Nice video. Difficult to find people with experience with specific gimbals. I've got my hands on a Feiyutech AK2000S gimbal for my Sony ZV-E10 camera. I can't seem to get the camera to recognize the gimbal. In Feiyutechs official video the camera just instantly connects to the gimbal. I've tried following the steps in this video, also trying to turn on the gimbal first before the camera, but I can't seem to get it to function. how about the settings on the camera? also, DJI clearly instructed that you turn the gimbal on first, then the camera. if the cam is already turned on before the gimbal, it will not work.

hello, CHITRANSH... thanks for dropping by. what you saw attached under my ZV E10 is a 323 adapter plate that comes with the Manfrotto 200PL-14 plate mount that I fixed to the Ronin SC's quick release plate. They are different products to get, but you can buy the plate and mount as a set.

with the basic setup purchased, the answer is no. you'll need to buy the zoom dial thing separately, and that thing will also only work if you're using a power zoom lens.
Do you know why the camera screen would go blank after turning on the camera after the gimbal? All the settings and connections are the same as the video, but still no luck! ☹️🤞
the ronin sc should work as a computer for the camera, so, i guess we can troubleshoot it the same way when the camera displays black when connected to a regular computer. crossing my fingers as well because i haven't encountered this from my end: *Turn off camera, wait for 30 seconds and then turn it back on. *Check the USB Connection settings... if Auto didn't work, try MTP. *Turn both camera and gimbal off, re-switch them back on gimbal first then the camera.

hi... the Star menu is my custom menu... you add your own selections in there. are you also using Sony ZV-E10? here are what you need to make sure... (1) don't connect the camera yet... do these first: (1.1) go to third tab, page 1/2 - Network1, turn OFF "Smartphone Connect", and then (1.2) on the same page - Network1 page 1/2 - go to "PC Remote Function"... switch "PC Remote" ON... and (1.3) change "PC Remote Cnct Method" to USB... go back to main menu. hi... if you're looking for an all around gimbal both for your zve10 and probably your dslr, sc2 is the better choice. also, sc2 is more ergonomically designed since sc was the first for mirrorless, that is why sc2 is the more improved verson as far as confort in use is concerned.

sure did, sir. zv e10 is great with this ronin sc... even if you add manfrotto quick release or any quick release system which i strongly recommend if you also use tripod for the same camera 👍😊
Sir question po.. yung nabili ko po kasing ronin sc is 2nd hand.. yung cord na dala niya is only type c to multi cam na micro.. saan po ba pwede bumili ng type c to type c na cable po for ronin..
hirap nyan, paps. kc kung original hanap mo not sure kung may original parts na mabibili separately from actual dji store (searching ako ngayon online pero so far wala from actual dji). siguro try mo third party basta data cable sya.
hi. nikon d3400 is a dslr... ronin sc is for mirrorless cameras. if the weight of d3400 is still within the maximum, you can use ronin sc as stabilizer... but for the remote control features, so far based on the list from DJI, it supports Nikon Z6 and Z7.
hello, don. kung cellphone gagamitin mo as camera (tulad sa isang video ko), hindi pwede kc hindi sya (cp) identified as compatible camera ni ronin. and also ise-set mo pa sa camera yung PC Remote, na wala sa camera app ng cp. so, kumbaga pang-stabilize lang si ronin sc nun pag cp ang camera (no direct connection for control).
hello, brother. it seems like moza air cross 2 series is not yet supporting or compatible with zv e10. the currently latest compatible sony camera is still the zv1. but anyway, as for connecting a compatible camera to moza air cross 2 gimbal... connect the multi-c to type c usb cable to the gimbal (port somewhere on the tilt arm/motor) while the type c end goes to the camera. once connected, (1) power the gimbal... (2) press and hold the red record button... (3) press the round wheel to the right 2 times to go to shutter cable on the menu... (4) select in the menu under shutter cable the type of cable you're using. (5) you're good to go. but then again (that is for sony compatible cameras). NEXT... on the camera menu... (1) turn off "Control with smartphone." (2) set "USB connection" to "computer remote control".
hello, bro... actually wala pa talaga si zve10 sa compatible cameras ni ronin sc... sa actual list nasa Sony A series palang. pero try mo muna mga to baka umubra: (1) after connecting both camera and gimbal, BE SURE TO POWER ON THE RONIN SC FIRST, before the powering on the camera; (2) make sure the camera is set to PC Remote; (3) kung ang lens is with built in power zoom, set the camera to Optical Zoom... pero kung hindi power zoom ang lens, i-set mo yung camera sa Digital zoom. pati nga lenses may compatibility consideration din kaya malamang hindi gagana sa kit lens. si zve10 yata naipasok lang simula RSC3... RSC2 pababa wala si zve10. And other solution dyan, idagdag mo yung focus motor na ikinakabit sa tabi ni lens mismo. Also... tingnan mo rin baka gumagana naman sa FOCUS, hindi nga lang sa ZOOMING. update kita pag may bagong balita since pareho tayong zve10 user...
hi, there. first and foremost, thank you so much for dropping by. for now i can't think of any possible reason. should have worked if zv e10 was set for pr remote and all other connection like smartphone are turned off, you used the correct cable (the short one with type c on both ends and one end is angled at 90 degrees). ill see what i can find out about this error. thanks again sincerely.

