered in them when the emerge from their slumber. The Mold-a-Rama website tells you where they have machines, What machines they are and when the swap them out for other molds.
You might want to carry a small tote bag with you to places where you think you might be making a bunch of Mold A Ramas or just purchases in general. That way you won't have to stuff them all in your pockets and worry about breaking them.
Great video! I have not seen those mold o matics since I was child in Florida on vacation. I remember getting them at SeaWorld and Bush gardens, I am keeping my eyes open for them because they are great. Have you ever checked out Worlds of Fun theme park in the Kansas city area, it's a great park with some classic rides. Love your videos, safe travels
One day I will meet you. ONE DAY. Every time you are in Chicago you are so close to me and I nEVER RUN INTO YOU. We were even in Disney at the same time and I didn't run into you :(
More zoos shoukd have animarronic exibits, especially of extinct animals! How cool would it be if they incorporated them into Jungke Cruise-style attractions?
3:38 that is a cicada! Went to Brookfield Zoo all the time as a kid. Mold-a-ramas were the beat part!
Fond memories when I was a kid as I used to live in Illinois western suburbs! And of course the smells of the mold-a-rama machine, I’ll never forget that 👍🏻😊
I don’t understand how I’ve gone my entire life without getting a mold-a-matic. This is right up my alley, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen a machine.
I saw one at the LA zoo when I was like 8 but I never got one. Now they're pretty rare and in all the amusement parks I've gone to I haven't seen one.
@@1810jeff Maybe someday. They would fit in well with toy collection.
The field museum and Brookfield zoo in the Chicago area still have them. The field only has three I think. Brookfield has a ton.
Be interesting if there were an entire attraction that just had nothing but different Mold-A-Rama machines.
There is! He visited one not too long ago.
@@ladymichelle9100 i counted 11 of them he got

Spent a fortune on mold a Rama's. Thanks for visiting my favorite zoo.
The best was "Hey Kitty-kitty, what are you looking for?"
"Oh, she's looking for another place to lay down." So true - LOL
My girlfriend and I ALWAYS go to brookfield zoo.
Absolutely love it there! 🥰
This is a Mastodon 1:24

I normally ignore video of zoos but this zoo was awesome. Especially the moving ice age animals.
Jacob is that a mold a rama in your pocket or are you just happy to see me? 🤣
You've found your Mold-a-Rama paradise, CB. Congrats!
That is biggest collection of "working" Mold a Ramas in one place I have ever seen.
I wish we had those Mold-A-Rama’s in the zoo’s in Great Britain. What a great keepsake to keep 😀

You definitely love the Mold A Rama. Some cute ones and a great walk thru with the animatronic ice age animals.
This waas alot of fun! I am glad you could add to your collection.
Love Brookfield --- I also grew up with that zoo, and Lincoln Park Zoo.
BTW -- I'm pretty sure that insect on the carousel was actually a cicada.
I love Brookfield Zoo. Thanks for all the great videos. Keep them coming.
How stinking cute are you!! I wish I had a son or grandson that was as fun as you. Hugs and God bless, love those post cards!!
