I read a sample so many months ago and the first few pages sat in my memory calling to me. I finally started reading Acotar and find it hard to put down. The characters are unforgettable. I'm definitely not a literary critic but good storytelling is good storytelling! Anything that keeps me thinking about the story and characters means she did something very right!
Im glad you mentioned how this was not a YA book due to its explicit scenes. It was in the teen section at my library! I told the librarian i did not think it belonged in the teen section and should be moved to the adult books..