@@diaridorchidee i'm glad it did on your end. i'm not sure why others aren't lucky, but technically zv e10 is not included in the compatible camera list of dji for ronin sc, and up to now they have not made any updates for ronin sc firmware.
@@diaridorchidee You were able to get the focus wheel to work with Ronin-SC, Focus Wheel, and ZV-E10?
@@jeffstevenson9406 hello yes I confirm I can manage the focus from usb c connection, here my settings on the Zve10
Connection to smartphone disabled
Connection to pc enabled
Control method USB
The settings on Ronin from the menu front dial I choose the option zoom/focus (actually I never tried to use the zoom lens because I have a pretty heavy one and usually just use my prime lenses on Ronin). For the cable setting I followed the instructions in the video. I hope it can be of help.
between the ronin SC and the Ronin sc2 which is better for the Sony zv e10 please?
hi... if you're looking for an all around gimbal both for your zve10 and probably your dslr, sc2 is the better choice. also, sc2 is more ergonomically designed since sc was the first for mirrorless, that is why sc2 is the more improved verson as far as confort in use is concerned.
Hello, could you please tell me if the Ronin gives power to the camera while in use?
hi... i appreciate you so much for dropping by. for your question, actually no. the cord is only for controlling the camera using the gimbal.
Jo aapane settings bataya tha vah maine kar
sir my cameera is not responding after doing all the settings accoring to you
i'll re-create this tutorial to see if i'll also gonna encounter the same problem next time i try it.
Camera Sony Z10 Ronin SC cable connect nahi ho raha hai jo aapane setting se bataye the kya
here are what you need to make sure...
(1) don't connect the camera yet... do these first:
(1.1) go to third tab, page 1/2 - Network1, turn OFF "Smartphone Connect", and then
(1.2) on the same page - Network1 page 1/2 - go to "PC Remote Function"... switch "PC Remote" ON... and
(1.3) change "PC Remote Cnct Method" to USB... go back to main menu.
(2) Go to fifth tab and to Setup3, page 3/5 > Set "USB Connection" to AUTO. you are now all set, BUT... POWER OFF THE CAMERA NOW.
(3) Make sure both gimbal and camera are OFF.
(4) Connect the gimbal to the camera using the correct cable - both Type C ends and one is at 90 degree angle... connect the angled end to the gimbal... connect the straight end to the camera.
(5) POWER ON THE GIMBAL FIRST... so that it will prepare itself to read connected camera later on.
(6) POWER ON THE CAMERA LAST.... That's it.
I hope this will help.
Did you find balancing with the zv e10 easy with this? Thanks
sure did, sir. zv e10 is great with this ronin sc... even if you add manfrotto quick release or any quick release system which i strongly recommend if you also use tripod for the same camera 👍😊
Sir question po.. yung nabili ko po kasing ronin sc is 2nd hand.. yung cord na dala niya is only type c to multi cam na micro.. saan po ba pwede bumili ng type c to type c na cable po for ronin..
hirap nyan, paps. kc kung original hanap mo not sure kung may original parts na mabibili separately from actual dji store (searching ako ngayon online pero so far wala from actual dji). siguro try mo third party basta data cable sya.
Dji ronin sc are support Nikon d3400 camera?
hi. nikon d3400 is a dslr... ronin sc is for mirrorless cameras. if the weight of d3400 is still within the maximum, you can use ronin sc as stabilizer... but for the remote control features, so far based on the list from DJI, it supports Nikon Z6 and Z7.
❤❤❤
Sir my moza Air cross 2 not contact to zve10, plz sulv sir
hello, brother. it seems like moza air cross 2 series is not yet supporting or compatible with zv e10. the currently latest compatible sony camera is still the zv1. but anyway, as for connecting a compatible camera to moza air cross 2 gimbal... connect the multi-c to type c usb cable to the gimbal (port somewhere on the tilt arm/motor) while the type c end goes to the camera. once connected, (1) power the gimbal...
Jo aapane settings bataya tha vah karke dekh liya fir bhi Keval connect nahin ho raha
bakit hindi hindi po gumagana yung FOCUS WHEEL sa SONY ZV-E10
hello, bro... actually wala pa talaga si zve10 sa compatible cameras ni ronin sc... sa actual list nasa Sony A series palang. pero try mo muna mga to baka umubra: (1) after connecting both camera and gimbal, BE SURE TO POWER ON THE RONIN SC FIRST, before the powering on the camera; (2) make sure the camera is set to PC Remote; (3) kung ang lens is with built in power zoom, set the camera to Optical Zoom... pero kung hindi power zoom ang lens, i-set mo yung camera sa Digital zoom.
LEEEEEEEGEND!
thanks for appreciating. just sharing to help fellow zve10 / ronin sc users.
I did the exact Same Thing Like U mentioned.... Still my cam says"cannot recognize the UB cable"😩
hi, there. first and foremost, thank you so much for dropping by. for now i can't think of any possible reason. should have worked if zv e10 was set for pr remote and all other connection like smartphone are turned off, you used the correct cable (the short one with type c on both ends and one end is angled at 90 degrees). ill see what i can find out about this error. thanks again sincerely.
i have someone commented that they were able to get it to work after getting an error. maybe... just maybe... updating ronin will help. i hope it will. do come back so we could help others as well with the same issue. thank you so much 😊
@@classzedits i figured it Out! Its an issue how you Plug the Cable in! The orrientation of the cable seems to be important! So If u get the Error Just Turn arround the cable and IT works🤷🏼♂️😅

hello, dude. what error are you getting? or what exactly's not working, so I could figure it out from my end 🙂
Sry now it's ok, because I didn't update so only now it's ok ☺ any way thank you so much ❤
hi, roshan. did you mean updating helped? coz someone is also asking about their cable still not recognized.
@@classzedits yeah it helped me bro.
The red button don’t work :-(((
please follow closely the steps. i'll re-create the tutorial soon to see if it will fail too next time i try it.
Sir ayaw mag connect nang SC to App
Ayaw mag connect nang Bluetooth
check mo po lahat ng settings procedure or required for the camera as discussed, tapos kung ano ang unang io-on (gimbal or yung camera). also make sure to use the correct cable that came with the gimbal.
ahmm... wait. bluetooth po? tethered po tayo sa procedure na to using one of the cables with type c on both ends.
Thanks
same brother. thank you for appreciating. and im glad it also worked on your end.
